Love the edger, Love the saw mill too! I watched The Eddie Channel first, it was great he has learned much from you doing your channel. I could almost put both side by side and have a 180 around. Had my snack and desert too! Cheers Gentlemen! John Toccoa GA
I'm now an Eddi-ite too. I get both barrels of the Bus Motor Mill! 😊 Cant wait for the next ones to come out. Thanks guys...best of luck Eddie! I know you'll do well!
I love your channel I have been watching for a long time and it makes my day. I love to see people that knows what a work ethic is in this day and age. Eddie's channel will do great.
Cool Mr. Horvath. I'm subscribing to your channel once I finish viewing the snack. Its like an appetizer. 😂 Thanks for explaining how the edger gets set up. I was curious how that all went.
Every time you make man glitter it’s perfect for little chief smokers because in those things the right size pieces is critical. Cherry -oak - hickory smoking wood. Bag it up and sell.
Very interesting how your new edger works. It's rather similar to some of the saws the local furniture company I worked at use to this day. I imagine the feed rollers pinch the boards tightly to prevent the possibility of kickback, which can be extremely dangerous to the operator(s).
Three thirty in the morning watching you guys like the edger smart pice of machinery, it’s snowing hear I’m up because I was called out to a van off the road tractor and winch got it back on the road I’ve now pulled the plug for the phone out and the mobile is in the workshop this trick should give me some sleep, have a nice day guys
Couple of questions... when you saw, and its not for an order, do you saw random widths on the edger or do you try to saw to standard widths like 4", 6", 8"? When you were showing the saw blades, was that collection of square tubes the anti-kickback pawls or is it something else?
@@markgalicic7788 I was the one who commented on the flickering after the new camera went online. The light flicker was bad and I know it's also a common effect on filming under LED's, that issue has been around since people first tried filming with a TV in the picture, my biggest problem was while the image was flickering the saw action looked like an old clay-mation video of dinosaurs from the 30's and was annoying. if you go back to that vid about a week ago you can see the saw image jumping all over like it had parkenson's, but it's all gone now, I think you fixed it. Marty down in Baltimore by what's left of Beth Steel.
They make the trim saw table with two lasers and the saw blades follow the laser where all you do is line up the laser lines on the edges and send it through.
You need a foot pedal on that edger, give it a tap to activate the conveyor belt, runs until the board is fed thru then stops. I'm surprised they didn't build it that way.
6:15 Me thinks that Mr Galicic may think of building a bar with all the wood that you have lying around. Why? All them guys at your mill fighting to help for a beer. You'd have really inexpensive labour and customers, when the bar was done. You could call the bar ''THE ARTEMUS HANGOUT''.
Do you always saw your edging boards separately from the main saw. What I mean is, why don’t you guys edge while you’re sawing the main saw. I’m 3rd gen sawyer, we always are using both at the same time….it’s a sprint but it’s way faster.
I think it works great , the old edger had a longer infeed and you could rest the board on it but this has a short infeed so you need to stop the belt.
Sounds like a nice spinoff channel this 'Time with TheEddie Horvath' I think it would be interesting to see what it's like to be TheEddies cell mate at the State Pen, or was that Penn State? A better name might be, 'Doing Time With TheEddie'
There is no problem with your camera, its youtube that is causing the flickering, they want people to switch to their non free youtube, $14.99 here in canada. They say with ad free and better quality video.
video is different the number plates used to be readable in most of the shots , but now are out of focus and the film looks grainy. Not a complaint , trying to help. Rudy
Very cool! Thanks for shedding some light on the edger rig.
thanks your welcome.

thank you John , great comment!

thank you Anthony.
Sorry for asking, but what is the blue dot on some logs?
The pith “center” , sometimes the pith is hard to see because of the anchor seal “the green paint”
that is the center of the pith.
Wonderful! Thanks Guys and God Bless!
thanks Lewie.
U 2!@@markgalicic7788

That sight is a great idea to help minimize waste on that side of the board.
Bill
yes it works great.
Thanks!
Thank you Dale!

Subbed to Eddie's channel...waiting on ZZ's channel. Buzzy won't have a channel, he's camera shy lol
thank you Dave , ZZ may do one someday but true about Buzzy lol!
You guys are always the "buzz" !!!!!!! Thanks for the video.
thank you alan.
When do we get a tour of the Cat loader? The short is just that to short. Would be nice to see it in action loading the log deck.
When you are using both blades do you "eye up" where you want the board cut on the left blade ?

I really like your smack videos !
What type of price are you looking at for an edger like that ?
Frame rate looks good Mark.
Nice job of sawing
I am snacking on cinnamon/raisin bagels coated with gooey peanut butter .. as the saw mills
that sounds good lol.
Looks pretty grainy to me.....
Love the video regardless.
Stupid question: How do you identify what kind of wood your logs are?
hello mark & eddies & it's is randy and i like yours video is cool thanks mark & eddies friends randy
what kind of car was that in the background in the opening part of the video?
Just watched it and subscribed..

I think you guys shoot a great video

thanks John.

Hey mark, what's up? You doing a very good job, of course that's your normal practice. All the best mark,,I'm viewing from the Caribbean.
thank you , send us some nice warm weather!
Anytime you ready,
I was waiting for ya!

Hey guys..... have you ever watched any of the Bushcraft Shelters videos? on youtube. Survival with wood and hand tools in the wild forests.❤❤❤❤
Do you always saw your edging boards separately from the main saw. What I mean is, why don’t you guys edge while you’re sawing the main saw. I’m 3rd gen sawyer, we always are using both at the same time….it’s a sprint but it’s way faster.
😊😊😊😊😊😊
thank you.
A scooby snack
I like it lol!
thank you.
To bad you have to shut off the conveyor belt every time....think they would come up with a process that would let it continue to operate.....
I was thinking that too
I think it works great , the old edger had a longer infeed and you could rest the board on it but this has a short infeed so you need to stop the belt.
@@markgalicic7788 You would struggle to get the plank set up for trimming if the conveyor was moving all the time
Eddy I’m 378 🇺🇸👍
thank you!

The video looks about the same to me, but now I don't see that laser
I agree...the vids were fine, Mark.
Mark the video log-grapher :-D
Everything looks good to me... of course, I'm having cataract surgery in a month so, take that for what it's worth. LOL
Lately your audio is extremely low I have to put my volume wide open to hear you the picture comes through very good it's very clear
Sub 381 here 😊
thank you!
Abba Yabba get on with it
I’m not sure what problem you’re trying to work out. No flickering here and don’t remember ever seeing any.
nice guys ty cool
Why don’t you leave the hydraulics on all time?
Need better and closer camera position for edger.
Flickering is nonexistant today Mark.
yes I think I fixed it.
There is no problem with your camera, its youtube that is causing the flickering, they want people to switch to their non free youtube, $14.99 here in canada. They say with ad free and better quality video.
I changed the frame rate and fixed the problem.
Vide looks a bit jerky. Was fine on previous days
video is different the number plates used to be readable in most of the shots , but now are out of focus and the film looks grainy. Not a complaint , trying to help. Rudy
What are you gonna name the edger? How about Eager Edger?
not sure yet.
.
I don't care for these short videos.
