Not to mention you didnt cleane spots where it was sealed back together. Doesnt matter what rtv you use if surface is not dry and clean it will leak.just my assumption from bein a 2o yr mechanic. Plus when splitting it your using a screw driver and a chisel. Should be using three or two jaw puller.sgill fascinating to watch

It's regular copper wire but it's just with extra heat resistant insulation because the motor will be submerged in the water for whatever many years . 👍🏼
