You should have Marion put shelves in that back closet and put your out of season clothes on the shelves. This is the prettiest your bedroom has ever looked. I just love it, that duvet is gorgeous.

I really like the way you styled the shelves. I would suggest a throw for the bed in the color of the curtains. Also, if it's possible to remove dresser nobbs, keep a lookout for some new hardware, maybe something in black? But well done, demonstrating how so much can be done with a very tight budget.

I love how your bedroom turned out! Wow, you really stuck in there with the furniture! I would of lost my patience 3 coats ago lol! Your patience and determination got you the result you wanted. So kudos to you! I know you said you dont want to paint your bedroom , but I think an off white or a cream color would look ideal with everything! Maby down the road... Couple years ago I did the woodgrain look with my furniture too, but I bought wood grain tools to use with the gel stain from Menards. When I took my closet doors down I had trouble with the rod staying in place, so I went to Menards and bought white plastic closet, rod sockets, one side of socket has a solid rim for the rod to fit into and other socket has a slit where you can pop the rod in and out to wash your curtains, it stops it from falling to the floor from opening and closing the curtains all the time.
Love everything. I think the plate matches.

I really enjoyed this video. We recently moved a year ago. My whole house was farmhouse so when I moved into the new house I decided I wanted to go Boho so now I have a farmhouse Boho so I know how you feel about that really loved it.
So glad you enjoyed watching! I'm not ready to fully embrace boho, and I still love farmhouse, so this was a good mix of the two. 😄

Just a suggestion, if you are going to leave your closet doors off, maybe either paint, or put some pretty peel and stick wallpaper over the lime green paint.☺️

You have to prime and sand a little for your new paint to look right.especially when going from dark to light.
I’m always so amazed by your ability to not drip any paint! I’m so sloppy and get paint everywhere and all over me 🫣😂

I love how everything turned out! Everything looks beautiful. I agree with what an earlier comment said about . Having Marion put shelves in that back closet. So you can place your out of season clothes or you could swap your side with Marion and you could put your sweaters on the shelves in the back closet.
Your bedroom is very pretty but, l come to you tonight and ask for prayers. February 29th mom and I went to bed about 11pm and around 3am we're woken to our house on fire. By the time the fire department got there we lost everything. Nothing was salvageable. The worst thing is we lost both of our cats. The best thing is thank god we both made it out unharmed. We've been staying in a Motel because we can't find anything else to rent. Please pray for us.

How do you sleep in there? Doesn't the fumes give you a headache? The duvet is my favorite color! I absolutely love the change!

The dresser and th nightstands turned out really nice. Try a steamer for the curtains, you won’t even have to take them dowm. It turned out really nice.

Your room is so pretty and it looks like a wonderful place to retreat to at the end of a long day. I think mixing two styles you love is the best way to make your decor uniquely you. I worry less about trends and more about what we love and what makes us feel at home. That is what your entire home reflects.

I really need to clean out my closet. I have several pieces of Boho decor in my bedroom also. I really love your new bedding. Hopefully, Clyde won't attack it. Lol. I was so confused when I first saw the intro and then you painted the dressers and nightstand in the light color. I just kept thinking "noooo" I love the darker wood. Lol. I absolutely love the way everything turned out. We just remodeled our kitchen and we have the same color scheme. Forest Green accent wall, white cabinets with walnut floors and black accents. I'm also late to this style but I tend to be late to everything anyway. Great job you two on a wonderful makeover.

Love your content. I am a Clyde fan, admittedly, even though his love language for Claire is unkind. He reminds me of my Jackie Chan (now gone). This video inspired me to consider some boho in my bedroom. I am trying to recover/manage from decades of insomnia. I feel the boho textures and colours could help to make life very comfy. The darker furniture grounds the room too ( I wondered if the bedspread would ground it enough). Beeeutiful Erica (I can't remember how it's spelled, sorry if I boo boo'd).

One question...did you take down the closet doors to try for a more BOHO look? I would have just painted them, or now seeing the finish on the dressers, maybe do the doors the same. Just wondering. Love it.
The way your husband can build I bet he could build closet shelves, etc. I did ny 1940 closet on a budget. I bought matching hangers, painted gold paint for cubby area, and painted my closet same color as my bedroom.

Painting the walls in the closet a bright white would help to brighten it up. I feel the lime green is too dark.

Just a thought ..wouod one of the dressers fit in the original closet? We have our chester drawers in our closets in all bedrooms. Those curtains in place of your closet doors definitely look better!!. Love the new bedding..such a pretty color.
It would be good to get rid of the lime green wall ! Next time, I'd buy the paint color you wanted , it would of saved you so much re painting. Looks better tho!! Kudos

Ok the dressers and how the paint was turning out pink made me nervous but As usual it turned out beautifully . Very light and airy . Love the curtains makes such a difference . Just lovely.

Looks great. I agree with the rub and buff on the big mirror, and maybe if it didn't drive you nuts, one of those draping plants like on your closet could be fun. Like a smaller one though.
Your using brown paint with a red undertone,mixing is giving the pink undertone. The room looks really nice.

I wonder if you had put a small amount of black paint in your mixture it would have taken the pink hue out. But, your bedroom is beautiful!
My home is the same way it was built in 1948 and my room is huge with 3 outlets. We had to run extension cords just to have a lamp on each side of the bed.
I’m not trying to be critical, but I thought the cat hair on my house was bad, but you’ve got me beat. Of course, you have 2 dogs also. We no longer have dogs. Our last died 3 years ago. We decided not to get another one due to our age. Love your videos. 23:33
