Thank you. Not sure what the argument was all over in the comments. I watched this video for Gelatin Bubbles....and you did a nice job at that tutorial. Thanks again.
Muchas gracias Isabel, por el video excelente. Yo soy una profesora Americana de ESL, y su ingles es perfecto! Tambien, soy una repostera en irlanda :-)
What an awesome idea! It took a couple tries to make evenly coated and great looking but they looked wonderful on an anniversary cake I made. Thank you for sharing your many talents!
Very nice tutorial...thank-you for taking the time to make & share it. Also, I think your English is just fine! I understood everything you said. Thank-you again! Beautiful work!
Thank you for sharing, I always thought it was blown sugar when I saw cakes with those bubbles, I didn't think it was that easy, I'm going to try this soon
I just have to say - My husband and I both LOVE watching your videos. We are learning to make cakes and baked goods to sell from home, and I love watching your techniques. Quick question - Is there a way to make these bubbles flavored?
She is spanish. She has the videos in spanish and she took the trouble of making them in english so she can help more people doung this balloons. I can't understand how people can pick fault with her english. Like we say in Spain. De bien nacido es ser agradecido. I
I apprenticed with a pastry chef from Paris , Maurice Leduc, the only fondant we used was poured over a very thin layer of marzipan, rolled fondant isn't real fondant to me, its very heavy and ponderous but is used to conceal unskilled work. After 40 yrs as a pastry chef I know no-one will ever catch up with the French, I am English but my heart is French, toujour. Good video regardless, neat idea.
Hallo its a wonderfull idear i tried it with agartine but didnt worked out. now i have gelantine and will try. my question how long in advanced can i make them?? and do they go soft aswell like fondantflowers by heat and steamy air???? thx so much and i like your videos
I'm happy not to be alone in thinking that some of the stuff that's in fashion now in food industry is completely crap... I live in Italy, cakes and patisserie products are on the money and still people prefer eating dry and tasteless fondant covered cakes instead of a simple-looking (even ugly sometimes) but delicious slice of pie or a simple looking piece of tiramisu or apple pie :o
I've tried this twice and both times I failed. I used 50g of gelatin (boxed jell-o) or 1/4 cup and 100 ml water or 20 teaspoons, but it never set the way your gelatin did. Could you tell me what I did wrong. PS, I love the accent and I could understand every word you said.
What type of grease would you put into the balloon and what purpose does it have? I would like to know the exact reason for using that technique before I attempt to make this cake decoration :) Also, if you could mention any other possibilities of failure, that would be really helpful. I like to do my research thoroughly before try something! I hate to waste! Thanks, and it is a nice tutorial.
I'm wondering (and hopeful) do you take orders or just teach how to make and decorate cakes? Are you in the USA? If so and you take cake orders, how would I go about ordering one, contacting you? Thank you!
I've tried that because my balloons weren't coming out very easily but the gelatin wouldn't stick to it. I thought my first set was a fail because I couldn't get the balloons out but after a day or so the balloons released on their own (I had clipped a small hole as shown in her video). I would suggest making them a couple days ahead if you can and that way they will dry and the balloons will release without any problems....hope that helps! =}
Can you tell me how many boxes of "jello" i need to do this? I tried this and it did not turn out. :( I am trying to make this for my sons b-day this weekend, so any feedback would be great! Also, my balloons almost repelled the water-any ideas why?
I'm envious I'm not a cake person, and it is probably due to the fact that so many bakeries where I live compromise taste for looks. Some of the worst cakes I've had were even from one of the most reputable cake places.....*hint* they have a reality show that rhymes with "make moss". Even had a cake at a 4 star restaurant that was hard as a brick and WAY too sweet....at most cake has only been "tolerable" for me. I need to visit france....
People that pick fault with your English should try and speak another language it's not easy and I think you did very well, thank you for such an interesting video.
Is this video in Spanish.. I really tried to pay attention but did not understand very well. Kinda lost. Can someone send me up the link? thank you guys! :D btw, awesome idea, awesome video! I'm gonna try.. but need some more details ;)
If you haven't seen yet and no one else has helped then it's 50 g. of gelatine, 100 ml of cold water and half spoon of pearl dust powder. I've only just seen your post and it's dated 2 months ago so maybe you've sorted it but if not...here you go!
What do all these comments have to do with this wonderful video. People that share their talents on here are awesome. Thank you for sharing yours. I can't wait to try it! Yes, I make cakes and my wedding cakes are beautiful and taste great!!
This is NOT a "how to speak fluent English" video here, people. The point of the tutorial is how to make gelatin bubbles, and that's what she showed us.
Great idea! You could turn them into mini cake piñata's by putting little lollies in them🎂 Ignore all the negative comments re the sound!! Yes it isn't great but you're trying to do your best...you're actual idea was easy to follow regardless. Thanks 👍🏻🎂
This video was useful, but I really struggled to understand what was said. The sound quality/microphone was poor, and the voice wasn't very clear, and I'm guessing English is not their first language as it didn't make much sense and was quite.. clumsy, in how it was worded. That said, I can understand enough to replicate this, but it was very jarring to hear the volume go up and down, hear breathing into the microphone and distorted voices..
Ugh. I know how that is. It's a shame when a wedding cake is all show and no flavor. At the wedding of a friend, there were two types. the first one was horribly dry vanilla cake, and then the second was nice and moist and chocolate, but then you realized that what made it moist was that it was absolutely SOAKED in a medicinal tasting cherry syrup!
OMG!!!! I just done them and they came out perfectly!!!! Thank you much u genius!!!!!
Thank you. Not sure what the argument was all over in the comments. I watched this video for Gelatin Bubbles....and you did a nice job at that tutorial. Thanks again.

some people DO used blown sugar. but i love this idea! seems so much easier. slightly different effect, but really cool!
I have been wondering how to make these for so long. Thank you for doing this tutorial.
Thank you for sharing, I always thought it was blown sugar when I saw cakes with those bubbles, I didn't think it was that easy, I'm going to try this soon

Thank you for sharing, i think you can make really elegant cakes with bubbles like those, i learn something new every day
Pretty bubbles, great information.

well done job! great idea! thank you very much!
beautiful! but what kind of gelantine do you use for the bubbles?
I apprenticed with a pastry chef from Paris , Maurice Leduc, the only fondant we used was poured over a very thin layer of marzipan, rolled fondant isn't real fondant to me, its very heavy and ponderous but is used to conceal unskilled work. After 40 yrs as a pastry chef I know no-one will ever catch up with the French, I am English but my heart is French, toujour.
Good video regardless, neat idea.

Thank you for the tutorial! You make it look so easy!
Hi this is interesting I do not have a microwave will I be able to do this using the stove thanks
Thank you, the bubbles were perfect for my baby shower bathtub cake .
Your videos are inspiring. Thank you for posting them!

Awesome! Can you give the ratio of gelatine to water, please? That would be fantastic.
I can't wait to make these! How far in advance can you make them? Do they start breaking down after a couple days?
+Kelly Merritt Any update on my question?
+Kelly Merritt they last a long time just keep them in a air tight container
i worship ur work its awsome
Muchas gracias por compartir tu secreto!
Your cake looks like a very nice wedding cake.
They are so cute.Thanks
amazing creation well done :)
please can you tell me how far in advance they can be made?
Thank you for sharing this video. I like the cake its very pretty.
I did enjoy this and will try the process very soon THANK YOU
your latino-ish accent is really attractive tho :D
Great video. Understood u so clearly. Thanks so much for make this. Can u make these with chocolate?
wonderful...I love fondant, but the cake has to be delicious, any baker worth their salt will ensure that they have a tasty, moist cake.
I've tried this twice and both times I failed. I used 50g of gelatin (boxed jell-o) or 1/4 cup and 100 ml water or 20 teaspoons, but it never set the way your gelatin did. Could you tell me what I did wrong. PS, I love the accent and I could understand every word you said.
awesome they look like big pearls :)

Great video ! Thanks .... now I want to try this ! :)
SO PRETTY
que marca de gelatine usas, porque yo lo e intentado con gelatina de la marca funcakes pero no se cueda aguada no se hace una pasta como en el video.
Can it be colored or made in any other color ? Thank you.
Hi, great tutorial thanks for sharing, please can you tell me where you got your white balloon mould from?
Very neat! Thank you for sharing!
los globos pueden ser recubiertos en cooking spray para que no se pegan?
Your English is fine, good video.
will the bubbles last, say, a week or more? i was thinking of making them beforehand and then put them in the cake after...
and we begin the process, mmh?
Would it be easier to get balloon out if it was sprayed with pam or butter before applying the gelatin?
I've tried that because my balloons weren't coming out very easily but the gelatin wouldn't stick to it. I thought my first set was a fail because I couldn't get the balloons out but after a day or so the balloons released on their own (I had clipped a small hole as shown in her video). I would suggest making them a couple days ahead if you can and that way they will dry and the balloons will release without any problems....hope that helps! =}
MsDreamcakes I was going to ask how long they last actually. So you could make them a few days before and they'd be ok?
PoisonC4ndy Yes! They will last as long as you keep them in an air tight container!
Brilliant, thanks for that.
Its also known as Luster Dust. Its an edible, dry form of food colouring with a luster or shine, coming in colours like pearl, gold and silver.
Very useful idea thank you!...
That is very nice, good job! :)
Can you tell me how many boxes of "jello" i need to do this? I tried this and it did not turn out. :( I am trying to make this for my sons b-day this weekend, so any feedback would be great! Also, my balloons almost repelled the water-any ideas why?
instead of taking the balloon out- since you probably wont eat these anyways can you leave them in for color?
Can you do coloring instead of just the pearl dust? We want them to look like Christmas tree ornaments
I'm envious

Thank you for sharing, will try them.
Que ideia maravilhosa!
Thank you for sharing its amazing!

I live in the US, would it be possible to buy your DVDs? If so, what link should I go to?

Like butter?
Thank you. Very nice,
Wow, where do I buy gelatin?
I love her accent....

Wow very unique
How do you stick them to the cake??

It's okay, one day you will have to regardless of you wanting to or not. :)
Wonderful tutorial, thank you :-). Sound is awful, but still great information ...
Hi, Where do you get your balloons from?
Water balloons--- from the dollar store or WalMart in summer ---smaller and a bit thinner than the usual balloons.
Wow Thanks.
i love that accent
You have to use plain unflavored gelatin, like Knox. Regular jello will not work, as it contains sugar and color.
Megusto los globitos ylo hice pero salieron finito otro se hicieron pedaso le agradesco no tenia y dea como se hacian
