Loved this ! Despite it being a little bit more expensive than other places this video makes me really want to go to Singapore! What an amazing place!
Definitely visit Singapore, it’s amazing! ❤
It looks like you came to Singapore to treat yourself 😄 It certainly looked like you had fun. That's the main thing! 🥳
I definitely did! Even just visiting the city itself was a treat! 😍
Welcome to Singapore 🇸🇬
Thank you! ❤ I love Singapore! 😊
SO GLAD TO HAVE MET UUUU!!! COME CHILL IN KL WITH ME!
SO GLAD I MET YOU! I will definitely come to KL to see you one day. Miss you already!
Singapore GDP per capita is $18,000 USD higher than Australia's and is higher than most of Europe (except all those tiny, ultra wealthy countries like Monaco, Lichtenstein and Switzerland) and higher than the US too. So you should expect for everything to be much more expensive as it is a much richer country than most of the Western world. Singapore has a lot of Chinese people and they know how to innovate and generate money. It's more similar to an East Asian country, which are all highly productive and expensive countries. Southeast Asia is the fastest growing economy in the world and it developing at an astonishing rate. There is a lot of wealth in Asia, you may underestimate based on how people look or dress, but there is a lot of money floating around there.
Thank you so much for this information! Always love when you comment, always so informative! 😊😊
First impression is it is a very expensive city.
im not suprised at the price but as many have said and you have replied to them. Hawker centers are the way to go for cheaper options and more diverse food options ( as your eating at the really Upmarket areas ). do consider visiting the heartlands area like Punggol or bishan / Ang mio Kio ( Via the red line MRT ) to have a taste of the local life. A personal recommendation for eating is ( Song Fa Bak kut Teh ) they have a few outlets around Singapore ( its a peppery pork soup with rice ) Note : they have one at Jewel changi which is at the airport ( Basement level ) and also do Try the Malay food here like Mee rubus or Mee Soto along with Nasi Lemak . Welcome to SG from a SG local.
Thank you so much for your comment and suggestions! 😊❤
@@findingReanna happy to provide infomation of my home country! Warm greetings!
In Singapore always eat Hawker Centres...food start from around $4 SGD.
I did eventually make my way to Hawkers Centre and it was amazing! 🥰
You need to come to Singapore for Christmas and New Year. The garden by the bay On Christmas is so magical and On New Year's Eve, at the barge, the fireworks start at 10.30 pm and it goes on until 12 am. It is so beautiful and magical, you will love Singapore.
I really wish I could be in Singapore for Christmas/NYE it sounds magical! 😍
I just find it so ticklish that they were eating at all those touristy places and then commenting how the food were so expensive and so not worth it...😂 😂
I was really hungry after a long day traveling to Singapore and the place was just outside my hostel. Be nice to me I’m new here! 😂
you stayed in budget cheap hostel but you splurged on pricey FAMILIAR food.
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do for western food and I paid the price 😂 haha!
Love your energy❤
Thank you!!! ☺️🤩
You could have gotten $5 meals at hawker centres. They are must-go places for tourists so you missed out. Unfortunate I guess.
I did make it to hawkers bay, just not in this video! The prices were way more reasonable! Loved that place! ❤
@@findingReanna ok that's great! Glad you managed to find one!
If you saw other travel vloggers of Singapore, you would definitely know most of them ate at hawker centres.
I did visit hawkers centre the next vlog! I learnt my lesson haha!
Hawker centre food cost $4 to $6 per meal
I did make my way there the day after this was recorded, so much better there! 😊😊
@@findingReanna Cheers. Not everything reported about Singapore being most expensive city is true . Many have the wrong impression by simply reading headline news.
I acknowledge that you can find cheaper food and cheaper things to do but I still believe that it’s expensive compared to most Asian countries I’ve visited, but that’s just my opinion 😊
@@findingReanna You are right. Singapore is expensive compared to other Asian countries .
Looks like you had fun. I didnt get the name of the park where you met the Indian lady. I wonder if it was Fort Canning
It was Mount Emily Park! It was such a peaceful hidden gem! 💎
@@findingReanna Hey thanks. I have not heard of it before
Food can be cheaper if you don’t eat at those high end restaurants
I did eventually make my way to Hawkers Centre 🥰
30 minutes MRT train ride $1.50 to $2. Hawker food $4 to $7. Taxi fare about $2 for 1 minute journey . Everything expensive ?
Singapore is rated the most expensive city to visit. Transport was cheap and I did eventually find cheaper food but the accommodation was expensive compared to most cities I’ve recently been to! I still loved Singapore though! ❤
You sre eating Western food in an Asian countries thats why it's expensive. Hawker food are cheap
Haha I know! Sometimes you just feel like western food once in a while so I paid the consequences 😅
@Bestiesgobackpacking I get that you miss the food you grow up with, especially traveling in Asia. You should have eaten your fill prior to reaching Singapore 😁
