I've decided to fundraise Birmingham City Centre past & present because that's the one that's going to take me the most time. Feel free to donate if you can. If you cannot, a word of encouragement would be wonderful. Thanks a lot.

So many childhood memories with my nan
Used to visit my nan and gran on the summers there as a kid. Brought back memories. Love from sweden
Thank you very much for watching 🙂
Was brought up in Kingstanding in the 50s. 60s. Sad now
Nice to see a walk through. Loving the variety of content. Definitely go to the lickey Hills it's beautiful there x
Hey Isha, sorry for your old comments that I haven't responded to yet. I am going to do it very soon. 🙂
So many people have requested I do Lickey Hills. So when the weather allows it, I'll go there. Thanks for watching the video Isha 🙂
@Cities Through My Eyes No worries. The views at the top of the Lickey Hills are awesome. Looking forward to watching.
I live in Rubery. We got the Lickeys, and the Waseley Hills.
WE LIVED OFF THE MAIN ROAD, JUST AFTER THE WAR. DESPITE ALL THE CHANGES, I RECALL THE MANY TIMES PASSING THE ORIGINAL OLD CINEMA, ON THE WAY TO SUTTON PARK FOR A AFTERNOON PICNIC, IF THE WEATHER WAS NICE.
great to see now in brisbane au
Thanks for watching 🙂
I used to work in and around kingstanding bought back some nice memories. Maybe you could do a walk around Rednal and the Lickey Hills. Some lovely walks and decent places to eat.
Hey! Thanks for watching. I have been advised to go over there for some nice videos. I'll try and go tomorrow 😉 Thanks a lot!
Hey nice one. Its lovely round there 👍
I used to work for Colins TV shop around there I didn’t notice what it was now, not sure if it is Corals now, anybody know?
Surprised you didn’t get stabbed 😂
Hate to have to agree with you unknownkid but sadly you are right
Don’t know, if you know how Kingstanding got its name
JUST GOOGLED IT. COMES FROM THE CIVIL WAR, 1640'S, WHEN KING CHARLES 1ST , HAD HIS SOLDIER'S ARRANGED IN 'THE BOWEL'', CIRCLE. HENCE ''KING'S STANDING'.
Who rembers sweets and treats
Joseline is this part of the W.A.B?
Hello CTR Media Walsall, nice to hear from you 🙂 Yes this video is part of the WAB series.
@@citiesthroughmyeyes Thank you 😊 🙏
@@citiesthroughmyeyes I say Joseline I like the way you film, you literally shaped every corner around the circle. Definitely best to show the whole centre. 👍
When I started filming walking tours, I would record what was in front of me. I didn't move the camera around. And somebody in the comment section asked me if I was a 'pavement inspector' because I didn't show the stores' frontages. I was walking like a horse with blinkers basically. 😄 So since that comment, I got into the habit to show everything and the best way to achieve that was by doing circles and panning with the camera, and by trying to replicate eye movements when you look around you 😉
@@citiesthroughmyeyes Yeah that's it, it's like Kingstanding centre is built on a large roundabout, and if it was built on crossroads it's the same concept of covering all the corners and shops isn't it.
My friend lived in kingstanding and she hated it.a lot of ani social behaviour goes on there
