It just dawned on me. When Phil mentions numbness in his legs he’s probably not lying at all. He simply means his legs fell asleep like any normal person will experience.
It's likely that he has experienced alcoholic neuropathy or Beriberi. All the things he is describing fit the symptoms of those conditions. Both can be caused by long term abuse of alcohol. Phil has openly admitted that he drank heavily for many years.
Phil has told *at least* 6 different versions of the car accident. In some of them he was barely alive, while in others he went to classes the next day. It's impressive how much a person can lie and pretend that those lies are actually true
Phil actually talked about how he “suckered” Machinema when he told them he needed someone to travel with him to these events because of his back, then said he didn’t really need that. But also doesn’t mention how he got John to drive, carry everything and film. There was a day in February 2022 when I was sorting through some old boxes sitting on the floor. I was hunched forward with an empty cardboard box in my hands and twisted a few degrees to the right. I was in a car wreck and had a tibia platue fracture bad enough the guy with 10 years of leg surgery experience winced when he saw the x-ray. It's been 3 years since the surgery and I'm doing much better, but if I sit wrong for too long, it's still painful when I stand up. You don't get use to that, and my injury is not even on the same plain of reality as a herniated disk. the odds on this whole thing being a self-diagnosed problem extrapolated from a comment from a doctor? if we know anything about DSP its that he can Easilly turn "you should probably start walking more, work out your back" into "severe, near crippling injury"
Imagine how emotionally unstable you would have to be to cry over this clip. Either he really was crying and he's on the edge of a breakdown all the time, or he faked it to seem like a genuine human and that's even scarier. What a nut lol
DSP only has sickness/conditions/etc when it's convenient for the situation, but he always gets better or has overcome it in some way because having something wrong with you is weakness in his mind (obviously irl there's absolutely nothing wrong with having a disability, mental condition, or being chronically ill), and he cannot show weakness ever. I.e. how he's "no longer an alcoholic" but can somehow still drink in moderation, how the magical Seattle air cured his back, etc.
Steve of the Suffering here just upset that Phil did what Steve didn’t have the power or courage to do himself: get over a devastating back injury and still stay positive. Bodybuilding likely reduced Phil’s overall recovery time, haters will cope and say it’s fake.
I would love for somebody to tell him to get a standing desk, I want to see the rant that would cause! Also I thought that good old "clean" Washington Air magically cured his back issues? Got to try and get them pity bucks, he's just like me frfr.
I DID enjoy this thank you Mr of the Dead. I had a load of sorting out to do (And had to do it late cos I fell asleep) and I greatly enjoyed soundtracking it to this.
Chiming in again: thanks for clarifying exercises. NOT back pain but after RSV and covid, simply lost strength and Steve spot on. You have to work up to it and be consistent. RESPECT for someone dealing with TRUE serious issues!
I saw this last night just before bed. Gonna binge watch. THANKS STEVE. I know you aren’t 💯 and you are still kicking DSPs ass. You didn’t have to hear that from me but somebody notices! Here is to a CONTINUAL recovery. Toasting your health with a virtual Lucozade 👌🏻
Brother... the dsp hand cart saga... i knew instantly when he denied talking about the hand cart, that he was holding the 'hurt back excuse' as a backup plan-B for when his streaming fails.. same as OiC, they both grift disability to NOT work, when they can....and that is hard to debunk as a caseworker (pinch in the back is exploited by a lot in the ssdi grift program... we all know this is true.. sad to say he will use this grift and i predict many things(no brag) here....
35:20 In 2010 I was doing some pulldowns at the gym and noticed a slight twinge in my arm. I was about a week away from moving out of my mum's and had done martial arts most of my life, so I was focusing on my move, as well as being used to straining a muscle and it hurting for a day or two. Six months later I could barely raise my left arm past my shoulder, making exercise and later rock climbing difficult. I started seeing a pyshio shortly after hitting that point and through a combination of the treatment and some exercises a friend gave me, I had pretty much recovered from my injury by 2015, regaining full movement of my left arm. That said, I still see her two or three times a year for a "check up" (she's likened it to an MOT for my fellow British style detractors) and I imagine I will need to continue this for the rest of my life. I know what I've gone through pales in comparison to both Steve and Butterbean, but seeing the way Phils acts here annoys me as I feel he's making light of what people have gone through. Granted, that's par for the course as just about any time Phil opens his mouth I want to shut it. And as Steve said, Phil's commentary on his reactions are rarely anything of merit. Add to that, my mum had her hip replaced at the start of the year, so Butterbean's recovery reminds me a lot of her's and how she's gone from needing two crutches for the first couple of weeks to just one, and recently none/having a walking stick on hand in case it's needed.
There's a reason why people actively root for DSP to fail - he makes it so easy to despise him. Sorry to hear that man, and a speedy recovery to your mom.
@@NervousNoodles Couldn't have put it better myself. It's frustrating how Phil will say and do things, and not realise this is why people are angry with him. I could rant about a few other things Phil has said which irks me but another time. And thanks. Her recovery has been going very well, mainly as she's been doing the physio she was given. She was in a lot of pain and discomfort for at least a year so the fact it's no longer a problem for her is fantastic.
I’m certainly not a medical expert, but I do know that pain is literally the one stimulus that your body cannot and will not habituate to. You can’t just get used to it or stop feeling it as intensely no matter how much you experience. Phil talking about how he somehow just doesn’t feel pain the same way as other people is crap.
40:00 Something came to me when you said this about Phil crying. I seriously wonder if Phil's default is crying because he's got low testosterone. It might also explain his irritability and anger issues. I say this, not to insult Phil, but because I have low T caused by taking pain meds for my back pain for so many years (opiod-induced androgen deficiency). I thought to have it checked when I was crying about the stupidest things and a doctor confirmed my levels were very low. I take weekly T injections which has leveled it out and gotten rid of my other symptoms.
Phil healed his back through a strict regiment of playing video games all day and only leaving the house once a week. I honestly don't buy the herniated disc story at all. I think Phil's back just gets sore because he's a lazy ass and any mild physical activity causes him discomfort.
I wonder if DSP latched onto those specific vertebrae because he learned somewhere that they control pooping and he loves skat humor so that's what he picked. He's never had a back injury, I refuse to believe it because this is a guy who's been on camera 90% of his life over the past 16 years, and in all the footage we have of him that he has taken himself...in all that footage NOT ONCE have we ever seen him in pain. Never a twinge, never a wince, never a groan, never a comment like "Guys I need a second my back is killing me im going to take some medicine (pain killers, Asprin, etc) give me a second". His "back injury" has never been anything but an excuse to be lazy, to have other people do things for him like Rambo carrying camera equipment to conventions, or Rambo doing all the driving. He's too lazy to drive! His back has never been hurt, he's never been in pain because he has never USED his body in anyway to give himself aches and pains. As usual DSP is full of shit.
Whenever he talks about his back, just look animated he is in his stupid chair. A damaged spine wouldn't like that. It's not just embellishment at this point. It's fantasy.
I've said this before but Phils back is his backup and retirement plan. When UA-cam finally does something that prevents him from making money, he will resort to filing for disability
Phil's worst thing being loss of bowel control is about image. Phil's priority is his image. It's why he goes ballistic when he gets wrecked in SF, where he wants to have this OG pro player image, it's why contradicting him and making him look foolish is a bannable offense and vitriol worthy even if you're right (especially if you're right). It's why he's desperate to rehabilitate himself with the interview, a documentary he has complete control over, even the "debunking 7 years of bullshit video" the second twitter said anything about him that wasn't mockery. Losing control of your bowels is worse than crippling pain, paralysis, loss of mobility. Because it's humiliating.
DSP is forever the boy who cried poor and cried pain. Anytime he brings up pain it’s always in the fishing for sympathy way like “oh guys my neck is killllling me. I don’t know if I can keep playing long.” Like you are not in that much pain. You want someone to say “poor baby” and hand you $100.
I honestly think Phils back muscles are so atrophied or underused that he has issues when he has to do minor tasks. I speak from experience i worked an office job for years and even outside the job all i did was sit and then when it came to things like doing the dishes or loading the dishwasher i would get "backpain" because these 5-10min of standing or bending over where to much for my back muscles. This would also fit the "i get back pain when im stressed" because he tenses up so much while raging at a video game that his muscles start to ache hence he has pain in his back. Or maybe he is completely lying again you can never know whil Phil tbh.
Chronic pain is not the same as acute pain. It's not the same as pain from an injury, but it's healing and getting better. Phil talks about his back like it was a stubbed toe; where you can forget about it until you stand up to walk and then remember 'ow, my toe is throbbing'. Chronic pain never lets you forget about it. It's always occupying some amount of your mental capacity. When it's really bad it'll occupy 100% of your mind, it's all you can focus on. On good days, you may distract yourself 90%...but it never leaves your conscience thought, there's still that 10% of your focus that's aware of the pain. That's how you can tell phil wasn't dealing with "sometimes daily, it depends," chronic pain. You can't tough that out. It wears you down. No matter how long you can tough it out for, the pain will still be there; you can't beat it or out last it. The best you can do is cope with it using medication, avoiding activities that make it worse (which is usually all activities), etc. Phil talking about how he just adapted and now doesn't feel pain anymore reminds me so much of someone that's never experienced mental illness saying, "I know that guy is bipolar, but can't he just like, ya know, try harder not to be depressed? I get sad too sometimes but I just force myself out of bed and I start feeling better." Yes, that works for you because YOU'RE NOT BIPOLAR. I won't believe Phil had a "severely herniated disk that the doctor said could rupture at any moment" until I see the MRI with my own eyes.
Looks like phil kept up with the lie long enough know there's no established lore its a mix of nonsense and from him acting like his back is fucked he ended up actually fucking up his posture to look like khet has her way with his backside 🤣🤣
This back lie has been debunked ever since he moved and we had the contradictory and infamously clipped, Dsp Hand Cart Saga .... for 'his hurt back' (as he dances and bends over constantly to stop jasper from eating his nest of xbox cables)
@@dertythegrower Then he wonders why his detractors want actual PROOF/receipts to what he's saying. Saying "it's not true" because I say it's not isn't a "DEBUNK stream", Phil!
0:20 - You know the recovery is coming along well when bionic bhack Steve is crunching together a 1 day, 37 hours, 43 minutes and 10 seconds long video. Looking forward to get through it for the entire of 2025.
Thus, Phil's back was cured just by moving and then ascending stairs every day. In order to climb stairs, he had to give up his condo. He might have spent much less money at the gym.
When he talks about losing bowel control he's just thinking of shitting your pants and how embarrassing that would be. But clean yourself up and that's it.
This video, Phil's specially" is him in two of his worst states. Pigsplaining, and trying to be empathetic, and I think empathetic is the worse of the two. It's theoretically possible for The Guy to have a fucking clue what he's talking about, but it's impossible for him to actually show empathy.
I'm not sure, if they're not on the Battery Exhausted channel they'll probably have been taken down for copyright reasons, I vaguely recall BBC striking the first stream while we were doing it and I've also had a few claims for using RD clips in older videos.
More than likely, when phil talks about having lower back pain, he had shitty shoes and from standing so long at work caused him to get lower back pain. I'm not a doctor, but I had that problem and getting better work boots solved it.
2:50. Steve, why does Phil have problems pronouncing certain words ? Like at 2:52 he say Deshhtroyed instead of Destroyed. These other words he pronounce the same awkward way : Fruchtrating. Fruchtrated Schud (Should) Cchildren Schtrong Ekchstra Chtreshed (Stretched) Deshhtroy Reschturant Schritfighter Stresched (stressed) Schrteith (Straight) Any thoughts on that ?
Phil saying, "I've gotten used to pain guise, I don't even feel it anymore". He is so infuriating to listen to. Every time he is even slightly ill or in pain it becomes the end of the world for him. The earache saga. The "probably COVID" saga. He has used pain and illness to gain sympathy, and pity bucks, numerous times. No doubt he'll do it again.
I honestly question how bad his back is actually hurt. Like, I'd be willing to be it's more like what I did where I picked something right, fucked up my muscles and all it took with a few trips to the cyropractor and I was mostly better. Now it's been 10 years and my back is perfectly normal.
I feel you Steve it drives me literally insane every time he brings this lie out and parades it around for pity, and i know it’s a lie cuz its never the same story twice. Unlike him i have this issue and have had to have my spine fused and have started feeling the pain and numbness actually descend into my right leg, this lie is probably the only actually triggering shit he does for me. He is such a self centered dick wad. All he does is co-op others suffering and puts it on himself, then beg with that in mind. Glad to see you back and able to work on phil’s bullshit, means you are doing better which is actually good news.
Great vid. Phil will always use his back sympathy. Im of the opinion he never hurt his back, looked up what ppl with bad backs do andvgo through and used that info to try and gain sympathy and be lazy and not do shit. Hes got pretty convenient excuses when it does come to his back and why he cant do snything anymore.
it's been said before but it bears repeating how much Phil saying he became "used to the pain" or whatever is high grade bullshit. I've been born with a malformed hip bone that causes several issues from having legs of two different legs to arthrosis to of course tons and tons of pain. It hasn't hurt less over all my life. The only thing that might change is your perception of the situation, going from "mummy I can't walk, can I have a tea and watch anime all day" to "oh great it's this shit again, now what do I do with my day". Phil doesn't understand that because he just seems to regurgitate what he heard from others about back pain etc and doesn't actually know what they mean.
Phil has blinders on for everything medical, except sympathy farming and poo jokes, so it’s no wonder that he locked on to the factoid that spinal injuries can lead to loss of bowel control. But I bet you anything he doesn’t actually understand what it implies, and was just ack ack acking at the doctor’s office because he thinks it means shitting himself.
MRIs are just annoying. Ive had numerous and the only "bad" one ive had was because i now have claustrophobia and it was for a spinal biopsy. Again, Phil just whining to try and get more money. I apologize to everyone. Phils just angering me so much lately. Sorry.
What is the psychological reason behind turning your wife into an actual clone of yourself from your most successful era? I was watching the Khet reveal and thought, “He turned her into DSP 2011.”
Alright, Steve, when the shaolin monks alleviate their pain by sheer mental fortitude it's all alright but when a man in a similar physical condition and arguably an even higher mental state does it he needs to be checked out by the police and put in a padded cell? The meds really are hitting you hard, bud...
Steve. Phil was playing SF6 with and old friend Brian. Did it on Mic even. It was a cringe fest and definitely something you HAVE to look into.... It SHOW what years of isolating away from social interaction does to a Human...
DSP probably only ever had back pain from being fat and sedentary and thinks that's what all back pain is and feels like. Not that I would know that being a lazy out of shape slob inherently causes back pain from personal experience and can be cured by not being that... But as for DSP, he started using it for sympathy and as an excuse to get people to do things for him because of course he would. At least, that's how I think his 'pack pain' story goes.
Phil talks about his back and you'll give him 3 hours, I ask you to record one sentence and I'm still waiting after a month. Maybe I should make you wait for a while before I give any Big Ups for this video... We both know I won't do that. Big ups as always, I'm genuinely looking forward to my usual 3 hours of Vampire Survivors while listening to this.
9:35 he did right here... also, Dude.. this guy phil said he had a hand cart to help him move, its all there, said a hand cart for his back issues. then said he didnt.. when people like doody clipped it, phil still denied it 😂
@@dertythegrower My comment was left entirely as a joke because I asked Steve to record something and he keeps forgetting and I'm giving him a hard time about it. There's absolutely no malice or misunderstanding here at all, I'm just joking with Steve.
The whole back thing is a total lie, he made up this whole story so he has an excuse at the ready as to why he cant go out and actually get a job and do anything physical, theres not a chance in hell hes had a serious back injury and then sat on his ass for the last 15 years, and the occasional "decompress" he does is just general back ache from sitting down. Hes told the lie so much he has no option but to carry on this insane shit.
Watching you observe him making statements about his bACK while still living the life he has is something i will never turn off or get disinterested by, because there are people like Butterbean who have exerted their body to extremes I wouldn't have done Yet Phil has to make _everything_ about himself and how he struggles.. but its not his back, its the lies that he piles on and on he struggles to remember lies told.. Classic narcissistic traits, and a very noting personality that he cannot sympathise truly and feel for that person... if we know anything about DSP its that he can Easilly turn "you should probably start walking more, work out your back" into "severe, near crippling injury"
He almost died!
Just like that totally almost lethal car crash lol. He almost burned off half of his body dood! GIve him 50 dallas!
DSP is a Gen 1 Fallout 4 Synth programed by and intern at Bugthesda.
Thanks for the vid, Mr. Steve of the Dead.
Simpth
Imagine how emotionally unstable you would have to be to cry over this clip. Either he really was crying and he's on the edge of a breakdown all the time, or he faked it to seem like a genuine human and that's even scarier. What a nut lol
wait ...whenever Phil gets the slightest, tiniest amount of pain, he's on twitter crying about being in "excruciating pain". He does it everytime.
Heyyyyy I caught another Steve of the Dead shout out! Let's gooooo!
Back injury is just a card he saves to get away from working or doing chores.
You can't fool me geddy lee
It feels bad hearing what you're going through, Steve. I hope things are better now.
His back issues are back due to all the smog that's blocking the magical all-curing Seattle air. 😰
He wants his back issue to be a perpetual thing that exists so he can bring it up when ever he sees fit to use it as a sympathy card.
He took a day off from playing games because he had an ear ache. Like a toddler.
As usual DSP is full of shit.
great video. I hope you'll make a full recovery, sooner rather than later.
Work day is saved! Praised be steve!!!
Whenever he talks about his back, just look animated he is in his stupid chair. A damaged spine wouldn't like that. It's not just embellishment at this point. It's fantasy.
The inspiration of Butterbean's recovery is complete lost on Phil.
100%. He's the most self-conscious yet oblivious person I've ever seen. Just about every single thing he does is driven by ego and defending it
DSP is forever the boy who cried poor and cried pain.
Steve's Back.
The KING IS BACK
Also I hate how he says "including loss of Bowel control" like its a punchline.
3 hour Steve video 🤔
It's almost like he never left
3 hours, and there is over 5 hours of clips of dsp lying and grifting he has a bad back, with 0 proof
@@dertythegrower Then he wonders why his detractors want actual PROOF/receipts to what he's saying. Saying "it's not true" because I say it's not isn't a "DEBUNK stream", Phil!
I mean, it's not quite 8 hours, but he's still not at 100%, so I'm willing to give him some slack, this will do for now
0:20 - You know the recovery is coming along well when bionic bhack Steve is crunching together a 1 day, 37 hours, 43 minutes and 10 seconds long video. Looking forward to get through it for the entire of 2025.
Steve, I'm reaching out on behalt of RighteouSpirit, who wanted to convey this message despite being blocked on Twitter. RighteouSpirit loves men
Thus, Phil's back was cured just by moving and then ascending stairs every day. In order to climb stairs, he had to give up his condo. He might have spent much less money at the gym.
It's not the "flavor" of food you get addicted to. It's the salt and sugar and additives.
When he talks about losing bowel control he's just thinking of shitting your pants and how embarrassing that would be. But clean yourself up and that's it.
"wow dood that's just like me when I pull Hogans"
Watching Phil dance, I can't help but think, "this man must be awful at sex".
This video, Phil's specially" is him in two of his worst states. Pigsplaining, and trying to be empathetic, and I think empathetic is the worse of the two. It's theoretically possible for The Guy to have a fucking clue what he's talking about, but it's impossible for him to actually show empathy.
What happened to Your's and Superchuffer's breakdown of Red Dwarf? I can't find it anywhere?...
I'm not sure, if they're not on the Battery Exhausted channel they'll probably have been taken down for copyright reasons, I vaguely recall BBC striking the first stream while we were doing it and I've also had a few claims for using RD clips in older videos.
Phil would do an excellent description for the blind. Unfortunately, he missed his calling and is a terrible UA-camr instead.
More than likely, when phil talks about having lower back pain, he had shitty shoes and from standing so long at work caused him to get lower back pain. I'm not a doctor, but I had that problem and getting better work boots solved it.
1:20:20 I truly hate this man (Phil) when he talks diet/nutrition and fitness.
2:50. Steve, why does Phil have problems pronouncing certain words ?
Like at 2:52 he say Deshhtroyed instead of Destroyed.
These other words he pronounce the same awkward way :
Fruchtrating.
Fruchtrated
Schud (Should)
Cchildren
Schtrong
Ekchstra
Chtreshed (Stretched)
Deshhtroy
Reschturant
Schritfighter
Stresched (stressed)
Schrteith (Straight)
Any thoughts on that ?
Phil saying, "I've gotten used to pain guise, I don't even feel it anymore". He is so infuriating to listen to. Every time he is even slightly ill or in pain it becomes the end of the world for him. The earache saga. The "probably COVID" saga. He has used pain and illness to gain sympathy, and pity bucks, numerous times. No doubt he'll do it again.
I still can’t believe if all the ways it could have happened, Phil hurt his back playing grab ass in the park 🤣
The dude lies more than Hulk Hogan.
I honestly question how bad his back is actually hurt. Like, I'd be willing to be it's more like what I did where I picked something right, fucked up my muscles and all it took with a few trips to the cyropractor and I was mostly better. Now it's been 10 years and my back is perfectly normal.
2:38:24 oh he was a HEFTY boi. That shirt is SO tiny.
So we know how toxic, weird and messed up Phil is.... so what does that say about the people that fund his lifestyle?! OOOOOOOF!
At least, that's how I think his 'pack pain' story goes.
at 11:04 he said he almost had a rupture in this video
Khet straightened his back out if you know what I mean
ahhh, yes
DSP has gamer back from sitting on his ahh all day playing video games ain't nothing happen to him at all but not much moving an to much sitting
31:38 🤣🤣🤣🤣
33:25 got me all up in my feelings, proud of you big dog
Phil talks about his back and you'll give him 3 hours, I ask you to record one sentence and I'm still waiting after a month. Maybe I should make you wait for a while before I give any Big Ups for this video...
We both know I won't do that. Big ups as always, I'm genuinely looking forward to my usual 3 hours of Vampire Survivors while listening to this.
9:35 he did right here... also, Dude.. this guy phil said he had a hand cart to help him move, its all there, said a hand cart for his back issues. then said he didnt.. when people like doody clipped it, phil still denied it 😂
9:30 to 10:30 he clearly did
@@dertythegrower My comment was left entirely as a joke because I asked Steve to record something and he keeps forgetting and I'm giving him a hard time about it. There's absolutely no malice or misunderstanding here at all, I'm just joking with Steve.
#FREE2KJ
The whole back thing is a total lie, he made up this whole story so he has an excuse at the ready as to why he cant go out and actually get a job and do anything physical, theres not a chance in hell hes had a serious back injury and then sat on his ass for the last 15 years, and the occasional "decompress" he does is just general back ache from sitting down. Hes told the lie so much he has no option but to carry on this insane shit.
Watching you observe him making statements about his bACK while still living the life he has is something i will never turn off or get disinterested by, because there are people like Butterbean who have exerted their body to extremes I wouldn't have done
Yet Phil has to make _everything_ about himself and how he struggles.. but its not his back, its the lies that he piles on and on he struggles to remember lies told..
Classic narcissistic traits, and a very noting personality that he cannot sympathise truly and feel for that person...
Steve, im gonna shut up now but you are a beautiful brilliant intelligent man and the more I type it seems like I'm flirting 🫦 😂😂
BIG UPS TO DA DANG DIRTEE DEEETRAHKTORS D00DS!!
