I visited there back in April of 2017 & loved it...yes it got very hot, & surprisingly enough, me being from Wisconsin, & used to cooler temps, I actually got pretty used to the weather in AZ in one weeks time...**um ...as long as i had a bottle of ice water with me wherever i walked to** 😉😄😅
I was raised in Casa Grande, Arizona and 4 of my children was born there. Now I live in Maricopa but I still consider C G my main home yet I was born in Texas. My mother and many of my family members graves are in CG. I pray I am here to see the desert Disney World In Casa Grande.
Well mayor Bob, it’s now December 2013, new housing is busting at the seems!! In another year it’ll take an hour to drive from Pinal Ave to I-10….. there are 6-7 new neighborhoods being built, 2 or 3 luxury apartments complexes and still only 1 weed store!! We’re doing our best to move OUT of casa grande to beat the congestion!!
Only thing good about it is the Mexican food Little sombrero is the best. Need to put one in Chandler and Scottsdale areas man that would sell like hot cakes. But I’m not a small town person I like the outdoors but I like forest regions when I do that but I like places close to Phx like Chandler or Scottsdale to be close to society with nightclubs and casinos and old school lounges like Irish pubs. Not much to do in CG except it just looks depressing. It’s like the people who gave up or went broke live here especially Coolidge with lots of gang and drug activities yes there’s that crap in Phx but I never seen a small town made up entirely of those type of people which is sad. But yep just the way it looks down town and all around CG it looks hot 🥵 all year long even in the winters during Christmas time. Dusty that’s all of this region of the southwest because of the monsoon or just those unusual days when it’s really windy it gets dusty.
Anyone know anything about history of mayor assassinated and natives stoning someone to death might have been kids playing cops and robbers taking them to judge,mayor? Choke to death
