I love when you walk around at 1am and everyone is sleeping.. its like you are all alone on a deserted ship and only the music from the children's play-area is on repeat!! spooky but nice!!
Always enjoy your travels and dining !
This. I don’t know if they stay up late or get up special. But I love the 1am walk about.
Ah, the old see-food diet. You see food and you eat it! I was surprised at the lack of curry! 🙂
No way could there ever be a diet on this channel. Bushyboy Oz.
lol nice
Not so sure there was no curry. There was an awfully saucy bowl on the second round. 😂
I didn’t see any saucy bowl🙄
The french fry potatoes look delicious! Rich, golden brown and crispy!
Haven't seen one of your videos in a while but I'm glad to be back
A red packet for you.
Happy Lunar New Year. May you and your family bless with good health, happiness and wealth.
Also wish your channels continue to grow grow grow grow ❤❤
I’m absolutely blown away by the amount of Super Thanks you sent! I’m truly grateful for the blessings and your incredible generosity. I hope you have a wonderful Lunar New Year!
I really enjoy going on these adventures with you, I get to see places and experience things that otherwise I’d never get to see, plus thanks to you, I had Japanese golden curry for the first time and I really liked it. Thank you for sharing these videos!
My dream is to visit Japan and your videos are both helpful and soothing. Thank you for your content!
I did one year ago, by myself. it was one of the best things I've ever done. I am really really hoping to go back and try a Sunflower ferry trip because of these videos! WHEN you go, every day will be one of the best days of yoru life.
夢は夢のままで。
The variety of food offered was really impressive. Hard to beat simple food prepared well.
I'm not going to lie. These rooms are a lot nicer than most Marriotts I've stayed at recently.
Another great video! I love how you always provide detail, not just the places but the food. BTW my son laughed at the one small piece of broccoli for a salad 😂 that's about how much salad he eats. And of course your sense of humor: the water bottle was very obedient😊
I cannot convey how much I have learned about japanese food from this channel. I even learned how to cook curry!
Happy Lunar New Year buddy! Your videos give me a peaceful window into a world of travel I can only imagine, but I feel like people take for granted how great you are as a documentary filmmaker. You do such a wonderful job methodically documenting your journeys, but you heighten what could be run-of-the-mill travelogues with such a light, elegant touch, and a wonderful sense of humor and humility. You've brought me more confort than you can possibly know. Sending a few dollars is the absolute least I can do. Some curry on me. ♥️
Thank you for your kind words! I’ll have a big curry :)
Amusing that they were playing 'Auld Lang Syne' when you were showing the entry to the cabin. And the English announcements will be very useful for the people you've convinced to take ferry trips while in Japan, ;-)
I hope to be one of those people!
One note, outside of sumo wressers, I have never seen an over weight Japanese person. Whilst your diet is very different to me, your country is very healthy. I enjoy watching what you eat.
That was a wonderful video. A decent price for a nice 12 hour ferry trip, a lovely bedroom suite with 2 meals. Thank you Solo Travel! I always enjoy tagging along on your ferry trips.
Your videos are always entertaining! I live vicariously through your lens! Thank you for your work!
Hello my friend wonderful video! I love it when u say your on a diet and go back for a refill, the food looked delicious.Thank you ,sending love from Australia ❤
What a wonderful way to start the week. Hope all is well. Hugs from Phoenix Az. ❤
Finally, some luxury on a ship again!
Missed this video just watched it loved it ❤ love from Rockingham NC USA
It's nice that they play the music from The Poseidon Adventure, where the ship gets capsized by a Tsunami. 😲😲
I always have to be eating when I watch your videos STJ. The food makes me wish I was visiting Japan again and eating the amazing, tasty food there. Thank you for another beautiful video!
Very nice suite, I love the carpet, luxurious. Viewing room lounge is a good idea.
FIRST
Also this is just what I need right now to help me go to sleep ❤
Thank you Solo Travel Japan for another great video ! I always enjoy your videos, but when I see that there is a new ferry video, it makes me really happy. I would love to travel on those ferries, because I like traveling on water, and because they seem to be so unique. Unfortunately, I get very badly seasick when there is just a tiny wave, and when this starts, no matter what I do, I continue to be severly seasick. So, I very much enjoy "traveling" by ferry around Japan, whilst watching your videos.
Your suite A looks very comfortable, and bigger than a business hotel room in many places in Japan. Dinner buffet looked very tasty and the plate with the 9 different comparments is a great idea. The breakfast buffet looked less inviting (or you took items that seem less tasty to me). I would have definitely take a bath in the public bath.
Btw: In Switzerland, when the food is quite salty, we say that the chef / the home cook is in love. So if you are cooking dinner for friends for example, and the food is maybe a little bit too salty, your friends will ask you if you have found a new love 🙂.
Your cabin was definitely cozy and you had the perfect spot to see the bridge too! The steam arising from the breakfast miso soup looked appetizing especially on a cold winter morning. I could just imagine how satisfying that soup was as I appreciate a hearty breakfast.
I like how "Auld Lang Syne" was playing when you went into your room.
I love the carpets
Great video! Color of the pine bath salts reminded me of coloring Easter eggs!
This is a new one, and only 9 minutes old! Time to settle in to watch.
That was a nice sized cabin, it could be a "Studio Apartment" on land. The art work was lovely in the hallways that added a touch of class, the decor in the cabin wasn't shabby either. Like you said only the bathroom looked out of date compared to the rest. So pleasent and safe travels, my Friend.
Highly appreciate that you give every view a bit of time. That way you can sense the atmosphere of a place. Also when information is displayed like for example which payment systems are accepted. Too many videos out there that are rushing around like they were an action film.
So relaxing. Thank you😌✨️
I enjoy that recurring broccoli on your food choices, 12:15 and 24:25 😊
Good day STJ 😊 I sense you had a very good energy in this video. Glad you enjoyed the trip 🤗 Yes, that morning was beautiful, everything looked calm and welcoming 😊 Thank you for sharing 🤗🚢
That really is a lovely suite and the food looked pretty good!! The best part of these videos for me is seeing the food choices and what kind of room you choose 😊
I am only three hours old. This is a record for me!! Thank you for the journey my friends!!!
That dinner was huge. I love how much protein was in it. I'm glad you were able to finish it all. I would have been disappointed if you hadn't.
I love your videos they are so informative and fun!
Ooh! I've done this one! Stayed in that exact room, in fact. I hoped to get the Japanese/Western suite but it was taken before I had a chance to get it 😭
They had a special plan for foreign tourists that included breakfast and dinner at a discounted price.
I think that night was the best I slept in my entire Japan trip 😂
They have added English announcements because you keep showing American tourists what they are missing lol. I must admit I want to take one or two ferry rides now and see the fastest strait and bridge lol. Have a great day, I always enjoy seeing your videos.
You really are on a diet. You ate very little and never even searched for curry. You also ate lots of vegetables. Lovely suite. Calm voyage. Great ❤❤❤
one entire piece of broccoli!
@loosilu Ah yes, salad😂
another wonderful ferry ride! Thanks for posting
Wow, such a lot of room! Truly a suite.
It seems a waste ….only 12 hrs. Should be longer
I love your vids, please travel more in summer, i understand fares are less off season, you have a beautiful country, please show us more of your summer, peace and best Karma to you
Happy New Year STJ Thanks!
I love watching your travels. It's the only way I'll see other places and cultures. I'm not a traveler. I like to watch from my recliner! Thank you for the video from Indiana in the US.
You had a good view of that suspension bridge from your suite 😉
10:33 Dude, you're making me hungry with that meal. It looks so delicious!
nice trip
No dieting, I love when you eat!😊
Room is spacious and food looked good. Enjoy your trip. Fridge Locker? For your travelling kimchis.
So happy to experience this with you! Thanks for the trip.
Looks like a mid tier ferry, but that food spread at the start looked very nice.
Lovely
Another great video, thank you!
I see you call broccoli "salad" all the time lol. If you would like to have it the best American way, if you get a chance, dip it in some melted cheese sauce like you would dip tofu in miso soup or sushi in soy sauce. It is much better that way in my humble opinion. :)
Ooo a ferry trip. Fun 😊
Awesome adventure.
Wishes you a very Happy Lunar New Year. 😊
Very enjoyable.
Awesome as Always ❤
Great trip. I forgot last time you onboard the Meimon Taiyo Ferry, but it's great you have chance to try Suites Class. Even you are on diet, you can still manage to eat 2 set of dinner.
Thanks for the ferry trip. Very nice.
Actually night time is a great time to enjoy the view but you have to get away from the ship board lights. Up on the bridge and some of the crew only areas up topside help. There maybe some darker area on the ferries you take that have some darker areas to enjoy.
The Coast Guard cutter I was on usually ran at night with only our required navigation lights only and sometimes completely blacked out. I remember times up by Greenland on clear nights where the milky Way was so clear it felt like I could reach out and touch it.
Очень жду твоих новых гастрономических видео :)
Thanks for sharing! I would be nice if you also shared the location and design for the various souvenir stamps you can get in the train stations and ferry terminals.
Complimentary water. When you crack the top open, a pre-recorded voice plays and tells you how nice you look.
I love a STJ ferry video ! ❤
Another great video!
My friend I wish I had it made like you I would do the same thing travel hopefully one day but until that day I'm going to enjoy your adventures much love be safe have fun for me live it up ❤
English announcements help but i don't expect it to be perfect. Neat room
Seafaring nation 🚢🌊😺🌻👋🇯🇵
Beautiful ❤
It always makes me laugh whenever you call your one small piece of broccoli salad.
Sweet
Arigato 💜🤘
The bathroom looked as though it was designed 24 years ago NOT 4 years ago!
nice room. I missed the curry !?!? 😅
I should have known better. Never, never start watching a Solo Travel Japan video on empty stomach. I ... Need ..... Food! Now. 🤪😅
Loved the suite !! I live through your videos , while I am sick there is no travel. Thank you ❤
I do like your diet :-)
All you can eat? That is a dangerous challenge to make with solo Japan travel on board ;)
Wait, why does that extra empty bowl at 16:11 look like it had had curry in it?
❤❤❤
Your breakfast looks exactly like your lunch and dinner.
"The restaurant is closing", yep , that's what happens i suppose when you have single handily ate everything in the restaurant. I think when you started spreading wasabi and soya sauce on the chairs ready to tuck in was the final straw for the restaurant manager .
Меня умиляет эта одинокая брокколи 😅
9:24 that's /not/ fancy???? that's like fancier than any hotel bathroom ive seen!!
And the curry? Didn't see that listed in the description, just the empty bowl! 😂
That green thing you label a salad is a Broccoli Floret. A vegetable. Just saying
He knows
I wanted to replicate one of your famous ferry trips on my next trip to Japan, but then I realized that there is no private bath unless I book the Royal or a Deluxe Suite. I always feel so guilty about doing that. What if there is a family that has been waiting years for a nice vacation, and I (1 person) booked their double queen bed suite? I don't want to be that guy. So until I change my mind, I will not be taking any ferries in Japan, and just staying in Hachioji.
If not for all the hand rails, this one would feel the most Iike a hotel.
you gave them so much publicity that the increase of overseas customers made english announcements necessary UwU
16:09 Uh....there's a mysterious bowl heretofore unmentioned by our intrepid host that looks suspiciously like maybe possibly curry.
You didn’t see anything.
@@SoloTravelJapan Curryouser and Curryouser, cried Alice.
10:14 How many single use slippers have you accumulated over the years? 🙂
Nice video though I prefer more on the ship, less on the food.
Is that Captain Harlock that I see at Kokura station?
"I should go to the restaurant now." - We'd all be very disappointed if you didn't.😁
I was gifted a tamagoyaki pan!
Please excuse my ignorance, why is there two beds in a tiny cabin? i realize that some senior married people end up like this, very sad, anyway, love your vid, be safe
I missed it, was this trip on New Years? Why was the overhead playing Auld Lang Syne?
So, what do people normally put in the refrigerated locker? Travel cheese? Beer? 🧐
👋✌️
