      I got mine at Lowes. I'm sure you can get it at most hardware stores.

    Great build!!! Very neatly done with all the wires you must have. Sorry about your dad. Believe me I know how you must feel. I'm sure he is watching and probably helped you without you knowing. I'm sure he is proud of you. Keep building and making video's. You really do great work and thanks for sharing. We really appreciate it. Thank you..

    Hey bro, that’s a very awesome car that you built right there!!! I was looking for a video just like yours and I’m glad that I found it. Sorry to hear about your dad that’s pretty sad. I own one of those bodies is just orange collar and I would like to do something like that maybe you can guide me through enough already, with something as good as yours.

      Thank you for your very kind comment. Just had a lot on my plate for a while and I haven't been able to help out very many people with rc stuff for a while. Lost my mother back several months ago and everything going on has made life a little rougher than normal. Sorry to share so much with you. Thanks a ton for your support on our channel.

    Very good work on this build and sorry to hear about your dad. My dad just got out of the hospital Thursday he has stage 2 lung cancer. Keep your head up buddy and if you need any thing let me know. Happy Trailing 😁

      @Codesempire  7 років тому +1

      Thanks so kindly bro! I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. It's not easy at all. I think what made things so hard for all of us including my Mom is that things were totally fine and he went to bed and never woke up. I'm doing better about it, but his birthday was recently and that was a little tough. Thanks a ton and you let me know if you ever need any thing too. Just to talk really helps! Take care Dolan!

    Do you take orders I have a Cadillac Escalade 1:6 scale that I would like to make it into a remote control like this Hummer so I can play and show my son how to use it

    • @Codesempire
      @Codesempire  7 років тому

      I wish I could help you out! Something of this size would be very expensive to ship and my hands are full with personal projects. If you was local it might be something I could try to help you with over time. I love seeing young kids getting into the hobby and having a blast with rc's!

  • @joshmartin7924
    @joshmartin7924 7 років тому

    Just ordered my 1/6 hummer and am very pumped to start this build. I will habe more newbright hard body scale trucks than I do actual rc manufactures haha. What size are the wheels 5.75 inches

    • @Codesempire
      @Codesempire  7 років тому

      That's awesome! It's one fun conversion for sure! Yea they are 5.75". They worked out perfect for this build.

    • @joshmartin7924
      @joshmartin7924 7 років тому

      Ok thanks. I have some tires laying around that are 5" so they will habe to do for now. Thanks for the in-depth review on your build its a great setup. I will be doing a complete teardown and build video on my channel. I will let you know when it's posted up. The ks again

    Were those axles the size for a 1/10 car?

    • @Codesempire
      @Codesempire  3 роки тому

      Yes. There is a full description of what's in this complete build in the description. They are for an axial wraith.

    Too bad New Bright doesn't install interiors in their large scale RC's anymore..Nice build BTW.

    • @Codesempire

      I was wondering that after we found another used one recently without an interior. I guess we got the right one with this yellow H2! Thanks a ton for stopping in and commenting! ;-)

  • @DaveStarr4

    I defiantly agree..yeah it would.....you can find that at www.rc4wd.com too........putting one on both of my hummers in the futer got to figure out how to connect it to the original motherboard though.............if you have any ideas on how to do that........please let me know

    • @Codesempire
      @Codesempire  6 років тому

      Yea RC4WD is one of my favorite places to shop. As far as hooking it up, the winches need a controller unit which will then plug into your power and into your receiver. Most of my winch controllers I run right off of the main power to make sure I don't have any issues at all. To try to wire them up any other way you will run the risk of damaging them. I will always pay that extra money for that controller unit. Wish I could be more help for you. Good luck!

    • @DaveStarr4
      @DaveStarr4 6 років тому

      hey thanks that was helpful come to think about it........I could wire the winch controller power in to the main power source on the motherboard having the main power source from the motherboard power the controller as well then to the receiver which should work with no problems

  • @DaveStarr4
    @DaveStarr4 6 років тому

    all you need now is a 1:8th scale winch

    • @Codesempire
      @Codesempire  6 років тому

      Yea that would sure add to this already fun RC! ;-)
