Ladies, may I stress the importance of taking care of your belongings. I take care of my $5 tshirts the same way as I take care of my $500 blazers. Make sure all your things are ready to wear before putting them away. All my shoes stay in their boxes, clothes steamed and hung directly from washing, Remove bobbles before hanging. That way everything is ready to go and you save time when getting ready.
Doesn't hurt that you are also a classic beauty.

You've nailed the fundamentals of grooming. Having clothes tailored to fit, with correct undergarments, is crucial to looking polished, and surprisingly few women discuss the details of really good grooming on their channel. I subscribe to a Dublin Down Memory Lane, and the pictures of women from 50/60s are incredibly stylish and chic and embody much of what you champion ☘️
Hey, i just wanted to mention in case you didnt know: the crease releaser isn't doing anything special. If you buy a fine mist sprayer, you can fill it up with water and it will do exactly the same thing. The water helps to smooth out wrinkles and creases, and naturally helps with steaming as well. The only reason i can think of for the crease releaser to be used is fragrance.
I don't think I have ever seen you not perfectly polished. Even after an advent calendar shoot, you look absolutely elegant!
I still think blue is your best color, but you make any color look great!
Thank you for talking about undergarments! I don’t wear spanks because they make me more thin. I wear them under my knit dresses, body, con, or special occasion dresses, because it’s smooth the lines, and makes it look seamless. Am I cheating? Maybe, but it looks much more polished.

I once read a decorating book from an interior designer and she made a good point that I have translated into my choice of clothing:
She brought to my attention that the color black can suck the energy out of a look, but if you go with something dark but with a little color to it, then it will look much better. For instance, instead of styling with black, use navy blue or bottle green as these colors are dark but have more visual energy than pure black. Basically, black tends to look “harsh”. It gave me an epiphany as far as decorating my home AND styling my wardrobe. So, though I realize it is said that everyone needs a little black dress, the majority of my darker colors are dark navy, bottle/hunter green, or dark maroon. I think they look good on just about any skin tone & the “classic” looks too.

Not a fan of the fabric shaver, especially for wool/kaschmir. It'll not only shave the little bobbles but the very fine "hair" of the fabric, which means it is getting damaged and you take away undamaged fabric each time you use the shaver. There are combs for this. It ofc takes more time, but is way more gentle to the fabric and only takes away the bobbles :)
Loved this video. I also think knowing your “season” is good too. I’m a winter and autumn and everyone always loves the color clothing I choose. It would be great if you did a video on this. Thank you for a great video as always. ☺
This is so true - when I found out I was a warm spring it changed my life. Everything I wear makes me look so healthy and well-rested now, and it makes shopping so much more targeted and effective, and therefore cheaper overall.

Fairy washing up liquid for your dishes gets foundation out of you whites every time put it neat on to the stain give it a little rub into the grain of the fabric then wash as usual it gets out most oily type stains it gets out most stains full stop but brilliant for makeup and oil

I deleted my previous comment. Listening to every word, with intent. I can not find a single flaw in what your saying. I agree with it. You are one of the most Amazingly consistently beautifully "put together" woman I have seen on UA-cam. Your ease and ability to communicate this subject matter is rather astonishing. If someone needed help in dressing , you would be the person i would want to speak to them. Due to your obvious mastery of the subject but also your ability to communicate. But your style leans towards "old lady wear" as is the current trend, and I guess the point of the video?
Can you be beautiful without being stodgy? I guess dress to me is , "what you want to convey". I would not want my date or my daughter dressing like an 80 year old; nor would i want my lawyer in court wearing a low cut sheer see through dress with pink high heals.
I wish my daughter would have had this guidance growing up. Guess my point is, Google Hillary Clinton, look at the photos. how does one so well put together, go so horribly wrong? clothes can convey so much or so little. As a man when I had money and time, I always liked to look good, but with more physical work and less time, my grunge jeans an tshirt became the only things i wore 24/7. When going back into the dating pool, I realized i look like a homeless vagrant. Is the trend, (the clothes) your conveying as timeless, really timeless? I believe the points on wearing ,shopping, and on putting oneself together are TIMELESS. Which could be used on any style or trend? i bet if you wanted to look goth, you would be the best put together goth person. Your ADVICE is timeless, in my humble opinion, the styles not so much. For instance as a man, an ignorant man, learning about cost per wear is eye opening at 50 years old. women thinking more logical, then just, it has got this "name" For instance, with tools, for mechanics, as a young man, I Learned that Sears Craftsman tools where the best to get at an more expensive cost for the everyday man. I was told this, but learned it, when using cheaper quality tools, i would damaged the things i was working, on due to the poor fit, and durability of the tool. Which led to breaking under load ,hurting myself badly. And if some asked me for Core tools to begin with, i could suggest a good core set. As for brand, not so much, due ever changing lack of quality. so I guess being a guy, I will be quiet and say this is one of your best videos. No joking. Like wow this is a different side of you. A very professional, well spoken masterful video. GOOD JOB.

Just save up for items. Don't cheap out on anything that will be a staple in your wardrobe. Do not buy 200 items, buy stuff that you love and stuff that you'll remember to wear.
Hi Ciara, I’m hoping you do do a video on underwear. Also you mentioned loving black, white, neutrals, (I do too) and how it’s handy for packing. Have you any tips on this, I get so overwhelmed when packing and having so many bags and things especially at winter with heavy coats and boots

Manicure is generally an American obsession. In Europe it is more about having your nails healthy, clean and well cut. That's it. Less expensive, for sure, and better for your health!
