@@toneolafsdatter Just because something is expected, doesn't mean it's easy, nor does it mean it shouldn't be acknowledged and appreciated. There are a TON of fathers that wouldn't provide that same level of support to their child, so for you to act like it is a guarantee is just straight up ignorant.

@@davidbright8913 you all might be misreading toneolafsdatter as if he was arguing contrary to the original poster. He could have been just affirming. Regardless, both comments hold water in my opinion. Some dads have the vision to understand how to go the extra mile for their kids and then put a plan in motion to help their children achieve goals... not every dad has that capability BUT we all should strive to do the best for them that we can and, yes, that is part of the contract we sign as fathers. I can only hope dads like KB's outweigh the deadbeats at the end the of day.

I actually randomly found you and your family on UA-cam looking for some music to play in the background and I just got sucked in to your videos! It was so beautiful it made me cry multiple times. KB the most special part of this addition is her relationship with her father. I hope she realized how blessed she is to have someone in her life be so supportive. It means everything.
I was never a huge fan of this song, and now I just play it on repeat. Over and over.
I am in remission from a rare disease which has left me to suffer with Adrenal Insufficiency, thyroid problems, panhypopituitarism, osteoporosis, etc.
At such a young age, these diagnoses can be absolutely devastating and life-changing.
I cry and cry every time I watch this, KB you are so strong and so incredibly blessed to have a dad that loves and supports you like that. Please understand how special that is. These diseases can be so lonely, especially when you look so normal.

Very lonely at times. The expectations that our society places on us and the fast pace at which we are expected to do everything at is not realistic for a person with chronic disease/fatigue/pain let alone a normal functioning human.

I lost my beautiful smart daughter 20 months ago. She also had a voice where she could have went on the show. But she was also fricken hilarious and could have had a comedy channel. She took her life.
KB, what you may feel at a particular given MOMENT is not representative of reality, even though it sometimes feels like it's set in concrete. I wish my daughter had been able to realize that. Keep on, you will accomplish great things, you are amazing!

I don't know if you will ever see this KB but I have hashimotos as well, I'm allergic to the medicine so they can't take my thyroid out but I'm regulated with the lowest estrogen patch out there and it helps a lot. I don't know your situation or if it's been tried but it might help you too. You are strong, you got this, never give up. ❤️

Hashimotos had me in its clutches-including an embarrassing goiter in my neck. Gratefully, for many years now--I actually forget I have it.
I Never forget to take that tiny little pill, though. God bless you, sweetheart--you are touching lives. I am 80 years old and you have touched mine.

All those years of pain from Hashimoto's, baby it was building you for your destiny! The grit and sound are the result of that pain... I too have Hashimoto's disease it's not for the weak and it's invisible to the outside world unless you have it. Your time is NOW baby girl get this win!

I truly think she can win! I was hooked in the first 10 seconds! She made this so her own! I’m obsessed with her tone! She’s a tone monster! Also, the way she shapes a phrase with so many different colors is so pleasing and just makes you seat on the edge of your seat and listen to every single word! The rawness and pure emotion in her voice is something you can’t teach! She did this thing where she was just behind the beat which made it so perfect, like she was singing through molasses. Top 5 favorites so far!

She has a wonderful and beautiful tone. Excellent intonation and phrasing. I loved the rawness in her emotional tone. I loved that she was really passionate without trying to be. Really sweet and she's a beautiful girl too. She could also be a supermodel as well.

There was a few people during the auditions that literally made my jaw drop…there were atleast 5 people who I verbally said out loud “what in the hell are you doing on this show? You don’t need this” and KB was my fourth one…undeniable talent, happy to say I’m a new fan!

I saw you guys, I believe it was on Tik Tok, a while back and I didn't know you had Hashimotos! I was diagnosed with it when I was 18 and I'm now 27. You can definitely live with the disease, but that doesn't mean it's easy to live with it, and the worst part is, it's an invisible disease that sometimes no one else sees you struggle through but those close to you. You have a wonderful talent. I can hear your journey through your singing voice, and it's heartbreakingly beautiful. God bless and keep believing in yourself! ❤
