So, i've been playing a build similar to this since legion (depending on needs) I've found that this build helps to keep people alive long enough for other healers to be very effective. You do much more than details/logs actually record......... ------------------------------------------ The difference i have are as follows. Flash Flood +2 -Free 20% Haste with rotation Riptide heal heal Ancestral Vigor +2 (Optional) -No logable difference, but its essentially -10% damage taken to your targets, scales with more haste Mana Tide Totem -1 -You do not need mana with this build Spiritwalker's tidal totem-1 -No Mana tide Earth Wall Totem-1 -While it is good (for logs) Performance isnt good enough to take connecting talents to get to it Earthen Harmony -2 -Good talent, but tanks currently survive without it regardless so why even bother? Ascendance -1 -Really not worth 3 points Undercurrent +2 -Even without playing well with your set bonus, this is a flat out minimum of 4% increase HPS and can go much higher if you play with your set bonus well. Have as much as 10 out most i've had where i noticed. Deeply Rooted > Wellspring Your wellspring crit for 60k which sounds nice. But its average hit per player will be about 30k.... which will not even move your HP bars... @ best 5% of a player HP. Your global is better spent adding another target with your set bonus heal. ------------------------------------------ Points to note with your build and playstyle.... -You casted a total of 0 Healing Waves/Surges and made 0 use of Ancestral Awakening, Undulation and Primordial Wave -Casting Chain Heal W/O talents is a waste of mana and globals. ------------------------------------------ Other things to note The optional +2 to Ancestral Vigor as listen above Can be replaced with Torrent +2 Tide Turner + Overflowing Shores Mana Tide + Spiritwalkers (Massive haste boost to healing wave) ------------------------------------------ High Crit/haste really helps this build to shine but its very APM intensive. IMHO, it is more useful than the chain heal build but definitely does not peak as high. Loads of passive smart healing is done with this build. and a passive 10% hp increase.
If you dont take the chain heal talents, it is better to use healing wave for the tidal totem cd. spot healing a number of targets with riptide to make it giga spread. it is really good when you use it to set up into big healing windows. Really good on fyraak or smoldy where there is a need for throughput.
I'm going to have to play around with this build. My raid asked me to switch from resto druid to shammy for some healer diversity and I just don't really know as much about healing on the shammy compared to the druid. This seems like a great way to do better and not have to be perfect. Thanks!

Use your passive mythic build and made learning process a 1000% better. Question is any update with the well spring and unleash life.
I don't have a big update right now, but you can use Unleash Life with Wellspring. I think it complicates the rotation a bit more, so if you're looking for a simpler version of the build, I'd avoid that combo. If you aren't using Unleash + Wellspring every 20 seconds, you're basically wasting it. You could instead, just go for Chain Heal talents and get big healing that way. Up to you, but if you want simpler, just use Chain Heal. :)

I did see the updated play with Unleash + Wellspring and seen the comment, I for one think it's a very good build and content to learn what dose what and how to play in general. As an older gentleman It's easy to follow and it has boost my confidence. Pug's can be heartless at times and it took that scared to play healer for me away. Imp ELW/wellspring is 3 points you can use elsewhere. For a passive heal focused i would take those points and swap into cont waves or torrent and AV. Then swap to undulation since your dropping HWaves as your big spot heals. If you really want to go down the right side, Undercurrent will always give you more hps than imp ELW. Especially in raid, but in M+ as well. It impacts all heal, including ELW. All your HOTs also get buffed. Wellspring is garbage, even with the shield. DRE is better on raid than m+ sonce your HWaves and Surges will heal others nearby. That spread healing is additional pseudo AOE healing. Those tweaks would keep the spirit of the passive healing youre going for but also buffs your overall healing and especially your CDs.

Im at 486 and I rarely have mana issues in M+ unless Im running 24+ 2) Here is a better passive build IMO for M+. Honestly I dont see the point it running it in raid since you want to spend every GCD available healing in a raid environment. If you have a lot of time to DPS, you have too many healers. Key points with this build 1- Fast HWaves and CHs with Tidebringer, HT, and STT 2- AA for secondary healing. Wavespeakers for long RT HoTs 3- Deluge to make those CH/HWave/HSurges top people off faster so you can get back to DPS 4- HT as a mini CD 3) Honestly though, I dont like this as much as a more active playstyle. Couple notes based on your healing breakdown: Your usage of chain heal seems really high, you likely have mana issues on most fights if this breakdown is close to your norm (replace those casts with healing wave on low target health targets and followup with riptides to spread riptide. Second healing stream totem with the buffs coming next week make it outright better than cloudburst if you dont play shaman at a super high level for raiding (over around 20k hps on average), so that is now the default. Also, wellspring is not a very good talent at the moment. Deeply Rooted Elements just flat out does more healing and costs zero mana. Earth living weapon is close to being even with the weapon rune, but the points below never are good to take over undercurrent (because on average you are at around 5 or so targets with riptide so you compare around 1 % to a bit over 5).
What? Lol... I healed for 200k hps... That's loads of healing and would get a great parse. Also why do you care so much about parsing if the boss dies??

It is much better yes... Buzzing Rune might add 1.5% more healing in total, whereas Earth living is 4-5%

He’s not a particularly great healer but in general he makes content for new or lower end healers and I think that’s ok

You still need to take the every 8 second chain heal talent instead of ancestral spirits. It’s a horrible talent.
