I love the live versions of this songs. They mash together the original and the reanimation remix as well as a piano version with Chester solo.
Looking at these pictures…makes me realize they never had new members they’ve been together the whole time that’s awesome
The bassist:
Bass Player was different in HT. Dude returned in Meteora after being in the demos.
@@hessiankyojin Brad was the bassist in most of HT, since Phoenix was busy with Tasty Snax. They did have a session bassist (Scott Koziol) for some songs tho. They also had a different for the 1999 EP, (Kyle Christener).

My favorite Reanimation song! I felt like this album never got the love it deserved
It was way ahead of it's time. People weren't ready for REANIMATION.
Now everyone will understand how brilliant it is.
I've got the album and listen to it sometimes. Anything coming from Linkin Park is gold anyway. The only band in the world who was able to produce the perfection on 100% of their content.

About Reanimation album. Mike doesn't like so much this album because, as he mentioned in memories, it was hard to create the last one, they had deadlines and a lot of guest musicians with their own schedules have been involved, and it was hard and stressful to organize them. So it was complicated to create, but the result is really brilliant. This album very balanced and rich in sound and vocal, at the same time complicated and simple, but very emotional on every second of the record.
Music is my hobby, I'm working in the same genre and going to create songs in the same style as Reanimation. I've already created the first song in this style called "Reanimate Me". If you interested in it, I can share it on UA-cam.
I deeply love reanimation, it's absolutely inspiring!! for me is the best LP and collab album ever made, perfect alchemy between artists. Truly a visionary masterpiece.

Of the Linkin Park tracks, this was always one of my favorites. I think it crystallized the common theme running through their music - Chester's state of mind. It's on the 2024 car playlist.
I've listened to this one for over thousand times. My favorite song in Reanimation. Really glad that this one was performed live in Live at Texas.
Isn't this the one on Live in Texas where Chester reaches out to the audience and tells them to "persevere, believe in yourself"? Always got me. Still gets me, and always will.

This may be controversial but, in my opinion, this is the ONE TRACK of the whole Reanimation album whose remix version ended up being better than its Hybrid Theory counterpart.

I think I'm not wrong when I say that for most of us this version is better than the HT version. Chester's voice is deeper and even more emotional; it doesn't sound like a remix as the other songs of this album. The part when Chester and Stephen's voices mix, that WHY in 3:30, it still gives me the chills. I just love it.
That moment always either gives me goosebumps or makes me tear up.

Super unique part
Whenever I hear this song I want to cry, sometimes because of it's perfection, sometimes because of the feeling's inside this voice.
I still remember playing this album for the first time back wheni t was released. I'll always be a fan of Linkin Park.
Love Stephen vocals on this one. If some like Nu Metal and don't know his band Taproot than should really check them out !!

The manager of Taproot also happens to be Mark Wakefield who was the singer of Linkin Park (then Xero) before Chester
taproot is amazing. they didnt make huge as korn. linkin park. korn etc. but they are even better than limp bizkit and other bands from that era
Stephen and taproot are awesome, I met them after a show a long time ago and he was so cool to sign a poster that was actually for my friend, I didn't know them as well back then and got into them after. He was like 'oh don't you want me to sign a poster for you too?' lol I felt bad haha

This might be my favorite from Reanimation. When I first listened it wasn't so great. But this one is amazing. I can feel as if there's a "faint" sense of carousel and So Far Away in this one since they sound so familiar

A visionary musician, he always created excellent pieces, mixes of electronics with rap and rock, in his newest hits he did not have much acceptance and his songs are excellent, always ahead, nowadays electronic music is very popular, a pioneer without a doubt.

Itachi Uchiha fits that part
This version is better for a number of reasons. Stephen adds an awesome layer. The verses feel like they are building up the whole time. Chester's vocals show more range and the changes fit the song great. The Chorus has a better chord progression that feels more intense and original.
Mike did superb job mixing this album.
Haven't heard enything like it before and after.

I'm a bit biased but, this music video, like all of the new ones from 20 years anniversary that are being uploaded, have more content than almost all of the new ones these days (I mean rap, pop and alike)
For example this video just makes me or everyone of us have these strong feelings of nostalgia and with every Foto, like from Chester when the chorus begins, it awakes something inside. I don't know how to explain it.
It does not shove us ideas down our throat like money, cars, fame, it just let's us feel something special and specific for everyone.
Some will say that it's just like a Diashow of pictures, yes, but with the music in the background it's more than that.
