I am American so unfortunately I am not familiar with Australian centered charities but I do know some general tips when looking for places to donate is always go for local! Large national charities tend to have a lot of overhead and staff they need to cover so while they can be legit there's a ton of other things they also do besides relief. I'd also check all considered charities through a charity watch organization. We have CharityWatch.org but unfortunately I think they are specific to American run organizations. I'm sure there is a similar one you can use for an Australian charities I just don't know what it is!

She did not have dead ends... Jeeez all hair is always dead. They weren't even split, just not cut straight or styled, and red hair is thick which sometimes gives it a dry look.

The color of the hair wasn't at all what I was expecting. I was expecting like a cool toned fantasy-charactet pink. It's more like a natural pink. I can only explain it like... if pink was a color that could actually grow out of a human's head, I feel this is how it'd look.
But that's a good thing. I love it when fantasy colors can look natural
I agree, I actually thought it looked surprisingly "natural" for such a change and not too different on her, because it's so warm toned I guess. Not at all a bad thing though!!

Going red to blonde is notoriously difficult, so I was really impressed that Natsumi managed to lift so much colour during the first pass!
Dyed red is hard, isnt hers natural? is would have been easy if it is. Shes practically there on the bleaching colour scale.

Natural redheads have a harder time taking to pigment, even more so than someone whose going gray. Natural redheads are considered as not having pigment in their hair so it’s hard for it to absorb any sort of color. It surprised me when I learned about it because I always assumed that gray hair was less pigmented (because it’s lighter) and therefore harder to color. When it comes to redheads, they are considered to have no pigment and therefore they just reflect any color and a hard time absorbing it.

How is it hard? it doesn't take much to learn something by heart in a language you don't speak and spoken Japanese is fairly easy to learn (few tenses, no declensions... Compared to slavic and romance languages is a piece of cake).
I still have the opening lines of Erec et Enide, Bucoliche and Eneide stamped in my brain and that were writren in dead languages nobody has spoken in centuries

I TOTALLY felt it when you said “it’s time to let go of the safety net” regarding not cutting your hair. My hair was something that I never realized I hid behind. It was always long. Very very long which you can actually see in my YT photo. It was the only thing I felt was beautiful about me. But after 30 years of wearing a ponytail EVERY DAMN DAY Something had to change. So last summer I cut 2.5 FEET of hair off for my 38th birthday and it was ABSOLUTELY FREEING!!!!! I feel like it was the last piece of the old me I needed to shed. It’s a beautiful color and quite difficult to achieve and maintain. And to get it in one sitting is great! But I think the reason why it’s not that even is because the bleaching. The roots were bleached to a lvl 10(almost 11), but the rest of the hair still had a lot of yellow. The “canvas” wasn’t even when the dye was added and that’s why it’s not a 100% there. I believe if she chooses to have this color again and get a retouching it would be even better!
@@Abcdefghiiiiii Because her hair wasn't lifted to the same white/blonde evenly around her entire head. She has tones of orange coming through the pink which doesn't look good. Brad Mondo would be shook
Might be an unpopular opinion but I’m loving Alex’s natural color. After a year of fun changes I am looking forward to seeing it come back!

I've actually been on the hunt for the perfect medium sized cross body bag (big enough to fit a flask, two books, a watercolor travel set, and my phone, but not so big that it would be inconvenient for day to day business...) And I would love to watch you review some on your channel.

Kanken backpacks are really nice but I wonder if LL bean has canvas cross body bags definitely check them out ive never had problems with LL bean bags and backpacks they last forever I swear
If you go shopping in stores to find a bag I recommend taking, The flask and biggest book or if the watercolor pad is bigger and test them. That’s how I found my favorite bag.
Best case scenario you can already figure out the measurements that you’ll need before searching online.
I have a backpack that is smaller than my torso (I am 5ft 3in), would be a bit smaller than the bag Alex wears in this video, and you would be surprised what I can fit in it... currently I have:
Wallet, sunglasses, passport, 2 x Shopping bags, 2 x portable chargers, hand sanitiser, body spray, 2 x chapstick, 1 tube of paw paw ointment, a pen, a bottle of pain killers, 6 x glasses cleaning wipes, a comb, a pad (cos never know if an emergency strikes myself or a friend), and my iPhone 11 with a chunky case also goes in there... and the bag is only half full at this point 😂
I don’t even know where this bag was purchased as it was a gift, but I’ve had it 4 years now and it still looks brand new, meanwhile I’ve had name branded bags and wallets that have damage within 6 months of use.
I can recommend Ruby & Kit backpacks, I have one that I bought 6 years ago, they’re about the same size as Alex’s bag. My Ruby & Kit has survived the wars, only Dmg to it is fraying of the leather drawstring. But it survived cats and their mess (ex had untrained cats 😑), just had to stick it in the washing machine about 3 times.

Try looking at kavu bags! They're really cute and have a rope sling that can come in different patterns! I think it's just the type of bag you'd need, mine is made out of canvas and I've had it for the longest time

The colour with the cut looks SO CUTE!!! It makes you look even younger and so so so adorable! Definitely fits your aesthetic.
Oh and about the eyebrows, many people keep their eyebrows their natural colour, but a cute thing to do is do the inner part of your eyebrows your natural colour, and the outer/tail ends in pink! Or vice versa. Just use a coloured eyeshadow on the part you want coloured. I did it a lot when I had blue hair, and when I had green roots to blue ends.
Yeah, I have naturally dark drown hair, so I typically go colour on the inner part of my brows and have the tail end go to dark brown (or black depending on how edgy I want to go lol) I'll have to try the reverse sometime!!

As someone who doesn’t know anything about hair, how do you know if your ends need cutting?
It always frustrates me when people with long hair say they're going short and just end up taking off the dead ends 🤣
@@kittyrosefaerie7464 sometimes you can actually see the split ends and breaks (they often look like little white dots that won't wipe off). If your hair isn't dyed, the ends could look lighter than the rest of your hair. Another sign is tangling super easy, and hard to brush out. I can tell without even looking when my hair really needs a trim, because the ends feel more rough and dry than the rest of my hair.

My mum for a short while would bleach her whole head then dye it a slightly lighter colour than her natural hair just so it wouldn't fade differently after washing for a couple months.
I dunno, if she weren't doing the pink, she'd be doing Oragne with rainbows, might just be easier to bleach the whole thing? Not sure, I'm not a hairdresser.
She had said in a previous video that she would do a red color with a slight rainbow effect.
it's so pretty! however I was expecting it to be a little bit darker....i think if you upkeep it with a bit of a darker shade, it might suit your complexion a bit better though. looks great still though!
she will probably have to get a pink tinted shampoo or something to upkeep it. The pink she got (while STUNNING) will fade back to blonde in about 1 or 2 washes. But luckily they make products to upkeep pastel hair!
I have a very similar skin tone and for me I know I would be all one color hair and skin!

@@nycapplesJH afaik Alex has never been obese (just overweight) and you need to be morbidly obese to get gastric bypass, I highly doubt she qualified for that.
If she has lost hair she did not loose the weight in a healthy way so she probably don't want people to harm themselves by following what she did.

I used to have extremely long hair for years, and when I finally chopped it all off, I can not get enough of it! I now hate it when it's too long! If it goes past my nipples, it's far too long! There are times when I miss it, but then I think how much work it is to have long hair

@@AstralSkeptic It's very different but if you don't like it, well hair grows back :) I used to have insanely long hair all the way down to my butt, I chopped it down to a pixie and didn't regret it. Though I allowed it to grow out to my shoulders again and was absolutely shocked by how curly it became, and then I chopped it all off again XD I adore short hair.

And I don’t wear earrings anymore due to the pain involved when they’re suddenly ripped out 😱. And I never assume any clothes that have buttons will still have said buttons when I next want to wear them....but despite this and a hundred other naughty things he does on a daily basis, I love him to pieces and wouldn’t swap him for all the clothes in Alex’s wardrobe!😘🦜😉
Somehow it feels like her red it peeking through the ends. Turned out more like a smokey rose gold. It's really pretty
Its because they bleached her hair but didn't then use a toner to strip out the yellow so it tinted the colour more yellow. I've got to say I've not been very impressed with the quality of the dye jobs they've done there, they seem to end up quite uneven and patchy which is a shame. Though maybe that's just the style right now with dying hair more out there colours - instead of embracing that its an unnatural colour, trying to make it look more natural by having high and low lights of the same colour? In which case it did sort of turn out like that.

WIRES is a really good charity that doesn’t bullshit with its money. WWF is terrible because they take your money and put it into “administrative” costs, which is just paychecks for the top dogs. Trust man
@@samcresp5440 the red cross has also been under fire (as alex mentioned) for the same thing- putting millions into "administrative costs" which they don't exactly explain well, as well as what appears to be stockpiling "for the future." if we have another crisis, we'll donate to that then? why stockpile when there are still people that are homeless? sorry end rant this just gets under my skin.
it's only a dollar you ain't special Absolutey. Red Cross has a long history of sketchy behaviour hence why I’ve never donated to them. Many better charities that do far more for our most vulnerable.

I usually find a lip or eye crayon that matches my fashion hair color to fill in my brows

I’ve had fantasy colored hair for the past 4 years and I ALWAYS match my eyebrows to my hair. For pink I coat my eyebrows in white mascara and then use eyeshadow to fill them c:
however for the particular shade of pink you went with I think your natural brow color will look great!

Honestly girl, life's too short to be scared of things like that! I had a ton of people telling me not to dye my hair or get bangs but I did it anyways, and it ended up looking great on me! Not a second goes by where I regret dying it or cutting it. Try it! It might look great and if not, it's really just hair! Plus, you get to tell your kids/ grandkids you used to have fun hair! I think whatever you end up wanting to dye it would probably look great!

If you go to a well rated salon with a trusted hairdresser! With red hair the dyeing process can be a bit difficult, so don't do it a cheaper salon
Yes! As Max said, please do not try an at home box disaster. I am a stylist and can tell you it will go bad, and we cannot ever fix it as well as we’d wish too!
