Adoring Fan is also the only companion who never judges you besides the robot. Also he can carry quite a bit with his starting skills, making him the perfect pack mule. 10/10 Trait, never leave home without him.
Ngl the enlightened and universum ones are super diaappointing, the benefit is essentially 4 med packs because the other items are lame and theres barely any new dialogue outside of the respective church buildings (even when discussing religion with companions) I think kid stuff and wanted are a must, theres almost no downside but tons of rewards from kid stuff and lots of dialogue options from wanted (and the occasional loot + low health bonus) Hero worshipped is also pretty good, i dont use him as a companion i just love hearing his lines when hes on my ship, it sounds like the va has loads of fun But most of the other stuff are just stat bonuses which wont make much difference after around level 10 which is a shame but they're still worth picking up if u have a spare slot
No, I wouldn't even say its better than Oblivion or Fallout 4. I think the best parts of this game are the traits and skill tree but everything else kinda falls apart the longer you play.
Taskmaster and Extrovert/Introvert are must-haves, IMHO. The third comes down to personal preference.

You can’t never leave home without him because he will follow you
But he can leave you and never return. It’s a bug
I'm so excited to have the fan back.
Happy you made it to 3k yay good job

The big question im asking is. Is this better than fallout new vegas
No but it’s Bethesda’s best rpg since Morrowind
Lots of ppl consider new vegas onw of the best games of all time, so if ur one of those ppl then probably not lol
So Bethesda peaked already
