I lost faith in medical doctors in 2020. I think they are brainwashed in medical school and it’s hard to change their minds. I would see if there is a Lyme disease specialist somewhere nearby.
My personal experience with doctors made me resort to eating a no sugar, low sodium, no processed foods, and as organic as possible, diet. I was taking medicine for diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. For the last year, I have been off all prescription meds. I use foods for medicine and it has worked for me. By the way, I refused the Covid shot. I was exposed several times but never got the virus. I am 77 years old and feel better than I have in years. 💕🙏🏼

That doctor will never admit he’s wrong. I would contact a Lyme disease expert and get a recommendation for who to see in Alaska.

Yes I'm sure you know much more about Lyme disease than your doctor does. He most likely knows next to nothing about it, that's what it sounds like. I would definitely give up on him and find someone who deals with that disease in Alaska.

Yes primary care MDs are few and far between that even believe in Lyme disease. I have been through this whole process and as a nurse I was very ashamed at how the medical field make people feel about their disease. And since Covid it is even worse. I was lucky to have a holistic MD who started my care but it still took years to get to the bottom of it all.

@rondar960 I am a retired RN too and yes, since covid I'm very ashamed of the medical industry. I am happy I'm no longer attached to it. I'm upset with my pri.ary care doctor for wanting us to take the poison shot but neither I nor my husband would. So happy now that we didn't though many in our family did. I warned my family against it but half the kids took it anyway. My husband's daughter works for Cooks Children's hospital and they mandated her to take it so she did. Also my older daughter thought I was crazy and took the shots as soon as she could. So far everyone is OK but we know they are ticking time bombs.

Nothing beats a holistic doctor! I had a routine colonoscopy about 10 yrs ago. I had 26 polyps. At a follow up appt the doctor suggested doing surgery to remove that section of the colon ( keep in mind they were not cancerous). I immediately found a holistic doctor who has treated me ever since. I now have ZERO polyps with his treatments!! Stick with your holistic doctor who immediately knew what your issue is! ❤

Hi, Tina I have no doubt that the Lord put your thumbnail up on my feed. I agree with you 💯. I hate going to the Dr for all the same reasons you have shared. My baseline BP is on the lower side. By the last time I went to the Dr it was the highest it’s ever been. Anyway I’m sure God answered my prayers for the right provider for me. She is a functional medicine provider and I absolutely love her. Not gonna go into all the details right here but as a result of Covid pneumonia in late 2020 I am now disabled with several chronic illnesses. You are a breath of fresh air. As an ER nurse, I was not surprised at this Dr.s reaction. Sorry to say that I have seen this a majority of the time. Keep searching for a Dr. that is open and willing to discuss integrative medicine- I know you are limited with your location. I now seek alternative and holistic treatments whenever possible. It is embarrasing to be a part of this profession at times, especially since 2020. I have a child who has been permanently damaged by "medical treatment" and that has opened my eyes to the pitfalls of Western medicine. I applaud you for taking the alternative path and healing yourself. I would recommend watching Justin Rhodes channel as he has chronic Lyme and discusses his journey and treatments often. I wish you all the best on your healing journey!

He never did the stool sample test but said he didn’t have C-Dif. I requested the stool sample and it came back positive. He put him on strong antibiotics for 2 months. Tina at the time that I was diagnosed with Diabetes I was so devastated. That was 2 years ago at 77 years old. Never been sick except for minor things. Went to doctor once a year for my annual. It was so hard to accept. Total life style change at an advanced age. I was so down. A friend said to me, you never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have. How true. So I put on my big girl panties and have adjusted so much in my life but all is well. In January 2024 I had surgery for melanoma. Again I’m dealing with it. I’m so sorry about all you are going through. But be strong and don’t let anything or anyone win. Kick butt and stand tall. You are awesome and one of God’s children. He’s always there for you and me.

Tina, I'm assuming you have military insurance, Tricare. We have Tricare Prime, when we've had medical problems with doctors, or techs giving tests we've immediately contacted Tricare (our insurance), and explained the situation. They immediately sent us to someone else. Maybe calling your insurance company would help the situation. Just a thought.
I'm proud of you for standing your ground with this doctor. Don't let him intimidate you in any way. You know something is medically wrong because you haven't been feeling well. You have the blood workup, and tests from your Natural Medicine Doctor. It will be interesting to see what results the Alaska doctor comes up with. I'd compare the results from both doctors. Keeping you in my thoughts, and prayers.
    Nice dock Joe!

I hate it when Drs don’t listen & are proud. We have to do our own research. I’ve been the guinea pig for the docs & had the tests & procedures infinitum before they found hypothyroidism. Now I just fired my primary bc he admitted he wouldn’t give me the rests I need bc he doesn’t know how to interpret them. So we must be our own advocates & keep researching. I’m in the midst of a journey to balance my hormones with a brand new endocrinologist. I’m a UA-camr too with a small channel. I support you. I’m s brand new subscriber. Great docs learn from their patients & stay humble & compassionate. They don’t just push meds & not know anything about nutrition.

Hi Tina I had the same reaction from my doctor when I had to go private for tests that showed I had MS my doc said he didn't except that I had MS and wanted to do his own tests..
It's an ego thing with GP's I think.. they don't like to be proven wrong and certainly not from a higher qualified doctor plus think the fact that we dare go behind there back to another source..
I could write a book about my treatment by my doctor..I could have sued and I think that crossed his mind because the way he is with me now is as different as night and day..
I wouldn't have sued because what is done is done and no amount of money would make me better..my husband and I live simply out in the countryside with our few animals and close family nearby who help us...watching your channel helps keep my mind off the pain and other chappy things.
So I thank you and your family for that 🙏 ❤..love from Ireland

I’m dealing with a debilitating issue as well, one of those hidden struggles that people can’t see. I’ve been to countless doctors, but none have been able to help. The common response is 'there’s nothing we can do, you just have to live with it.' Even my sister, who’s a doctor, says the same thing. It’s hard to have faith when it feels like they’re just repeating what they’ve been taught without considering other possibilities. I haven’t been to a doctor in nearly 10 years now, left to endure this struggle alone. It’s as if you’re just another number, and after you, they’re onto the next patient. Some of us might not have a solution, but it would be nice if they at least tried.

I was also contacted by the Department of Health when my labs came back positive for Lyme. And made sure I received care and followed up with me a few times.
Keep advocating and standing your ground with him. If he continues with this behavior you may want to find a different doc. Keep positive, get lots of rest as that’s when our bodies heal when we sleep and lots of prayers going up 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏😊

Hi Tina, Watson family. My husband and I have been following you since you were in the apartment shortly before Joe’s retirement. ( thank you both for your service) May God continue to bless you and your family. You’re a better person than me. I would have walked out of that dr’s office. He’s wasting more of your time and money ordering the same tests. I would say definitely fine another doctor. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. You’re in our prayers. Jesus loves you. God bless you all ❤❤❤

We went through the very thing your going through with our daughter for years. Countless doctors before and after the diagnosis.Contracted Lyme in Virginia running the trails ended up having to come home to PA for us to take care of her she was bed ridden for a time. What we did learn was that the antibiotics they try giving you just drives the Lyme deeper into your system to escape the antibiotic. The holistic approach was the best route we found for her. There is hope and she is now running her trails again and going to the gym. Praying that you will find the help you need to start feeling better.

Tina, it will take you up to 6 months to go completely gluten free. And, my family eats what I eat, very rarely do they eat regular gluten. My husband does, it’s bread because he takes a sandwich everyday for lunch, other than that, everything else is gluten free. And, once you get the hang of it, it’s easy. When you go out to eat, ask for a gluten free menu. On Facebook and instagram, there are many groups to join to help you. You are going to have no issues at all. I have a lot problems, Hashimoto’s is one of them. I take something for it, I’m allergic to wheat, and I have cut my sugar and carbs way down. That has helped my thyroid tremendously! I’m praying for you, Tina❣️🙏🏻

I understand. My sister was sick for 30 years. Every medical doctor said she was crazy. Finally, after 3 days as an inpatient at John’s Hopkins where they ran every test, she was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis. They found it but had no treatment for it.
We believe in Naturopathic medicine. Keep fighting through.

I don’t know how easy or difficult it is to get a new primary doctor but based on the way that one talked to you and questioned a labs results I’d be looking for a New primary doctor!!! I would have told him if he wanted to question the lab results why not call the lab and get his questions answered!!! Putting you through all that testing again is not only unnecessary it’s causing you to live longer without treatment! I’m outraged how you were treated by that guy! Unreal! I will pray for you and that you will get your treatment sooner than later. God bless your family.🥰❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦🍁

Get another doctor to support you on this journey. With something like this think of the Doctor as the project manager, who overseas the project/build but prepared to listen to you follow up with new leads/research/treatment protocols appearing. And you can do it tele conferencing. Thats what I do with my wonderful Naturopath down here in Oz. It will be a different system in the US as obamacare was written by insurance companies. You will call in those who align with you. XX

I’m so sorry to hear about the medical problems At least with a diagnosis that makes sense you have a direction to head.
The pier you have at your pond is gonna turn out gorgeous. If I can make a small suggestion, though, I had a piece of property on a river for about 30 years now, and I know the River levels will change from year to year and/or season season. I know we don’t have it as bad but they have something called break up there anyways you may want to consider putting that whole pier as a floater. I made a real nice one out of 55 gallon plastic barrels. You could make everything at home, put a couple sections at a time on your snowmobile trailer and launch them and drag them up with the boat or you could bring them up in the winter time and they’ll slide over the snow. I made my sections 16 foot long Because that’s the best price per board and that not alot of cutting needs to be done and the width of the pier slightly wider than barrel height they fit right in underneath and I strapped them down with some rubber coated steel cable I got from Amazon and they won’t go anywhere. Digging and beating all those posts into the ground is going to be a lot of work out on the river if you can float it over the top of that most of that grass and maybe use a block and tackle to drag it where you exactly want it I ran some of that same steel cable to shore in a couple places and sank a couple of pilings in secure ground on shore to tie it off and keep it there. There’s a lot of ways to build a pier I just thought I’d share what made my life easier.

The Dock is lookin' real good Joe. 👍
I have a friend that has to eat ONLY Gluten Free products AND TINA, its best to make sure, that where you go out to eat, you can actually eat at. If that makes sense? 🤔 If my friend wants to go try a new restaurant, she has to research their menus 1st. Better to be safe then sorry, you know, id hate to hear, that you ate something while out and it made you real sick.
Love the new Goats. ❤ Goats are so comical, always jumpin', how fun.
    Blessings to y'all,

Tina, first let me say my husband and I enjoy your channel and look forward to your “new releases” 😉We have also noticed how Joe has come to life in the last few videos and is now showing us who you see behind the camera and we are loving it. Also, I am sorry for how you were treated by your PCP, no one should ever have to feel degraded by anyone especially when they have proof in hand that they are physically ill. I suffer from celiac disease and living gluten free is not as difficult as it used to be. You would be surprised to know that Walmart now has a rather large selection of gluten free products from pasta, breads, etc. Nabisco makes a rice cracker as well 😊 You got this girl, the world is your oyster ❤

Gurl…. This has been my life since 2006! I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars on Functional and Naturopathic doctors trying to well. I have never been tested for Lyme tho. Definitely I will ask for that. It has been a struggle with the ups and downs of each new treatment- sometimes feel great and other times cannot get out of bed or breathe! This is a travesty of our sick care system because it isn’t geared toward wellness! Glad you are sharing what millions of us have been facing with our “doctors”

So glad you're advocating for yourself and yes, you will become more informed than your regular allopathic PC. Don't allow them to gaslight you. Most PC docs will only test for the basics because of lab time and insurance. It's truly a sin that many are sick and feel there are no solutions because of 💰💰.

The smaller breed goats usually give a quart to a half a gallon. I have full sized Saanen Goats and I get a gallon and sometime a gallon and half with my milking. So if you’re wanting about a half a gallon to a gallon, you will probably need two mini goats to get that. Just sharing in case you did not know that. I milked a Nigerian dwarf goat and I would only get about a quart of milk a day out of her. Also praying for you and for a complete healing.

JOE, Can I suggest you place any small piece of wood (screw in place then you can remove) on top of any POST's you have to secure by hammering. This will stop the post's from SPLITTING, like the one's on the dock. Hope this helps?. You're doing such a great job building what will in time be your ideal homestead. God bless you all.
