Dont understand why the gen 6 games went with official art. I know they did that with steven in oras, but still it feels a bit off that only some forgettable characters (az and the rivals except for maybe serena/calem) got 3d models while everyone else got official art. Hell, even the TEAM FLARE GRUNTS got 3d models, why not everyone else.

Often enough people don’t notice their actions until they are told that they are at fault. Another thing, is that Iris in the anime only has her Pokémon as companions in life, at least Ash and, everyone for has a support group. From what I’ve seen she only has shown to have a grandfather who she can really call family and, he excepted her from a very young age to be take on his role as gym leader and, head elder of her village. Maybe her behaviors root cause stems from this. That and, she’s to smart for her own good, which results in a lose, lose situation for Iris a 10 year old girl. You know getting in trouble is a natural way for some people to get attention, maybe that’s why she got in trouble for doing stupid things like climbing that building alone. Maybe she wanted her grandpa, to actually show her some much needed attention cause she was lonely. I don’t understand why people don’t actually see why someone dose an action, it seems they only care that the act was done in the first place, not the reasoning behind it.
Unpopular opinion: I liked Iris in the anime. She was decent and cool. She just has a habit of scolding Ash. That's Misty's job. Lol. ANYWAY. So I watched the anime a bit before I played White. Cool! She was a gym leader! Then White2 came to me. Anime was still rolling. I was watching an episode while playing. Seeing Iris in the champion room was an amazing twist to me. My jaw hung open just as it did when I first saw Cynthia as a champion. (And her unexpected challenge in White. Stepping inside a room and instantly hearing that piano had me panicking.) "IRIS IS THE CHAMPION?! WHAT?! NO WAY! THAT'S SO COOL!" It had to be dragons. And I remember seeing her Lapras and going; "Why does she have an ice-type?! She hates the cold!" Man. I battled her so many times. If my Arcanine didn't know Bulldoze, I would had lost that first fight for sure. Thank you Bulldoze. I was 13 back then. Now I'm 20, and watching this video has me in the mood to challenge her again for nostalgia. I love that V.S screen so much. You have no idea.
I hear the first notes of that theme with that VS screen, and I get so many chills all over my body. Black and Black 2 will always be my favorite Pokemon games, and they were certainly one hell of an experience. Can't wait for Pitch Black and Blinding White.
I’d hope so; there are medals that require beating the E4 and Iris with Mono type teams and considering that the first time you battle them is the easiest, it takes a long time to accomplish.
There is 3 rules when being a dragon trader 1: you have to be 8th gym leader, elite 4, or champion 2: you can not have a full team of dragon types 3: you have to have a fully evolved dragon that is below the level it needs to evolve (aka an illegal dragon)
I still get chills watching things like this, and remembering my childhood moments fighting these champions. I always loved the VS screen for this one and the theme.
No one should have hyper beam on any Pokémon save a Pokémon with an ability to make two turn move happen in one turn or if they are battling with Gen 1 rules.

It did. I'm just realizing that from watching this. They were getting really good with the 2D by this point. Look how much everything moves and is animated and how dynamic everything is compared to where we started in Generation 1. It's beautiful really. Pokemon hasn't really been the same since it left 2D, I think.
Iris' battle is so good! Its a tough challenge, no matter the team you bring with you. It took me forever to beat her the first time, and I love her for that. Shes a great final battle of Black and White 2, although I do feel she couldve been built up a bit more.

My team for Iris the first time? Vaporeon, Braviary, Flygon, Virizion, Lucario, and Emboar. I played most of the game on Challenge Mode so the League was harder, but it was still fun ^^
Black and white 2 is easiest cause there are other wild trainers and pokemon breeders that you can battle them many many times so you can farm a lot of exp

But one was definitely Flygon. I remember now thank you!! 🥰 Edit: I Googled if Salamence was in B/W2 and apparently he was so definitely I had Salamence also. Salamence has always been one of my most favorites so I know he was part of that team. That just leaves one more which must have been my starter, which was now Serperior. Thank you for helping me remember this I was really trying hard to remember. 😅
Iris is one of the best champions in the entire pokemon franchise, she also has one of the best champion themes in the pokemon universe, and has a great pokemon team, overall, I love her and she's amazing!

I love Unova's themes of Medieval Fantasy. Iris is my favorite because she's a princess at the very top protected by monsters and dragons, reached after beating the Dark Lord and the Four Heavenly Kings.
Iris tho was an amazing battle. I remember trying over and over as a kid to beat her, but I finally did when somehow her Haxorus died from my flame body ability, which made the team easier to kill. I love Black and White 2, and this brings back memories

My last BW2 team was Samurott Arcanine Flygon Lucario Galvantula Gothitelle In the first fight she almost swept me with Haxorus, Arcanine survived and finished it. The second time... Galvantula murdered 3-4 of her Pokemon. Both battles were in set mode

I don't know why, but when I was a child, I remember I saw in Wikidex (A spanish Pokémon Wiki) that if you beat the Pokémon League a certain number of times, Iris would get a Kyurem in her team. I know, that would be too strange, considering Kyurem is a Legendary Pokémon. Today, I remembered that and then, I searched the Wikidex, I watched the Iris' info. and she never gets a Kyurem. Then how could I remember something like that? It's very strange...
What I find funny just now is that in the anime, Iris is now the Unova Champion to match her game counterpart. Anime Iris hates Ice Types, but game Iris has an Ice Type in the form of Lapras. I wonder if they'll ever acknowledge this fact if she does return in the future at some point.

i got pokémon white 2 for my 4th birthday for my DS. i tried so hard to beat the elite 4 with an underleveled team, i just couldn’t. then, after 8 years of playing pokémon i returned to beat white 2. with a time of 40.2 hours i beat iris and the champion.

I don't know why, but when I was a child, I remember I saw in Wikidex (A spanish Pokémon Wiki) that if you beat the Pokémon League a certain number of times, Iris would get a Kyurem in her team.
I know, that would be too strange, considering Kyurem is a Legendary Pokémon.
Today, I remembered that and then, I searched the Wikidex, I watched the Iris' info. and she never gets a Kyurem.
Then how could I remember something like that? It's very strange...
Maybe a dream? Or some guy did it as a joke and someone changed it?
Truly the most powerful Champion in Pokemon history.
What I find funny just now is that in the anime, Iris is now the Unova Champion to match her game counterpart. Anime Iris hates Ice Types, but game Iris has an Ice Type in the form of Lapras. I wonder if they'll ever acknowledge this fact if she does return in the future at some point.

I love this battle and this music, and everybody thinks it was a hard battle but I had Scrafty in my B/W and my B/W 2 team and the battle against Iris was kinda easy (Thank u so much High Jump Kick)

i got pokémon white 2 for my 4th birthday for my DS. i tried so hard to beat the elite 4 with an underleveled team, i just couldn’t. then, after 8 years of playing pokémon i returned to beat white 2. with a time of 40.2 hours i beat iris and the champion.

Black 2: Mandibuzz, Eleckross, Lucario, Darmanitan, Starmie, and Serperior
White 2: Braviary, Magnezone, Krookodile, Leavanny, Arcanine, and Samurott
Mine was Hydreigon, Salamence, Volcarona, Serperior, Flygon, and Haxxorus. Iris thought she had powerhouses but so did I.
