I absolutely loved the chain heal play with tidebringer brought over from pvp, it was very neat. That said this build with healing stream totem is really cool, I would like to point out though, I think with how active riptide is these days, taking earthen and then undercurrent to path down to DRE I feel like would bring some good value overall. I mean on keys at least that's buffing every heal you do by 2.5% I feel like that alone can make up for earthliving. On top of that earthen is really strong, especially dropping two with totemic recall. Idk just a thought of someone really hates earthliving weapon. Also frees you up to use a crit rune

Great video, any chance you can do a deep dive raid spec just like this video? I'm bringing my Shaman back to life after years so I'm super Rusty and this is perfect
this is an interesting build, however i dont think it is more viable than the standard chain heal build. I do think the chain heal build is getting a little bit stale, but i dont think this is the one to overtake it. Additionally, taking living stream over cloudburst is not the move either. You said in your video at about 13 mins in that cloudburst would not have been able to replicate the healing of healing stream. However i have done this many times on this boss in 24s-26s and it definately is, you said it at the start of the video, you have to know when to use CB totem, and its not hard to learn, but i agree some people do not know how to use it, but thats why its all about learning the fights. Knowing when the damage is going to come in and planning ahead. In regards to being OOM in chain heal build, simply dont press it as much, this is what i see people doing alot, track tidebringer and talent into the mana tide totem that lasts longer, and youll be good the whole run. i really like the use of primal tide core and earthliving weapon, but sadly i think they need some tuning as they re simply not good enough. With primal and the tierset, you are going to be way overproccing your riptides, and if youre in a scenario where more healing needs to be done, it is going to be way faster to just use a chain heal and CB totem. For earthliving, it either needs to be a standard spell you get or easier to get to in the tree or buffed, because it is really cool, but its not worth sacrificing other utilities/talents. In regard to the voodoo trinket, i actually really like it, again sadly if youre going to go for a healing trinket you want to be going for blossom and tyrstone as blossom will heal 20-30 million in a whole mplus run. And tyrstone acts as an extra and safer cloudburst. I really hope this whole comment doesnt come across as shitting on you, i think its more of a nod to Blizzard or now Microsoft or whatever, need to make it so more than one build is actually viable. Because using the same build for 3/6/9 months is getting hella boring. I honestly came to this video excited to see a new build that was competitive, sadly i dont think this one is quite there. I really hope you continue to look into things like this, looks like a cool little build but unfortunately in my opinion its not quite there yet. Maybe with some resto shaman tuning it could be, and i mean that even if they nerf chain heal, this could be more competitive, but there is work to be done the developer end. Would love to hear your thoughts or any response if you actually see this comment :)
I appreciate the thoughts for sure, although I've heard the arguments against the build I'm proposing 100 times :) Here's what I'll say. Right now I'm pushing +25s and +26s with this build... I've done 6/8 dungeons at the 25 level and one 26 so far, mostly with put groups. I would challenge you to give this build a real try at the higher key levels and then see what you think :) I understand your arguments against the build, as I've heard for so many others, but I don't hear from anyone actually giving the build a try, having it potentially fail for them, then coming back to me and saying "hey Zuco, I really gave it a shot, but just didn't find success"... I can only speak from my experience, and so far in nearly every dungeon, it's working at the +25-26 level. :)
@ZucoWoW OK, I think that's fair, I'll give it a fair shake then in some keys next week. Got mythic raid tonight and SOD which I'm HYPED for. Thanks for taking the time to reply man
great video! i'd recommend it for newer shamans or people who'd like to do like 20s chill mode. this build is (heal) casting heavy and makes u lose A LOT of damage and buffed chain heal + cbt healing. playing around with this build (slightly modified) in raid can lead up to massive healing with little to no mana usage (look mythic smolderon logs) if someone likes shadowlands-necrolord style of play.
ever since i switched to Resurgence, my mana consumption drastically improved, and i like chain heal cause i don't have to care about range or anything in a really tight oh shit moment. smack it, and it will reach people. with the 4 set you can still maintain reservoir and riptide on people
This build slaps! I did a +16EB just to kick the tires and man it was a blast! get to do a lot more dps that's for sure! I'm going to do a few more runs and higher keys!
Great Video playing my shaman again after the longest time. Zuco... how do you show on the health bars when the tidal reservoir is up? which addon is that? thanks
My allied HP bars are just the Blizzard base UI. I've converted my Party Frames into Raid Frames at all times (even when I do dungeons), so maybe that's why you're seeing a difference. All I'm doing here is using the base Blizz UI with Raid Frames, and those Raid Frames will show when allies have the Tidal Res buff on them. :)
@ZucoWoW So I started playing my very undergeared Shaman yesterday with this build. Ilvl 435, and I was able to heal 18s on it. The only thing I really miss is having Stormkeeper. I feel like the higher keys you do, its really helpful to have such a DPS heavy burst cd for the little small guy packs that noone wants to pop a coolie on. It also combines nicely with AG. What would you recommend dropping for it? I've moved one point from torrent into stormkeeper so far, but the 10% initial heal seems quite beneficial for this build, especially with the upcoming buffs i would miss out on 15%. I would love to hear your suggestion. Great build!
Yeah, Torrent is the best choice and it's honestly fine, even with the upcoming buffs. You are casting Riptide sooo often that missing 6-10k on the upfront cast isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.
Just tried this out for the hell of it being new to resto shammy but I've healed since BC and have swapped mains multiple times. It's pretty solid for now having a clue. I was pushing around 110k hps with sub 500 ilvl. Not my monk but that could change with better gear and some practice. great build and pretty much ez mode for season 4 (yes it performs well with the s4 tier bonuses hst near 100% uptime +15% crit chance crit heals 220% vs 200%) around 40% of all healing was crits and my cr is 26% so definitely makes a huge difference
I would really appreaciate a video on this build or something similar in raids. Im running the chain heal build in raids because I just cant wrap my head around a riptide focused build there.
Im wondering what stats you are aiming for as a Resto. From what I've read it is crit and vers mainly when doing M+ but when I check other healers everyone has alot of mastery. So I am a bit confused!
I basically have Ele Shaman stats (Haste/Mastery), and surprisingly they work very well. I have 95% Mastery or something on Resto, and you can absolutely feel the healing increases as people start dying it dip below 50% HP. I will say this. For M+, you need to have some haste. Right now the damage patterns in M+ are WAY too fast and spikey and you have to be able to respond quickly. Having at least 20-25% haste is required in my experience.
U need to cap CRIT 40-42%, 17-20% hast, 15-20%vers then you will feel the real healing from the healing totem, on average per key M+ 20-24, the totem heals for 28-32 million total healing
@ZucoWoW do you recommend this build for us who are still gearing, no set pieces, still learning all the nuances? I don't get a ton of play time so gearing is painful right now. I am stuck in running normal dungeons/ LFR atm to grab what gear happens to drop for me. Thank you!
It def won't work as well without the new 4-piece, but it will still get the job done... If you're strapped for gear, I'd suggest doing the outdoor activities in the emerald dream and in the regular Dragon Isles. The Time Rift and Dreamsurge events give solid starting gear that should help you!
Sorry if someone already asked this but If I am getting into healing starting from low mythics. Is this maybe something I should wait on until I have my set that gives reservoir? I'm about half way through the video maybe I missed or it was not mentioned but just wondering if this is more of an endgame build.
@@ZucoWoW Hey! thanks for replying. I'm glad to hear that, I personally have not healed since maybe beginning of Shadowlands. I just came back recently and wanted to jump back into mythics. Personally even if I can comfortably do M10 I'd be happy xD
Just got back into WoW after a couple years and onto my resto shaman. Still gearing up. Would this work without a tier set? I was looking at talents and seen a passive healing build somewhere in there. T.i.A!!
It works without the tier set on lower key levels for sure... Anything below a 15, you're prob fine. Getting closer to 20+ you'll want the tier bonus for sure.
@@ZucoWoWno, it cannot proc from Primal Tide Core, Primordial Wave, or the tier set. Deeply rooted elements can only proc off your own casted Riptides and that’s it.
The exact stats are in the bottom left-ish of my screen (to the right of my face cam)... I believe my haste is 28%, Crit is around 36%, verse is around 11% and Mastery around 55%
With this build I could very easily heal 18-20 keys at 460 item level on Tyrannical-Incorp-Spiteful this week. I have a 3035 io tank main though so I know all the trash and boss mechanics, how to make good comps, how different tanks work, most routes, where to lust, what to kick and how to best use utilities, and I have timers on enemy nameplates so i can preemptively use stun totem and such; the average shaman may have a slightly harder experience but to be honest this build is easy and low maintenance. I love the Lava Burt - Acid Rain + Ancestral Guidance - Chain Lightning spam combo. Seriously the hardest thing about healing up to like +21 keys, is getting dps and tanks that can press their offensive and defensive buttons right. DPS defensives, the 4th affix.
@ZucoWoW i saw all the buffs resto is getting DIRECTLY buff this build and i wanted to aslo hear your opinion on it how good are the upcomming buffs ide love to see a folow up video after the 18th to see the power of this
I’ve been a huge fan of dropping CBT, so thank you for that. I was going to mention, I think Primal Tide Core is a bit overkill. I’ve found that I can have riptide rolling on most of the team pretty easily without it. Additionally, while I like earthliving weapon, taking the two points to buff it instead of the two points to buff all your healing for each riptide you have rolling is way better.
I think people consistently underestimate how strong Earthliving is. I'm not saying taking Undercurrent is bad, buffing all of your healing is def strong (although limited in M+ to +5%). But, my Earthliving procs are hitting people for 45-80k per tick! Each application of Earthliving lasts 15 seconds and the healing over time from Riptide can proc it. Earthliving combined with our Mastery can produce some surprising numbers, especially when you are pushing higher M+ and more healing is required. :)
I ran into this vid just today but it's been a pretty decent build! I do feel like I kinda get stuck when I need to pump higher amounts of HPS though. For example on WM 2nd boss, when the tank puts the boss in the fire. I feel like I just couldn't keep up with this build whereas my "regular" build would be able to keep up. Do you think this passive healing build has a lower ceiling or am i forgetting something?
It just takes some practice in my experience... Lots of keys, being thrown into lots of difficult situations... I just did a 23 Waycrest last night and on the 2nd boss, as soon as the tank stepped into the fire, I Spirit linked everyone. I also had 2 Healing Stream Totems down, Riptide on everyone and I popped Spirit Walkers Grace and used Healing Surge to triage people. Whenever there are moments that require a ton of AOE healing, you gotta use a big CD like AG, Spirit Link or Ascendance. You later that on top of the passive heals and it pumps so hard.
@@ZucoWoW Thanks for your reply! 23's are fine indeed, 24's as well but when I tried a 25 I felt like I just couldn't keep up. I'll stick to it for a while though since with my "regular" chain heal build, I can heal moments like that but I have issues on moments where I have to move and heal at the same time. Like the TotT boss from your example. It fixes all the issues I have run in to so far so I'm very happy that you made this video!
For M+, at least 30% Haste, then Crit or Verse is good. Verse is strong in M+ for survivability, but Crit is just insane in general because it's going to make damage or healing crit. The important thing is getting Haste to a comfortable point so you can respond in time. M+ damage is super spikey.
I have to admit, I use chainheal way too much, especially in raid and went oom at the start of phase 3 on fyrakk. In mythics I use it a lot too but I don’t go oom in them. I have had other shamans laugh because I use earthliving weapon but it works. I do need to get back to healing wave being my go to instead of chain so I am giving this build a go. I only go to keys at 17, 18 max tho so just average. I also use the trinket from fyrakk which actually performs really well. I look forward to trying it.
You can, but it won't perform as well... I mean, you can take the talents for sure, but you won't be able to push super high keys without the tier bonuses. They provide extra healing with Tidal Reservoir and the buff Riptide healing by 25%, which is nuts.
why loosing time doin healing wave and riptides and lots of clicks while for the same mana or even less and for we can top them all with 1 chain + we can do it faster with Chain and have time to do some dps etc.? it's borring but that's why it is meta.. I was playing like this at the beginning when i hit the 4p but after swaping to chain i hitted my M+ peak....
Certainly, there's no need to shun Chain Heal completely. It undeniably retains numerous practical applications, and even in a setup like this, there are instances where Chain Heal would be the most effective healing option. While it's commendable that we strive to explore alternatives and move away from builds centered around Chain Heal, outright dismissing its use just to make a point or due to personal aversion doesn't seem justified.
I wasn't when I recorded this... We were pushing some bigger keys and I opted for more healing. But you can absolutely take a point out of Torrent and put it into Stormkeeper.
LMAO when you say "screw it I'm using SLT here" xD That's actually the "right way" of using it! I tend not to use it because I keep waiting for the right moment to save my party, and sometimes that moment never comes.
i think it is always better to try to use SLT proactively rather than reactively, if you know its going to be a big pull like 1st pull in TOT you should be preparing to push it not waiting to push it
@@knfbnny well, as stated, I always "wait for the right moment" and end up most of the time not needing it. Of course there are specific moments where I do use it but in this build it seems it's more important due to not having the CH speed cleave
Nah, triage is just a word that means to prioritize aid. Like in a warzone where there might be multiple people who need help, but you need to determine who needs to nurse/doctor the most.
Not really, no... You need the tier bonus to make this work. :) Remember, you have 3 catalyst charges right now, so if you have gear in the right slot, you can turn that into tier right now. :)
@@Lunoxx1510 Chain Heal build is absolutely fine to get you started... If you're running Cloudburst Totem, I'd switch that to Living Stream. Get used to keeping riptides on everyone at all times and keeping Healing Stream Totems down nearly all the time. You can begin to use parts of the passive build without having the tier bonus. :)
I wonder how this build may work in Waycrest, especially on fort. The spikeyness of the healing in there is a different level, compared to most of the other dungeons. Only the bosses ( bosses 2 and 3)in everbloom come close.
Yep, I've done a bunch of Waycrsest's and it works well... Def some spikey moments, but it's important to remember that our healing gets buffed massively by our Mastery. As our allies lose hp, a single tick from a HST or Riptide can hit for 80k - 120k, which I've experienced multiple times now. It's very cool to watch those spells do their thing
I like different builds and I like Earthliving Weapon. For my low keys this is definitly viable. Dont know about high keys but that is not my concern atm. I really liked it so far and will try it for some time :)
Ok I tried it now for some lower keys cause I am not geared with my shaman atm. And first I really missed some talents and chain heal, but hell this is quite fun to play with :)
I love the video on the passive playstyle! But imo, you can play this way without sacrificing the points to powerful chain heals for oh shit moments. Earthliving is 3 points spent for less than 5% effective healing, and often are far from life saving, just efficient padding. Long way of saying you can play this way while still running the traditional minmax chain heal build, just adding HST and focusing on riptide / HW during luls, which should be done with any build
This is a decent noob friendly build, but to take earth living wep for 3 points over primordial is crazy! You are pressing healing wave all the time, the amount of healing you will get out of the extremely buffed aoe healing waves, plus the extra riptide is so much more then 7% of tickle healing… remember you even mention how spikey the damage is, having so many different tickle heals is not as good as a few more burst options.
It's not just "tickle healing"... My Earth living procs are hitting people for 40-80k+ per tick. That's 10-15% of people's max hp! It's a strong passive healing proc to help stabilize allies hp, buying you time to triage the situation. This build is just noob friendly, it's a strong build that can push keys. I'm doing +23s right now in some of the harshest keys possible right now. :)
I'm even a fan of kicking PWave and Healing Wave for SK and EWT (though you probably want Projection to ensure full value); it's hipsters but really quite strong; Surge is king and Shamans need to understand this - it's all about good triage and pumping CL/Acid Rain damage; let riptide and HST do the heavy lifting. Nice vid!
Not with this build! Make sure you lean on your passive healing and use Healing Wave as much as possible. Don't press Chain Heal at all, and only use Healing Surge when absolutely necessary. :)
It's because I'm in Ele Shaman gear, lol. That's my main spec for Shammy, so that's what I had. It's actually not bad at all... All of my spells hit extremely hard whenever an ally is below 50% hp... It's pretty cool :)
I’ve messed with this build in a raid. It’s meh. The gas pedal that is chain heal just blows it out of the water. I’m doing 200k hps bs heroic Smolderon with chain heal build. With this build, I did like 150k. It’s not bad but that umph that chain heal build has is nice
@@lohuune9627 lol... I say "Healing Stream Totem crit for 83k"... And yes, this is as much as a baseline Healing Surge for my current ilvl... Not including Mastery or a crit... So I'm still not sure what you're on about?

I appreciate the thoughts for sure, although I've heard the arguments against the build I'm proposing 100 times :)
Here's what I'll say. Right now I'm pushing +25s and +26s with this build... I've done 6/8 dungeons at the 25 level and one 26 so far, mostly with put groups.
I would challenge you to give this build a real try at the higher key levels and then see what you think :)
I understand your arguments against the build, as I've heard for so many others, but I don't hear from anyone actually giving the build a try, having it potentially fail for them, then coming back to me and saying "hey Zuco, I really gave it a shot, but just didn't find success"...
I can only speak from my experience, and so far in nearly every dungeon, it's working at the +25-26 level. :)
@ZucoWoW OK, I think that's fair, I'll give it a fair shake then in some keys next week. Got mythic raid tonight and SOD which I'm HYPED for. Thanks for taking the time to reply man
@@anthonyholmes9291 SoD is looking super fun! I hope you enjoy it! I've also got Mythic Smouldy tonight, should be a blast :)
@ZucoWoW SNAP only had about 20 pulls on him here's to the next 100 🤣
@@anthonyholmes9291 we are on 180 or something... So uh... Yeah... Buckle up! Rofl
Wow I love the look of the shoulders. Where did you get them the wolf shoulders. Love the video
Those are the new tier set bonus for season 3 in Dragonflight. :)
great video! i'd recommend it for newer shamans or people who'd like to do like 20s chill mode. this build is (heal) casting heavy and makes u lose A LOT of damage and buffed chain heal + cbt healing. playing around with this build (slightly modified) in raid can lead up to massive healing with little to no mana usage (look mythic smolderon logs) if someone likes shadowlands-necrolord style of play.
ever since i switched to Resurgence, my mana consumption drastically improved, and i like chain heal cause i don't have to care about range or anything in a really tight oh shit moment. smack it, and it will reach people. with the 4 set you can still maintain reservoir and riptide on people
Hey, great video! What is your transmorg helm/shoulders?
I believe it's either the Dragonflight Season 1 Raid Shoulders, or from BFA.
This build slaps! I did a +16EB just to kick the tires and man it was a blast! get to do a lot more dps that's for sure! I'm going to do a few more runs and higher keys!
love this passive build zuco. Great job sir
This is awesome, thank you! What abilities do you recommend to take off for weekly affixes, like if I need Hex?
This week you need Hex for Incorp. That's the main change. Some dungeons like Waycrest Manor, you'll also need Curse dispel.
@@ZucoWoWWhat talent should I remove to get hex though?
Also if I need curse and hex
hey great video! i cant really tell from the video but which spell do you usually use nature swiftness on?
Healing Rain is a good one. But most often I use it on Healing Surge during moments when everyone is dying. :)
I would really appreaciate a video on this build or something similar in raids. Im running the chain heal build in raids because I just cant wrap my head around a riptide focused build there.
Yep, I'm going to work on this build in raid this weekend! :)
Does this work in raid, I'm new.
Yep it does! Check a few videos after this one was posted on the channel. I do a video showing this build in raid!
I got AotC with this build on my first pull, doing 75-80% of the HPS of other healers 15-20 ilvls higher than me. It works! 😅
see this is a cool way to play resto shaman
@ZucoWoW do you recommend this build for us who are still gearing, no set pieces, still learning all the nuances? I don't get a ton of play time so gearing is painful right now. I am stuck in running normal dungeons/ LFR atm to grab what gear happens to drop for me. Thank you!
It def won't work as well without the new 4-piece, but it will still get the job done... If you're strapped for gear, I'd suggest doing the outdoor activities in the emerald dream and in the regular Dragon Isles. The Time Rift and Dreamsurge events give solid starting gear that should help you!
@@ZucoWoW thank you for taking the time to reply! I appreciate your feedback and your video is super helpful. Happy New Year! Cheers!
Sorry if someone already asked this but If I am getting into healing starting from low mythics. Is this maybe something I should wait on until I have my set that gives reservoir? I'm about half way through the video maybe I missed or it was not mentioned but just wondering if this is more of an endgame build.
You can use this build even without the tier set all the way up to +18s... After that id say you need the set for sure.
@@ZucoWoW Hey! thanks for replying. I'm glad to hear that, I personally have not healed since maybe beginning of Shadowlands. I just came back recently and wanted to jump back into mythics. Personally even if I can comfortably do M10 I'd be happy xD
hey, thx for the guide, is there a different Stat Priority with this build ?
Just got back into WoW after a couple years and onto my resto shaman. Still gearing up. Would this work without a tier set? I was looking at talents and seen a passive healing build somewhere in there.
T.i.A!!
It works without the tier set on lower key levels for sure... Anything below a 15, you're prob fine. Getting closer to 20+ you'll want the tier bonus for sure.
In pvp ive always opted for healing that can happen when im in cv, and healing stream and earthliving always helped
fresh way of playing sham thank you for the vid
about ascendance procs, can it happen with the talent you take at the bottom or 4p set ?
Yes it can proc from Primal Tidal Core :)
@@ZucoWoWno, it cannot proc from Primal Tide Core, Primordial Wave, or the tier set. Deeply rooted elements can only proc off your own casted Riptides and that’s it.
wats ur stats look liek for crit and mastery haste and such while in resto
The exact stats are in the bottom left-ish of my screen (to the right of my face cam)... I believe my haste is 28%, Crit is around 36%, verse is around 11% and Mastery around 55%
Can this build be used for freshly dinged 70s? Or is the 4-set or specific stat levels required?
Same question!
Does this work on lower keys? What's the minimum level you'd go with it?
Yeah it will absolutely work in any lower key. There's no minimum level where it doesn't work! :)
Im just right now rotated to Shamy Heal.
And im afraid always healing high keys.
But this build is amazing ❤❤ ty so much.
Kinda wish we could take cloudburst and healing stream ha. I enjoy both.
Do you have a new version of this build for TWW?
@ZucoWoW i saw all the buffs resto is getting DIRECTLY buff this build and i wanted to aslo hear your opinion on it how good are the upcomming buffs ide love to see a folow up video after the 18th to see the power of this
Yep, I'm gonna do a video next week once the buffs are in. :)
I see you running high haste mastery is that on purpose? Is that better for this build over crit vers?
How are you guys tracking Tidal Reservoir? Using Vuhdo and can't seem to get it to track.
I just have the base game raid frames and it shows up on everyone's frames for me.
It tracks in the base UI raid frames
I swapped from Rsham to HPal because I can't stand cloudburst gameplay. I might try this out.
tried to import this build i get a error saying trying to import a out of date build
I just fixed it. Try it again and let me know if it works
@@ZucoWoW also the guaranteed procc is nice
What stats should I be aiming for with this build?
For M+, at least 30% Haste, then Crit or Verse is good. Verse is strong in M+ for survivability, but Crit is just insane in general because it's going to make damage or healing crit.
The important thing is getting Haste to a comfortable point so you can respond in time. M+ damage is super spikey.
@@ZucoWoW think you could do one for raids? I'm really new to shaman and even newer to healing. I really appreciate the quick response.
@@slowga4215 Here is a video I did with this build for raid! :) ua-cam.com/video/FPo2u0Dkgt4/v-deo.htmlsi=EEZOOvIcaWkujZdt
Zuco can i do this without 4 piece?
You can, but it won't perform as well... I mean, you can take the talents for sure, but you won't be able to push super high keys without the tier bonuses. They provide extra healing with Tidal Reservoir and the buff Riptide healing by 25%, which is nuts.
What talents should I remove if I need to take hex and/or improved curse?
why loosing time doin healing wave and riptides and lots of clicks while for the same mana or even less and for we can top them all with 1 chain + we can do it faster with Chain and have time to do some dps etc.? it's borring but that's why it is meta..
I think a lot of these newer resto shamans are spamming chain instead of just using it when hightide is up @@supersimme
Seems cool, gonna try it now.
Wait you’re not running stormkeeper in m+?!? That’s wild.
I wasn't when I recorded this... We were pushing some bigger keys and I opted for more healing. But you can absolutely take a point out of Torrent and put it into Stormkeeper.
LMAO when you say "screw it I'm using SLT here" xD
That's actually the "right way" of using it!
Is this good for raids?
Yep! Check the videos right after this one. There is a video where I use this build in raid. :)
Cool vid dude! 👍
is there a similar one for raids?

Looks intresting will try it out but defo gonna go with much more vers in m+
Worst part abouy minf bender when it hits same guy with flameshock that you just healed through
I’m new to resto shaman. What do you mean by triage healing? Is it a combo?
Nah, triage is just a word that means to prioritize aid. Like in a warzone where there might be multiple people who need help, but you need to determine who needs to nurse/doctor the most.
Is this playable without the setbonus? - would be great :D dont like the chainheal thingi
Not really, no... You need the tier bonus to make this work. :)
Remember, you have 3 catalyst charges right now, so if you have gear in the right slot, you can turn that into tier right now. :)
Thanks for the quick answer - just started out today. Any build advice for low m+ keys? or just the chain heal build? @@ZucoWoW
Thanks man! Have a great day :)@@ZucoWoW
I had to sustain more hps on the last trash pack in Rise on a 15 than on the squid boss in a 22 tyr. Crazy.
@ZucoWow Its a fun build I literally just alternate totems, AG. totem, spirit link. totems. The ethereal form then repeat. Need better trinks though
A raid video would be greatly appreciated
Yep! Working on it. :)
I like different builds and I like Earthliving Weapon.
For my low keys this is definitly viable. Dont know about high keys but that is not my concern atm.
I really liked it so far and will try it for some time :)
Ok I tried it now for some lower keys cause I am not geared with my shaman atm.
And first I really missed some talents and chain heal, but hell this is quite fun to play with :)
no healing tide?
Not in M+... In raid for sure!
How is this in mythic raids?
I love the video on the passive playstyle! But imo, you can play this way without sacrificing the points to powerful chain heals for oh shit moments. Earthliving is 3 points spent for less than 5% effective healing, and often are far from life saving, just efficient padding. Long way of saying you can play this way while still running the traditional minmax chain heal build, just adding HST and focusing on riptide / HW during luls, which should be done with any build
You are forgetting about deeply rooted elements, which is giving him Ascendance procs which is adding to every heal he does by a LOT
I tried it but ended up more casting then with the main build. i guess my stats are not good enough as i am optimised on haste master for ehnahcer :D
He was using haste/mast in the video.
I like it! I tired and i like it!
How i played shaman last 5 expansions
Puh I don't think any build can come close to chain heal at the moment - why make it unnecessarily difficult? :D
Yes it’s for sure good enough for 23s! And it’s fun as hell build. Just think it will start falling behind in 24-25-26 level keys
Nice vid!
wtf is EWT? iassume SK is tormkeeper

My mana just drains so fast!
Not with this build! Make sure you lean on your passive healing and use Healing Wave as much as possible. Don't press Chain Heal at all, and only use Healing Surge when absolutely necessary. :)
95% Mastery?!?! least favored stat and you took it all XD
Your healing surge only heals for 83k ? Huh?
