The rainbow Porsche is not for sale. After this show, it will be sent back to Porsche's museum in Germany. It is for celebration of 30th anniversary of Porsche in Thailand .
Because Thailand is Probably the only country where people believe that there are 7 days in a week. There will be a daily color for each day. Sunday = Red, Monday = Yellow, Tuesday = Pink, Wednesday = Green, Thursday = Orange, Friday = Light blue, and Saturday = Purple.
Great report Serg... I know that was a LOT of work. Glad you hit the Ford area... those Raptors btw have a max 3 liter displacement here. Been in Pattaya Thailand 6 months now and happened to be in Bangkok yesterday to go to Bumrungrand, so I passed through Asok on the BTS finally. Yeah I'm a New York City guy so I appreciate the size of Pattaya as I decompress, but yeah I'll start to look into day trips or overnights to the big city for stuff like the car show. Very impressive. Thanks !!
I spent about six hours at the show. There’s just so much to see. Honestly, I think the motor expo has a little bit more variety than the motor show. That one will be coming up in about seven or eight months. Bangkok has its pluses and minuses. Like anything else, it’s not perfect.
Cool video. Huge exibition and I am sure talking about cars and bikes does pump in lot of adrenaline to you. A short guy like me would surely be very happy to ride that Stuart Bello!
This was a great show. The motor expo (there is a Motor Expo, and a Motor Show every year) was a little bit bigger. It had more variety, but I still very much enjoyed this one. I liked the Stuart Bello! I would totally ride that!

Thank you for the video my friend💕💕💕
Thank you for all the information on the beautiful rainbow Porsche. It was really a beautiful car, although I would never want to drive something with so many different colors on it.
@@LifewithSerg I heard that it's just their theme for Thai day's color but you could really choose just only 1 color among those 7 they offered my friend and this rainbow first demo car will be ship to keep at their Porsche Museum soon.
Awesome car show Serg, you never disappoint with your content. I always get a laugh. The RS6 which you were drooling over was pretty sweet, did a Audi track day and yes that was one the cars to drive but wish I could grow my RS5 into one.
RS5 is a gorgeous car. So cool! Yeah, I have some weird affinity for station wagon’s. I’ve owned a couple of the BMW M Sport tourings, as well as a couple of the X5M models. The Audis are super sweet.
I agree that if I was to own a Porsche it would need to be in traditional paint scheme such as the Gulf or Rothmans Le Man's. How long do we have before the 911 will be phased out in favour of an electric car
Personally, I couldn’t imagine driving an all electric Porsche. Part of my love for cars, motorbikes, etc. is the sound of an internal combustion engine.
@Life with Serg I fully agree but that is the reality that we are faced with. Older Porsche 911 will become even more expensive as they become collectors items
Sadly... being a long term fan of Porsche, I can no longer justify $100K plus for a basic Porsche to sit in traffic.. there is just very few places to drive any car or bike that begs for you to take it thru curves at speed.... my recent cars are covered in dings from idiots, and my F150 Echo Boost truck has front and rear "painted" bumpers that are full of rust from the country stone roads... our new car lots around here are nothing but trucks... Made In Canada ... want anything else... it's a 12 to 18 month waiting list for most... I'm Leaning towards a Cadillac CT4-V (old mans sedan) since any other performance car, Audi, Lexus, BMW and so on are a 2 hour drive to a service location.... the F150 Echo Boost is fun to "Put Your Foot" into it, while still being practical up here is Cottage Country...the Cadillac CT4-V while wonderful on straight roads has a life altering "Nose Dive", when cornering at high speed.... sadly, the most fun I have had in a car lately was test driving the Hyundai Kona N Line... cute little peppy car, maybe I will get one, and spend a couple thousand dollars on a dual turbo CRY02 kit.. but then your into the read end issues... anyways, around here its the last generation of "American Muscle" at our local car shows... dozens of Model "T"'s, 396 Chevelle's, Ford original "T" Birds, even a lime green Super Bee ( he wants 400K for it at the last Barrett show) ... as a Porsche guy, I was an outsider... love your video... got the money.. and a 3 car garage... just hate to see something pretty in the garage begging to be driven... oh well...British cars are back... but having spent more time under TR 4's, 5, 6's and 7's and the odd mini for racing a long time ago, then in them driving... well ... and most still have Lucas Electronics... pass... Thanks Ted
I know exactly what you’re saying. I want many many different cars over my lifetime, and it’s weird living here in Bangkok, and not having a car for a whole year. I know some people that are on Porsches in Ferraris, and other crazy super cars. I just don’t understand what they do with them here. The roads here are beyond terrible for those kinds of cars. When I asked the tech art representative, he told me that his average customer buys these $800,000 cars so they can get better parking spots at the shopping malls, to show off of them, and maybe they take them to the race track once a year. Absolute waste. I think here, if you wanted to spend the money, the Mercedes G wagon or BMW X5M competition will be the way to go. Any of these sports cars would get roasted by the roads. I’ve been borrowing my friends, Mazda, two diesel sedan often on for the last year that I’ve lived here. It’s a perfect, compact car for these roads. Living in Bangkok, I really don’t have much use for a car. I’m with you, the new Porsches are just ridiculously expensive. And the last thing I would want here, is anything with an Lucas electrical system. Lol.
It’s funny that you see motor expo. I thought it was the same thing. But this is actually run by different people and that’s why it’s called motor show. But yes, I know exactly what you mean! 555.
Those ADV hybrids, apparently give you lots of back pain in longer rides. Look at your foot position in relation to your seat. You will "catch" all bumps with your lower back instead of with help of your feet.
I would have to disagree. I rode one for four days on Koh Samui. I didn’t have any issues with it. On the other hand, I find a PCX to be a total POS. Ridiculously uncomfortable and horrible suspension.
I’ve done multiple 200km rides on the several Honda MSX (Grom) I had in the US as well as 200km rides here on a 155 NMAX. I’m sure I can stomach a similar ride on an ADV 150. have you ridden an ADV before? All of these smaller motorbikes/scooters generally suck for longer rides. They are just not made for it. However, it is totally doable.
If there's a 300% mark up on foreign made cars, does that mean Thai government wants Thai people to buy cars made in Thailand? Which cars are made in Thailand?? Tuk tuks??
Yes that’s what it means. Honda, isuzu, Toyota, Mazda, Ford, BMW and several others manufacture cars in Thailand. BUT, they still have models not made in Thailand so those have a huge markup.
Hi Serg it's a really big Motorshow. I would prefer the cheap cars. Because a Porsche is beyond my options. I would prefer a Camaro from the 70th or the Trans Am. It's only a dream nothing else. 🤣. . Thank you for the beautiful Impressions from the Show. Greetings from Nürnberg
