I wish Todd had committed more to the battle damage so he could look more death of Superman-ish. Instead of another Superman that I’ll probably just use for kitbashing.
I have the same issue with the one knee not going all the way down, while the other one being the loosest joint on the body. Same sides too, so I’m pretty sure it’ll be consistent on every figure. Also you can pull doomsdays torso higher up on its mid waist peg to give him even more height.
The pulled back hair looks more like rabbit ears like Usagi Yoimbo is depicted with than actual hair. If they weren't going to redo Doomsday's upper arms, they could have at least painted the tattered fabric to match his pants/boots, and it could have looked like remains of the rest of his containment suit.
@@opusbasketballacademy1112 did I claim I was the one who thought of it first? No, I did not. I DID however, think the same thing BEFORE I saw his video.
that repaint you did for Doomsday is just....perfection..I'd LOVE to know what you did to get that bone-y yellowish white color for his spiky protrusions!!
i like the doomsday figure and i do plan on getting one but this look with the tied up hair just doesnt make any sense to me for doomsday like where did he get a hair tie and wh y did he even care to use it
I’m a Superman fan, but I returned my set. The more I looked at it, the least I liked. I think the main problem was them using the ‘Death of Superman’ storyline for the Superman figure, but he looks nothing like it! Also, the colors and details for Doomsday are not there, so I’m okay not having this one in my collection!
I think it's a bit an embarassing situation for the engineering of the figure where the new legs can be tighter and the arms, like the Devastator, are too tight
This set is ok for what it is. However, it seems like your giving way too much credit to Mcfarlane for a poorly executed set. No fly stand, fist hands for a fighting Superman, no S on the Cape or a cape on a pole for Superman, not to include the same buck. Missed painted boots and colors for Doomsday plus the 90% of the joints loose on apparently all figures. Yes!! something is better than nothing but unless you're a diehard fan of Superman or the Mcfarlane toys this might not be what you're looking for. Not a great set at all.
Why don't you compare the DC icons superman with the McFarlane one, why keep it hidden if you already compared the doomsday figure with the icons. So funny man 😂
Oh boy, no wonder the abdomen of Doomsday looks too small and weird-shaped, it is a lazy reuse of a way smaller product! Its diaper also looks weird, almost the same size as its chest! So same as most of the time on Mcfarlane products, great review 👍 but garbage product 💩. DCD version is much better.
This cannot top the DC icons two pack. Please don't brag and lie saying this is amazing man. The amount of crap you say is really pathetic to be honest.
The only thing I don't like is how Devastator's torn sleeves are still on the upper arms of Doomsday, just recolored grey.

The lack of the shield on the cape is criminal given that it's literally right there on the artwork.
Really good set. Honestly, this is probably the best looking Doomsday figure to date, from any company.

At least credit toyshiz for the usagi yojimbo comparison

4:28 LOL
9:33 who’s hair did you put on the red son head? That looks great!
probably the hush superman one
I forgot that Doomsday wore bright green biker shorts. LOL
I may repaint for a darker green look.
How does he remove the paint?.

How come Superman couldn’t be battle damage it just has to have a few scratches

Hey, how did you remove the painted on damage from Superman?
Dunno why Supes doesn't come with fist hands, especially if he comes with Doomsday!?
Can't wait for Mine
Do you recommend this Doomsday over the mattel dc multiverse new 52 Doomsday?
Why no Emblem at Superman's cape? They put it on the box art and completely forgot Superman figure wears a cape.
Worth picking up (once deeply discounted) for the Doomsday, otherwise this would've been another easy pass as usual with McFarlane.
Hey Brad sorry to ask a stupid question...did you use rubbing alcohol too take the blood of the boots?
Walmart wants a $100 for this 2 label Gold Pack. Crazy 🤦
Great set. Got it also.💪
I think the best Doomsday is the Mattel "Unleashed" one, that Doomsday is sick!
Just picked this set up!
Doomsday is a huge Ariana Grande fan!
Joking aside, I like this Doomsday figure a lot. This is a one and done Doomsday figure for me. Im satisfied.

A $100 for a Gold Label 2 pack? Damn..
i dont like the paint app. bones should have been more white to makes it pop.

I think this set is incredible. It behooves me to state that mcfartlane has been renamed ' mcfarlane ' because of the goodest job done on this one 👍💯
A fantacula review
I don't sleep on any of them, I'm simply in a comma from lack of money. Thanks for another great review Brad. 😁👍

a Super Sunday
idk if i like brad anymore :(

Nice spikes, terrible hair

But it's the wrong version of superman and doomsday! Seams, no logo on cape....
