Summer Suites is in a good location and convenient with everything in the building. LRT and Monorail in walking distance to get around the city. A good place for first time visitors in KL.
really great apartment for the price ben that just over $100 a week really good massive as well .surprized you didnt stay as long in kuala lumpur because its songkram in thailand at momment i never go that time because its madness dont fancy getting soaked everyday for 3 weeks keep up the good work 👍.
If you don't mind running the aircond 24/7 I sometimes find drying indoor in the aircond to be faster than drying outside if there's no sun. In my house we dry indoor under ceiling fans just because the rain is sometimes unpredictable and we're not always home.
Actually you are not allowed to hang your clothes on the balcony, it makes the view outside look horrible. Most people here dry clothes indoors or we have a laundry room to hang clothes under the fan, it will dry quickly
And youtubers (some) say bangkok is cheaper than kl? People look for value for money nowadays. Some is 50 usd per night but those are super condos. Kl is also called the mini dubai (affordable luxury). For high end tourists. They can try merdeka 118's park hyatt end of 2024. I am happy you found good shelter and not cheap hostels.
Very nice apt and amenities downstairs. I still personally like the quaint villages you were. This is too city like for my taste. The exercise room was facing highrise bldgs. Main thing is YOU were happy. Im glad. ~ Tazzz ~
I agree I prefer an old school style apartment/home to a modern style condo building like this any day. I’m a sucker for a sauna and gym but if I can get those nearby somewhere that works just as well. Ideally I want a stand alone home with a bit of yard / private space
Good thing there's no wind or the clothes will fly all over the neighborhood 😂😂 Usually I find it easy to dry clothes because of the hot and humid weather, not sure why your clothes is not drying fast enough 😅
Hi! I like the phrase, 'affordable luxury' rather than use cheap...cheap...everytime. Cause Malaysian not everyone can afford it. With an average of RM1500/month salary who could ever afford it. Perhaps husband and wife or young couple with sharing incomes. Not include their monthly cost such as electricity, water, internet, sanitation(indah water), gas(cooking), petrol, parking, car/motorcycle loan, or monthly transportation card, food, perhaps if there are balance for insurance, saving, shopping and entertainment. Well to live comfortably at least a person need to earn RM4k or USD1k, in big town like KL. Not everyone can earn that amount if they work in the company. It just like you need to work more hours if you are a GRAB driver. Coz that amount of salary is a manager income. Not everyone can be a manager and not everyone can work as blue colar worker or rough neck. US will have Hispanics and others, just like Dubai with Indians/Pakistanis and same goes to UK. While Malaysia with Indonesians and Bangladeshies. While others are welcome in different workforce or expertise. Just some sharing.
Yea true, this is definitely not so affordable for the average person. For myself signing a contract I’d look for something half of this price if I could, and do away with the building amenities. I live on around 1k-1.2k usd /mo and it doesn’t feel like a lot of money 😵
Hi Ben not spoke for a while hope your ok great clog as always ?what was the best condo you stayed in Jomtien or Pattaya for price and overall satisfaction please

Don't dry your clothes outside in Malaysia!! lol The humidity is so high they'll never dry. Even if they do, your clothes will have a lingering wet/damp smell! Next time you go outside, turn off your AC and just keep your clothes on a rack INSIDE. They will dry in no time!
@@benfishermin Ok, I don't think I could ever stay somewhere for a whole year. I'd go nuts! 1 month is more than long enough for me before I feel like moving on.
Hm for my dates a little over a week ago was 15 + taxes and fees. I’m seeing nights now for $22 plus taxes and fees if booked ahead. Still higher than when I posted this even so I suppose people are booking it. It could be worth checking around online for other rooms in this building too, maybe cheaper
@benfishermin I saw there are different names Bernice, studio, apartment.... which one is the one? Even it's 30 usd a night, it's still reasonably priced. I stayed in a casino hotel in Macau, 200 usd a night...

This was $15 per night when I stayed there over a week ago, and I checked again before posting and there’s nights for $17/night, it depends on the dates I suppose, or many people booked since I posted.
@jamesfreeman180 why would I care if people use the link? It’s not an affiliate link and I’m not at all affiliated with the host of this room. There’s also $360/mo rooms here with contract.
Yes, it’s currently still $14 a night with the Agoda link, and they are also $360/month if rented long term with a contract. I changed the title to try for better performance on the video, since I assume the Malaysian audience is more interested in longterm rentals and not vacation style rentals
Malaysian here, flushing toilet paper in the toilet is very normal over here. Personally never been to a toilet that couldn't flush toilet paper and find the idea of it strange.
@AngelLee162540 angel, in Taiwan there is a culture to throw toilet paper at a bin. Their hole is too small to flush toilet papers. I am not joking. I know it is damn dirty to throw dirty toilet paper in a bin next to your toilet bowl. Malaysian toilet bowls are very big. Our sewerage system can also take sanitary pads lol. Sometimes get stuck. Even pythons crawl up using the hole. Amazing malaysia.
only $360 thats nuts lmao.....why am i still living in singapore? something like this would cost at least $2.5 to $3k.....just move to malaysia and ur a free man.
I would not call it luxury at all, the interior looks cheap and the location and views are not very pleasant. For the same money you can find better options, both short stay and long stay.
