We've had Sam's and Costco memberships. We personally prefer Costco. I just bought a big shampoo and conditioner set for 20 bucks. The same amount of the same product at Walmart or Target would be 60 bucks. I truly believe Costco and Sam's both absolutely save money for people. That one purchase of shampoo/conditioner saved 40 bucks, which is about half the cost of membership. I saved half the cost of membership on just one item.
I watched your Meijer video the other day, and decided to go there for my Christmas meal. I was very glad I did. I found a lot of bargains. The ham for 89 cents a pound was great, also the canned veggies were 39 cents a pound . A lot of the food at Sam's club makes me think"our large highly toxic bulk food is a real bargain." I guess I am at a different place in my food journey.
Good Morning ☀️ ❤ Danno and Jess❤❤❤ yes it’s absolutely worth getting a Sams Club membership! I love going in there! You do have to get there when they are putting the clothes out or within like 2 weeks to get the bigger sizes they sell out fast

If you have the Sam's app on your phone, you can do gas. I have done it twice this year. (I don't regularly do Sam's gas - only on trips if I pass a location for cheaper fuel -- usually I do Kroger with fuel points.)
Thanks so much for going to Sam's club. I live in the middle of nowhere Montana. Sam's is 60 miles away from me. I mostly order online with free shipping. About every 2 months I drive in and get things they don't ship. I always find something new to order in your video. So THANKS AGAIN!

Hey, Danno! I saw an article yesterday that had 25 items that may go away or be impacted in 2025 because of possible changes in laws. They pertain to food additives, some of which are banned in other countries. I'll list them in case anyone wants to start stocking up if it's something that you may want to keep using while you can. -Canned soups -Artificial sweeteners -Microwave popcorn -Pasta sauces -Sweetened condensed milk -Frozen pizza -Processed cheese ( my Velveeta!!!) --Artificial food flavorings -Instant noodles -Pre-packaged salads -Breakfast toaster pastries -Energy bars -Beef jerky -Farmed salmon -Flavored oatmeal -Sports drinks -Vegetable chips -Flavored water -Pre-packaged pancake mix -Low-fat yogurt -Pre-packaged smoothies -Rice mixes -Powdered drink mixes -Imitation crab meat -Shelf-stable coffee creamers I think that a lot of these will be reformulated and will not taste anything like the original. Plus, of course, it will costore
I counted 9 of them, I would miss. In actuality I don't think much of anything will change. The companies that make these products are way to powerful. I think if they wanted to improve America's health they would have to make major changes to food programs. That will never happen. Some of the products listed, I don't even know what's wrong with them.
I know this is off topic, and can be a challenge, please consider switching to a stainless steel refillable k cup for your machine. The plastic for k cups heat up and release the chemicals in the coffee while brewing. I know I'm the short term it's not a problem but after a long term use they're known as endocrine/hormone disruptors as the body is steadily exposed, same for playoff food containers eventhough they're bpa free, there's 2 other b. Type chemicals as well. I know this is a grocery money saving channel and Danno and Jess do an excellent job in the filming. Just food for thought as I'm dealing with something that is directly affected by hormones that is probably related to outside environmental exposure over a lifetime of not knowing until recently.
If you cut up some Vienna sausages put in some rice with either softito or reciato n a good olive oil good basic rice. You could also put an egg on top.
Purchased at Safeway a 6.79 pound beef rib roast for $17.01. Waited till it went on sale, saved my points for the last month and a half. Original price was $122. Sale price was $54. I paid $17. I only purchase sale items at Safeway and it has to be as cheap as Walmart or Winco. Thank goodness I paid attention when my Grandma taught me how to grocery shop sales in the 70’s.
I agree, Sam's club is worth the membership cost even for small, two member households. With small households, buying in bulk can be problematic since our consumption rate is low; I ususally restrict my purchases to clothing and consumables such as garbage bags, dish washing tablets, bottled water, etc. I do not like Sam's baked goods nearly as much as Meijer or Kroger and the last time I was at Sam's I bought some of the Halo oranges. My wife complains that they are not at all juicy. I will not buy again.
We mostly buy small amounts of produce on sale, canned veggies on sale, fruit on sale, lower costs of meat, dairy on sale and 3.99 or below per lb., bread and cereal. Saves a lot on groceries.
I will not pay full price for a membership. Last year, we got a $15 membership since my wife is a teacher (that deal expired). Once the membership ran out, we did not renew - and I don't miss it. I might do the $20.00 membership deal that is out there since I would be the primary instead of my wife, but haven't decided. Pharmacy is a good deal with Sam's.
I love Sams Club! Always stock my water from them . That’s the only canned peas I buy , the canned salmon is also wild caught! I just had 4 chuck roast delivered yesterday for my freezer. Thank you!
Costcos apple pie is far better than Sam’s, my opinion of course, I’ve tried both will only buy Costco apple pie. Love your videos you and Jess are wonderful!❤️
Waterloo is my favorite brand of flavored seltzer water. I was thrilled to see them on my last trip there. I was even more pleased when I saw that none of the flavors were raspberry (which seems to be the craze these days)! They are all very good. The grape reminds me of Welch's grape juice, with no sugar, of course. LeSeur peas were my grandmother's favorite, but were expensive (way more than regular green peas) even back in the 60s. They were reserved for Sunday dinner ( what we called lunch on Sundays ... don't ask me why) and special occasions. Sam's has the best price on Velveeta anywhere. I always get a pack when I go. This is the time of year that I like to make Broccoli Cheddar Soup and Velveeta makes it sooo good 😋 I also use it in my Chicken Spaghetti. And don't forget Rotel Dip!😊
we have sams club and costco and love sams cub so much more.I dont know why everybody does not use scan n go.The lines are always long.I cant imagine they are not aware of it.
We have the Sams Plus membership. When I got the email a while back that we will no longer get free shipping unless the order was $50 or more, I decided to cancel our membership! I might go back after the new year if they do one of the cheap offers, but definitely won't do the Plus one again.
We just recently got a membership with Costco. I have to say the one we go to in Centerville Ohio is great! We went to Sam’s for years but feel Costco has more to offer and more organic choices which I want.
Even though it's just me, I think my Sam's Club membership is worth it. They have things that I can't find at other stores. I like to buy some things in bulk ... toilet paper, paper towels, and aluminum foil are a few.
CHEERS FROM CANADA ! Love the cookie jars .... and those pears looked so yummy . The price of beef ???? The chuck roast looked good , but the prime rib and rib eye was almost painful to imagine spending that much . Price of beef is crazy everywhere you look .
Not happy with Sams. Have a Plus membership but won't renew in February. Not happy we don't get free shipping anymore AND the 2% cash back DOES NOT apply to online or delivery orders! I don't want 'free delivery' as it's not free (must tip). Give free ship back like it was. Not worth double the $ for Plus anymore
I used to work for the Sams Club in Loveland..I got laid off and the store closed so when my membership expired I never renewed it. Closet one is 22 miles away one way.
I do not have a Sams Club membership as the nearest one is an hour drive away. I jump through all the Kroger hoops and get good deals there and the fuel points help too.
Waiting for that olive oil to go down. Purina Cat food, dry, is down but it won't last. Purina Dog Chow is getting close to $30 but it's cheaper than Walmart for 4lbs. more. But..Sam's Club is down 7lbs from what they used to be. We are trying to use the free shipping as much as possible to make the membership worth the price. It saves us the gas to drive to the store. But where else can two adults get lunch for $4.15 and have to take some home? And I really like the pizza. I always get my Coffee Mate there but had it shipped last week. Much cheaper than in any other store. We looked at their Calcium/D3. Found out we have been getting hosed at other places. $8 and change for a huge bottle and double the strength. We will be checking again when we run out. Does anyone know about their Member's Mark supplements? Last week we ordered their Armour Vienna Sausage. $12 and change for 18 cans. We fry them and make gravy and pour it over biscuits. Cheap and we won't starve for a while when SHTF. We bought Libby's from there once and they were inedible. Gross. Took them back. Folks who are going "Yuck" now need to learn to eat anything because times are going to get rough. Oh, and "Good morning, everyone!"
@@tonette6592 I was fairly well stocked up when it was in the $13 to $16 range but now that it's $30, we are down to our last quarter of the bottle. They're saying Spain had a great crop and it may be dropping in the next few months. If it does, we may buy it by the case. lol

I don't really like paying for any memberships...Sam's is the only one I have and I only chose to get it because I took advantage of a $20 offer for it. I'll renew at the full price at least once because I do find deals even though it's kind of hard to shop Sam's as a single person household. The gas prices are really a huge savings before I even walk in the doors.
Seeds of change tastes like dirt. Couldn't stand it and won't ever buy it again. Unfortunately, our Sams Club shut down a few years ago, but I am a huge COSTCO fan so it is o.k. I would like to see an Aldi come to the Pacific Northwest where we are. Thanks for sharing Danno and Jess.
Warm it up and it makes a good sandwich with mayo and horseradish. Make a gravy and add it. Put it on mashed potatoes or rice. Soup. Casseroles. I can my own. Maybe someone else has a good tip.
Good for beef and noodles. Just get a qt or 2 of broth. Also good for Mexican food or chop for bbq. Have sauted onions and peppers, added beef, then lay Swiss over it for a good sandwich. I'm also a long-time canner.
We can’t get that at our Sam’s with the roast beef that you show here in ARIZONA along the Colorado river because I have asked. You gotta get it in a gallon can for roast beef not buying that much at one time because how do you eat it unless you’re a restaurant?
Dano , please stop buying Cremora. The first ingredient is corn syrup. Second one is hydrogenated vegetable oil not cool. Only telling you cause I like you.😊
I love Sams. I have that membership and hubby has Costco. We love both. Sams credit card I use for everything and pay each month. The Sams cash back is great. You can use it any time you've earned it. I ususally let it build up and twice a year my trip to the store is almost free. I earned over 700.00 this year. Just bought more groceries with that.
I have a Sam’s club membership because we are a large family (6) and it’s good for basics. Wouldn’t do it for produce because sometimes it’s just too much of the same thing. Their premade food is also very expensive and just too much.
This is off topic but I was wondering if you watch tasting history with Max Miller? I think you would love it. If you are a foodie and a history buff, it's the best.
First yes you need to have 10-12 items that can be hard to find Sams club is motivated to push for a deal from the warehouses. Plus if you get the plus membership you can get free shipping but that’s not free delivery. But when every one else is out Sam’s club has it.
we get the bounty too but we get the scott t.p. Quite a few like the mm tp, it might sound cheaper when they advertise 45 rolls versus 36 rolls and the price is cheaper but you only get 235 sheets versus scotts 1100 sheets per roll making the mm toilet paper actually double the price at .02/sf versus scotts .01/sf.

I used to work for the Sams Club in Loveland..I got laid off and the store closed so when my membership expired I never renewed it. Closet one is 22 miles away one way.
I thought you claim you are Dannos neighbor.
I haven't been to Sam's Club is a while, but I do order some merchandise online sometimes.
You're lucky! Our Sams put the Folgers up to $14 from $9 recently 😮
"Don't eat the bay leaf" 😂
thank you Danno, this new camera your using is making products blurry just an fyi
They have been warning about olive oil for years, among other items. I would ld grab it anywhere I could,it's going to get worse.
@@tonette6592 I was fairly well stocked up when it was in the $13 to $16 range but now that it's $30, we are down to our last quarter of the bottle. They're saying Spain had a great crop and it may be dropping in the next few months. If it does, we may buy it by the case. lol
@@nana3491-w7b I hope so.We hit a few bargains at Kroger recently.
In Australia a pk of 50 dishwasher pods with finish at Woolies or cokes are $50-$60 it's rediculous 🤔, Spking of them tide dishwasher pods U get them way cheaper
Hell yes its worth it. I've saved hundreds on cleaning and laundry detergent, chicken, turkey and it goes on.
Don't forget the Super Savings every 6 weeks or so for about 3 to 4 weeks. Also some Sam's have the Sam's Club Gas Station.
In 2024, I only went once a month, for two people. It is nice to have extra on hand. But overall I found our budget required purchasing smaller amount at a time 😢
Stock up on that coffee! I think Sams club is still worth it!
We were just at Costco today. We got Folgers for right around the same sale price.
Sadly,No Sams Club,Anywhere near me .HopeE eryone is Finding Christmas 🎄 Treasurs for their Loved ones.🥰 Whiee Remembering, Jesus is the reason tor the season. And its the thought ,that counts!❤🎄❤Secound day of Heavy Rain Storms, with wind here😮 It's the Rainforest, after all!😂 ❤🕊️ Lord's Blessings All,Merry Christmas 🎄💕🎁 From the Foothills of the Olympics WA 🏔️⛈️🎄🏔️🎄🕊️
Sam's Club is offering a $20 membership 😊
Thanks for this!!!
People need to prepare for coffee shortages. Producing countries are saying their crops have failed due to weather.
We bought a Sam's pecan pie for Thansgiving. Only $13 and it was delicious.
All those dry goods. Sauces, pasta, canned goods my Sam's has very little of all that
I don't go into sams but I can order a rotisserie chicken and just go pick it up AND I only get gas there too! Thank you for sharing
Good morning Danno
Hi Danno friends. What do you guys do with the canned roast beef? I’d like to try it but how do you use it?
Thanks for saying you can freeze the members mark soup🤔👍🏻 Thanks for sharing 🤗 Happy Holidays 🎄🌟
I think it's worth it. Far less people than Costco. I'm able to breeze right in and out at my local one. I can't even handle a Costco parking lot
12:05 did y’all have Chex? Our location: fresh out 😩
Is it spring water or purified water for the 40 pack
This is off topic but I was wondering if you watch tasting history with Max Miller? I think you would love it. If you are a foodie and a history buff, it's the best.
I really like the scan and go but dont I'll keep the membership just me so I'll go next year then re evaluate
I've been trying to avoid corn products ( roundup).
First yes you need to have 10-12 items that can be hard to find Sams club is motivated to push for a deal from the warehouses. Plus if you get the plus membership you can get free shipping but that’s not free delivery.
But when every one else is out Sam’s club has it.

30:50 wages have gone up????? 😳🤣
Do not like the MM PT much perfer Bounty, but love the MM TP.
EDIT:Just the TP&PT makes a membership worth it
we get the bounty too but we get the scott t.p.
Thanks for the breakdown! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Knew you'd get the apple pie but didn't know if you'd own up to it.😂
Paper towels in California 22.98 toilet paper 26.98.
Same here in Michigan
Wow
I get better deals on meat at my local discount store. Last week boneless skinless chicken thighs were $ .55 a pound cant beat that.
I like Sam's but can't financially justify having both Sam's and Costco, and Sam's is like five minutes from me. Costco is fifteen.
