Original, demo, live, accoustic..... This song is The Perfection.
how did you forget the best version from Reanimation
muito triste em saber que essa voz se foi e n vai voltar nunca mas...
Best song
@@codelingmusic4559live in Texas too
sadly there's no released demo version of this song (Harmonic song), unless if you're referring to the studio finals unmastered version (titled The Cure For Mr Hahn's Itch)
It hurts like hell when the same person who saved my mental health couldn't save his own.
Rest in Peace, Legend
Он просто был выше тебя, потому и спас тебя, будь выше его, слабого поступка, будет все хорошо!!.

My is Papercut and one step closer. But this song is great tho.
Top song
Hybrid theory is, and forever will be truly phenomenal.
Totally agree 🙌
Definitely the best nu-metal album for sure. Btw listen to Blindspott. They are similar.

[lyrics]
I've lied to you
The same way that I always do
This is the last smile
That I'll fake for the sake of being with you
Everything falls apart
Even the people who never frown eventually break down
The sacrifice of hiding in a lie
Everything has to end
You'll soon find we're out of time left to watch it all unwind)
The sacrifice is never knowing
Why I never walked away
Why I played myself this way
Now I see your testing me pushes me away
Why I never walked away
Why I played myself this way
Now I see your testing me pushes me away
I've tried like you
To do everything you wanted too
This is the last time
I'll take the blame for the sake of being with you
Everything falls apart
Even the people who never frown eventually break down
The sacrifice of hiding in a lie
Everything has to end
You'll soon find we're out of time left to watch it all unwind)
The sacrifice is never knowing
Why I never walked away
Why I played myself this way
Now I see your testing me pushes me away
Why I never walked away
Why I played myself this way
Now I see your testing me pushes me away
We're all out of time, this is how we find how it all unwinds
The sacrifice of hiding in a lie
We're all out of time, this is how we find how it all unwinds
The sacrifice is never knowing
Why I never walked away
Why I played myself this way
Now I see your testing me pushes me away
Why I never walked away
Why I played myself this way
Now I see your testing me pushes me away
Pushes me away
Bc thats what heros do
PUSHES ME AWAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Thank you so much!
Where are My hero
My favorite Linkin Park song.
A underrated song from the album.
Absolutely, so full of emotion!
Like Place for my head and forgotten
Yes.
Nothing is underrated if you're a true fan.
Cz u r stupid bro
This song means the world to me, it reminds me of the time I survived so much abuse as a kid. Although its scary to remember, Linkin Park really got me through those difficult times
People see this as a break up song but for me it’s not, I went through childhood sexually abuse and to me this song is about the relationship with my bio mother that didn’t get me out of the situation. I feel a lot of Chester’s songs are about that same thing 😢
Dude...same
@@reginarepp3639 It's both
@xPrincessGarnetXVI Most of the people who like songs like these like them because they can relate to them. Linkin Park is one of those bands who can connect to people through trauma, and that's why most of the people who like their songs listen to them. I myself have gone through trauma because of my dad lecturing me and saying "Do or do not, there is no try," which is a quote said by Master Yoda. My dad made that quote into something I understand now that I didn't understand before. It's basically saying "Be perfect or do not succeed." And that's what I see in that quote. My dad was the root source of all my trauma. I was used as a play toy by someone I thought was a friend, and I would've never met them if I didn't have a dad. Today, I don't have a dad because I kicked him out of my life. Since then, I've found out I can barely cry and can't grieve deaths. Add to the fact that my mom forced me to be around my dad because my two older half siblings got their dad taken away from them because he walked out on them. I never knew why I was so mad at the world because I was a generally nice person. When I was about four or five, I would always fight to get out of my mom's van when she dropped me off at my dad's. I knew something was wrong, but I didn't know what. Eventually, my dad and I started getting along(or so it seemed), but I was still always fighting with my mom. Around the time I was ten or twelve, I started exiting my dad out of my life for short periods of time. My mom had still been saying I had to go to my dad's eventually. The year I turned 13, I had finally listened to what my mom was saying and didn't immediately pick sides upon hearing why my mom and dad never got along. I found out he was an ass hole and kicked him out of my life. A few days after, I started noticing that my mom and I had stopped fighting every day. I had even lost the anger issues everyone said I had. Ever since then, my dad has barely seen me unless it's a family event of some sort or I had a reason to see him. When people go through massive trauma, those people often find songs like this comforting and like a trigger release.
Dude i feel u all
Even the people who never frown eventually break down... 24 years later still hits hard. RIP Chester
Pushing me Away is an underrated song, this song had an astronomic potencial in my opinion; HT is a MasterPiece.
Don't call it underrated it's just old now, better than current sh*t we have
@@rjay3727 en su momento fue muy subestimado, hoy lamentablemente nadie va a escuchar estas cancional por la musica de mrd de hoy, y tenes razon, esta cancion es mejor que toda la musica actual
@@rjay3727 think he meant it's underappreciated compared to most of linkin park's music -- which i'd agree with; this song is on par with songs like In The End imo, yet it's less popular than some of their less stellar tracks
I was 12 years old, discovering rock music back in 2006, and getting increasingly motivated to learn how to play the guitar.
I remember that Pushing Me Away was sort of the tipping point. After I heard it I decided that yes I DID want to learn how to play the guitar.
18 years later and now I write, record and produce my OWN music.
Thank you Linkin Park. Without you I wouldn't be who I am today.
This was initially my favorite song on Hybrid Theory, until I realized the entire album was amazing lol.
I love Chester's vocals here, and the Reanimation version, especially the live version, is really inspiring. Chester's little speech about not giving up in the beginning is a great segway into the song.
Whole album is no skips. Being an old 37 year old man now though, this is the best song on the album by far.
My favourite Linkin Park song. Chester's vocals here tear me apart.
Remember listening to this album when I was 12 in my cd player with headphones plugged In sharing a room. Immeasurable
both original and acoustic versions of this song are amazing in their own different ways
Acoustic always sounds good with. Any song
Don't forget the one from reanimation... That version is 🔥
@@shardulmandloi reanimation in general was great
@@theotherguy21 yes. Especially one step closer every time when I hear that song I'll be in another planet.
reanimation is my favorite 😁🔥
Linking park doesnt know how therapeutic their music really is. Definitely a great hall of fame group.
Without this song..NUMB never exist
I understand what you try to saying here... Mike want to create another song like Pushing Me Away in Meteora album and thats why the structure both that song 99% almost same... here, try search this song.... Linkin Park - Pushing Me Away / Numb ( Mashup )
This song is better than Numb though
It seems like the same was with Crawling/Easier To Run.
@@nemesisfilms4942 that may be your opinion but there is no way lol. Numb is a faaar superior version of Pushing me away
@@nemesisfilms4942 numb better dude stop it.
Chester its hard without you being here R.I.P man
You are fine. They got a new female lead singer to save the band. Accept it.

Chester had a beautiful voice
Whenever I’m lost in this world, I just hold on to music like this. Makes everything seem normal for a few minutes.

🌷🌹🌹 he will be missed.. iam one of the biggest fan From 2007.😔
This album was such a monumental part of coping to find my place in this world.
I can't believe how much Hybrid Theory saved me.

We are in the same boat broski !
Truly an underrated and great song! It especially hits differently when hearing him sing "The sacrifice" part at 0:45 , idk why.
Why didn't this song had a proper video I will never know 😢
One of the most underrated songs from LP.
Fact: this is the best song of HT
Papercut is also very good
I love all the songs from hybrid theory. Their best album.

I've always felt this song within the dephts of my soul, it's an unexplainable feeling. This album changed my life forever 💖💔
something about Chester's voice is so nostalgic
And I miss that voice
this tribute is awesome R.I.P Chester
"Even the people who never frown eventually break down" has been my favorite lyric from this album since the day i heard it!!
They were one of probably the top 3 bands that defined Nu-Metal
Miss You Chester 😓
"Everything has to end, you'll soon find we're out of time" Mannn now that Chester is gone that really hits
that bass is so good
the most underrated and relatable song on the album
September 2024 Athens Greece.Chesters voice is phenomenal
Another one of my favs off the Hybrid Theory album. I really specifically like With you, pushing me away, runaway, points of authority & my decemeber. I relate to some these lyrics so much! The band works so well together! Love linkin park.
very underrated amongst LP hits.
This song keeps aging like fine wine
This is a favorite of mine but mannnnnn it gets better as you age
Huh, never realize it till today, he never sing "Pushing me away" like the title. It's "pushes me away". Cause I always thought the title had always been Pushes Me Away.
Sometimes they dont add the songs name on the lyrics because some songs actually stuck with their demo name (like Figure.09 and “And One”) or because they just dont want to
One of the best songs from Hybrid Theory... My favorite... So much memories, this video can't be watched without tears...
The best song ever ngl
Chester and Linkin Park forever!!!!!!!!!!!!
People who are sacrificing themselves for people who only do bad, please live your own life if and when you can, and be happy first, and ditch all people who just hurt you.
No need to fight back (unless physically, self defense is necessary sometimes), just leave them behind forever, and don't be ashamed.
Don't be ashamed for wanting a good/better life. As we all need that.
I sacrificed many years for my (late) dementing father, but only didn't stop living cuz he'd never survive that, and he needed my help.
I lost a lot of energy when he passed, and now still stuck with mother in her household, which is chaotic.
I do better now, due to being able to walk away when stuff goes wrong, even though still stuck here.
I learned that unless you push yourself higher than ever(which i HAD to do for my father), you won't be able to stay in a bad mental health for long.
So put your own happiness and mental health above all people who don't care about you, and/or even want you to be hurt by them.
If an ex or anyone else is talking about self harm, do not take the bait, and if it happens, you had to choose between your own happiness, or someone else's hostility.
Sounds tough, but people obsessed with hurting others, won't live a nice life, anyway, and pleasing them harms your own innocent(in most cases) life more.
And i can recommend therapy, as that can (especially when you're in a better life) really lessen your stress by a lot.
When i started this therapy(which is a bit different, but can talk to her a lot), i felt a lot better due to it not being on my mind all the time anymore.
It was the worst from 2016 to 2021, and only cuz i started thinking about my own mental health after my father's end, i'm still around.
My mother has become less chaotic, so i can deal with her easier now... but her problem is Parkinson now, so i can't blame her as much anymore.
I won't ever blame myself for my pain, though.
Keep up fighting, and sometimes you gotta let go of others, to become happy yourself, so do that.
Good luck!
The memories we all share with some of these songs get more bleak as we get older, but the feelings remains strong as ever ❤
My favorite LP song. It just never gets old, I always have a fantastic feeling when I hear it. The guitar riff at the beginning is one of the greatest works the band has ever done, the chorus is perfect and the lyrics impeccable. I must have heard this song more than a thousand times along with every phase of my life. Thank you for that masterpiece LP. I will always be a fan.
my friend was playing ping pong on wii sports resort while i was putting this video. he made a comeback vs the champion just because of how hyped he got with this song. thank u linkin park :)
1:01 seeing their old photos really reminded me how much I grew up with them.
Same, its actually bitter-sweet. It's a remind of the good ole days when everything was good !
Beautiful times
hybrid theory will always hold a special place in my heart. my mum gave birth with it playing in the background, crawling was the specific song. as soon as i'm turning 18 i'm getting so many tattoos dedicated to this album and of course, chester. i don't want to get depressing, this is a happy occasion, but chester did save my life.

A visionary musician, he always created excellent pieces, mixes of electronics with rap and rock, in his newest hits he did not have much acceptance and his songs are excellent, always ahead, nowadays electronic music is very popular, a pioneer without a doubt.
Eu gosto dessa música fortemente. Meus olhos ficam úmidos de lágrimas, porque consigo vê claramente como eu ficava quando criança... Me lembro que o clipe era de final fantasy. Enfim, tudo perfeito. Meus ouvidos agradecem.
