I know this will sound cringe but thanks again for these videos. You can't imagine how much your videos help people mentally like me. 😊Keep up the great job 👌
This does not sound cringe at all. I found these videos during lockdown here in the states. Virtually traveling around Japan via Ferry is one of the things that kept me sane during those times. Much love to you.
His videos are so informative and also just so relaxing. He really knows how to work his camera. It feels like it is you walking around. Also like very much that he avoids filming above maybe someone's ankles. One wonders if that is a cultural thing.
My husband and I watched this during supper. He said he likes how you show things from your view and said it was very relaxing. I tell him now and then that I would like for us to travel to Japan someday.
Thank you for your content. I appreciate your hard work in making these and just wanted to let you know how much this content has gotten me through some tough days. Both my parents recently passed, and then a year later, my best friend of 25 years lost her fight with cancer. I was a mess. Your videos helped me center myself and find a place of peace during the chaos I was living in. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! ❤❤❤
I lived in Hokkaido for six years and would often take motorcycle trips down south on these ferries. Thank you for giving me a brief glimpse back at that time!
A good timing for the ship to depart and arrive in respect of getting a decent nights sleep and arriving at a good hour to allow an unrushed breakfast and a shower before disembarking. Pity the view was clouded over for you to see the sun rise. I enjoy these videos, thank you.
I'm so glad the food was more to your liking on this trip! A happy belly makes a happy human! I laughed so hard at "energy source" my partner came and said "Oh! does STJ-san have another adventure"
Cool that's the straw hat crew flag from One Piece on that MOL Ferry at the beginning 😂 I love Japan for that ❤ thank you very much for these ferry trips, showing us your country and your food tours 🫶
Thank you for making these videos. I always enjoy watching these and seeing so many different things. I also wanted to say, thank you for showing the signs so often. I'm still learning to read Japanese, so I'm very slow as I sound things out. But I really appreciate that you show the signs in so many places, which lets me pause the video and work on reading things that aren't in my lessons, workbooks, or learn-to-read books!
I wish we had extensive ferry service as you do in Japan. Just having the trucks in the ferry would save wear and tear on the roads (and less pollution too!) Thanks for posting, as always.
Nothing is more relaxing after a day of work than having a drink and watching a Solo Travel Japan video. Very therapeutic and interesting to see what you’ll eat next with your curry rice
Nice video. I’m am coming to Japan this weekend for one month. I will sail this route, but with Ishikari. Also looking forward to a voyage on ferry sunflower murasaki, and to hear the song! You helped me decide to come to Japan.
I have never been to Japan or tasted any variety of curry, but, thanks to you, I can recognize Japanese curry on sight. May your energy source always be tasty.
I enjoy your well-done documentary videos. It is a pleasure to see how things are well organized in Japan. I am just a bit puzzled how it comes that the ships are so empty. I am looking forward to your future videos.
Thank you for pausing on signs. I'm learning Japanese. Today I'm going to practice the word 食器 which was on the table card during your meal. ありがとうございます
I have watched your videos for so long now, when I started planning my current trip I really looked to your videos. Last week I took the MOL Ferry Sapporo from Oarai to Tomakomai thanks to your great video from last year (I believe?) then took the bullet train from Hakodate to Sendai a few days ago. Pleases me greatly to know I may have crossed paths with you and didn’t know it.
I have been watching your channels for a while but have never commented. I love what you do and your sense of humour, it really makes me want to add Japan to my bucket list, so many interesting places to visit. Keep the content coming. All the best from the UK
I was looking at your breakfast and noticed the extra white bowl at the 25:16 mark which looked like there was curry in it🤔 I was wondering why you said, “That is all…”🤣🤣🤣
I like how when he showed up the curry its title was energy source. It is important for Solo-san to always if possible to have curry in his travels as many times as possible as he had it for dinner and for breakfast😂
*Of course* there was a curry... I'm starting to think that the thing I most look forward on STJ-san's vlogs is the "I might have a little bit more" bit... right before coming back with another _huge_ serving 😲😄 (I would do exactly the same thing at a _baikingu_ , by the way) After watching this one I am left with one pressing question, though: in which way can a forward-facing illuminated window possibly "interfere with navigation"?... (I think "There might be some $hit going-on at the bow that we don't want you to see" would be a more accurate message 🙈😁)
Great trip. Correct me if I Wrong, this Ferry route actually Hokkaido (Tomakomai) - Sendai - Nagoya, but you only take half of the route, which is still nice to enjoy all facilities onboard. Overall nice cabin and food, but sadly cloudy weather on a daytime.
I have these problems with curtains too. Ive slept without curtains twice cause i didnt realize there were blinds with a hidden button to operate somewhere...
I know this will sound cringe but thanks again for these videos. You can't imagine how much your videos help people mentally like me. 😊Keep up the great job 👌
Not cringe at all!!! Sending kind thoughts...
I agree… it’s relaxing for me too

Yes ! Me Too !! But that so-called First Class is So Scary and Cheap looking, it's Horrifying enough to put a tail spin on someone 😂

I love how its not even called curry anymore, its now just "energy source" 😂
Thanks for always travelling and eating 💜🇯🇵
I lived in Hokkaido for six years and would often take motorcycle trips down south on these ferries. Thank you for giving me a brief glimpse back at that time!
Lol I enjoy that the one sunflower ferry has the Strawhat pirate symble painted on it ( at 3:38 )
Well spotted! Strawhat crew with the Sunflower theme song sounds like a great voyage🌻
I can’t explain it but there is something satisfying about watching this.
Now i'm not accusing you of also getting curry rice for breakfast but that extra dish at 25:12 is kinda suspicious Solo-san 😂
A good timing for the ship to depart and arrive in respect of getting a decent nights sleep and arriving at a good hour to allow an unrushed breakfast and a shower before disembarking. Pity the view was clouded over for you to see the sun rise. I enjoy these videos, thank you.
I totally get your sense of humor, you often makes me laugh out loud. “The lotus root is alive!” 😂 Thanks for the great videos! ❤🇨🇦
Baskin-Robbins vending machine omg 😱🍦
I'm so glad the food was more to your liking on this trip! A happy belly makes a happy human!
I laughed so hard at "energy source" my partner came and said "Oh! does STJ-san have another adventure"
Solo san you spoil us with all your trips. But I do miss the Glow sticks and Staff waving goodbye. Is it just a Sunflower thing. ?????😊
The "Curry Energy" made me laugh, and as always, love the fashion socks. 🧦
Thanks for taking us with you on your travels.
🕊️❤️🎶
素敵な船。ひまわりの歌が懐かしいです。
I love your sense of humor.thank you for the videos.

Thanks for bringing me along. I knew there would be curry in there somewhere. 😊
Thanks STJ, your your cuts or transitions are getting more cinematographic. Even on a rainy day, I enjoy your company with us!
I'm hungry now. And craving some curry... That room looked very nice!
Thanks for making so many of these, they are incredible relaxing videos.

Thank you Solo for another fun adventure on one of your ferries. I look forward to traveling vicariously through you and your camera.
Comfortable accommodations and curry too! That's what I call smooth sailing.
I enjoyed it very much. So nice to travel with you!
There's something so relaxing about these videos. I love 'em.
Nice video. I’m am coming to Japan this weekend for one month. I will sail this route, but with Ishikari. Also looking forward to a voyage on ferry sunflower murasaki, and to hear the song! You helped me decide to come to Japan.
Your videos are exactly what I would be exploring if I were on that voyage. Thank you!
As always, thank you for showing us all the food!
Let's hear it for curry rice!!!!
I love the perfect shade of blue everywhere.
I have never been to Japan or tasted any variety of curry, but, thanks to you, I can recognize Japanese curry on sight. May your energy source always be tasty.
❤ your adventures. Japan is amazing. 😊
I like the One Piece pirate flag on the MOL Ferry to Oarai.
Teet rentouttavia videoita👍 Terveisiä Suomesta 🇫🇮
Another wonderful adventure. Thank you. Perfect food choices. Myself, I enjoy the rain.
I love your videos and the food is always enticing. Can't wait to go to Japan next year and experience one for myself
I enjoy your well-done documentary videos. It is a pleasure to see how things are well organized in Japan. I am just a bit puzzled how it comes that the ships are so empty. I am looking forward to your future videos.
I love your videos . I find them relaxing. Like I get a personal tour of what’s going on in Japan. Educational also.
I've not seen this ship before. It's quite nice! Lots to do onboard. Nice food variety, too!
I giggled at 'energy source' which looks like rice with brown gravy to me, but also looks delicious.
Thanks for sharing your experiences. You have a good appetite 🙏🌈🎈💕
Thank you for pausing on signs. I'm learning Japanese. Today I'm going to practice the word 食器 which was on the table card during your meal.

Nice trip,delicious food
I love looking at the food!
Thank you for the blueberry smile 😺
DOMO SOLO 🙏 GREAT TRIP 💚💚💚
Your camera takes beautiful vids. Perfect quality.
This was a fun one, that ship looked so nice! As did all the food. Thanks for always taking us with you ❤
Very nice. I'm smiling like the yogurt.
A interesting journey, I feel the salad was only a token gesture for dinner, but as always thank you for sharing your journey
I have watched your videos for so long now, when I started planning my current trip I really looked to your videos. Thanks again for your trips you calm my mind and I can go around the world with you and never leave my room thank you
Sweet! This is my Sunday night ritual. I do want you to have an organized tour. Ferries and food (like your other channel). I'm game.
I have been watching your channels for a while but have never commented. I love what you do and your sense of humour, it really makes me want to add Japan to my bucket list, so many interesting places to visit. Keep the content coming. All the best from the UK
an extra (allegedly) curry rice bowl magically appeared at breakfast 😆.
always enjoy your videos and narrative style, keep it up, STJ 🙌
Really enjoyed this, Suit! 😊
I absolutely love your videos. Thank you for sharing your trips
I'm taking the same route in December! Your videos help me out so much!
I really like your humor ❤️
A nice little cruise. 😊 That roast pork looked a tad pink, I hope you didn't get sick.
Enjoyable as always! ❤️👍🏻
Thanks for another beautiful video!
New subcriber here. I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing content like this. 🥰👏👍🏻
Thank you. Food looked good this time❤
You're enjoying it. 😊
11:28 - LMAO! It does! I can almost hear Also Sprach Zarathustra playing in the background.
I was looking at your breakfast and noticed the extra white bowl at the 25:16 mark which looked like there was curry in it🤔 I was wondering why you said, “That is all…”🤣🤣🤣
I really love see your videos jeje its awsome and beatifull
No staff waving it off with lightsabers?
Surely thats against a law or something
I like how when he showed up the curry its title was energy source. It is important for Solo-san to always if possible to have curry in his travels as many times as possible as he had it for dinner and for breakfast😂
The food looks good this trip👍🏻🎉
I always have the most fun when you take First Class trips. Thanks for the video! :)
Looks like a nice calm sailing a pity about the weather
Just watched a video of Sendai being destroyed by the Big Earthquake/tsunami. Can't even tell now.
It is a lovely ship with the soft color scheme. The food looked amazing, and I wish I could try that pork. 😊 Thanks for taking us along.
Hello from England….
Excellent !! Very enjoyable. Thank you 😌
Awesome
Beautiful ❤
Do you think you could ever get a tour of the truck driver/staff side of these ferries? I feel this would be very interesting and different.
I made Energy Source for dinner tonight and thought of you...🍜✌🤟
Thank you for another great video, can you please explain why do the curtains have to be closed at night, I have noticed this on a lot of your videos.
*Of course* there was a curry... I'm starting to think that the thing I most look forward on STJ-san's vlogs is the "I might have a little bit more" bit... right before coming back with another _huge_ serving 😲😄 (I would do exactly the same thing at a _baikingu_ , by the way)

@25:12 *Hold on a minute* ... Where did that empty curry bowl come from? You're funny. Thanks STJ-san 🙏
Sorry about the weather for you but I still enjoy your videos.
Great trip. Correct me if I Wrong, this Ferry route actually Hokkaido (Tomakomai) - Sendai - Nagoya, but you only take half of the route, which is still nice to enjoy all facilities onboard. Overall nice cabin and food, but sadly cloudy weather on a daytime.
25:13 You can't fool me with that empty curry rice bowl, the evidence is right there! 🍛🧐
Any time he insists that it's "only" what he got, the curry bowl is there... hiding.
I have these problems with curtains too. Ive slept without curtains twice cause i didnt realize there were blinds with a hidden button to operate somewhere...
I'm sorry the rain ruined it a little for you but for me I find watching the rain through a window to be so relaxing, I would have loved it.
21:10 The thicker curtains are automatic, but the sheer ones are not? 🤔
I saw that sneaky sneak at breakfast…😂
Do the truck drivers dine in a separate area?
'Energy source'. :-)
Do the curtains have to be closed if your lights are off? Why? Just curious as to the reasoning. Love your videos.
How did you manage to operate the auto curtains in the room? Was there a switch or remote control?
Yes!!!
First class 😮
