I have shopped at Aldi since 1986. While they don't have everything their prices are by far the best. I always go there first. Quality is fantastic. Bringing your own bag is eco good too. My favorite store.

I live in Australia and COMPLETELY AGREE......We have our own brand of Walmart and there is always drama. Store too big to shop quickly and items not at the marked price. Only once did I go thru Aldi and a product was at the wrong price . Once in 15 yrs of shopping with them is pretty good. Also U can't lose your young kids if there is only 4 aisles.

The AI voice never went to an Aldi, and it shows. I can afford good, high quality groceries at an affordable price. Aldi is awesome. I also got wonderful chocolates for Christmas.

They are stores, not amusement parks, you dont go there to have fun. You find one that is the cheapest, you go in, get what you need and leave.

i don't know about other states but Texas has Walmart Neighborhood Market. This is only a grocery store, well stocked, best prices.great service, and very friendly, helpful employees. The checkout is quick with self service checkout as well as registers with people to check you out. I don't know what more you could want.

This is terrible. Aldi is great, unless you like overpaying for groceries.

Walmart's produce is piled on dirty, sandy shelves, all in disarray. Looks thrown around. Rude as hell employees that don't speak English and run from you ALWAYS. Nasty looks by cashiers, no one smiles, ever. Prices seldom posted. The employees point and are mostly putting you off so they can hide. Gets grosser and grosser and I am 74 and could write a book on Walmart. Trashy place folks.

This review is trash, I often find cool thongs with quality and great prices at Aldi, and Krogers are not the cheapest, but they are nice and clean

    • @rcavictor1956
      @rcavictor1956 Місяць тому

I was wondering who else looked for their thongs there! 🤣 The only thing else this worthless grocery store review needs are links to porn sites. That would probably sum it all up as a finisher to his worthless review.

FYI - Wakefern Food Corporation, the parent company of the ShopRite chain, headquartered in the Township of Woodbridge, Middlesex County, New Jersey, and is physically located about 30 miles west of New York City/Manhattan.
ShopRite is the largest supermarket cooperative in the U.S., and the largest employer in the State of New Jersey.
The stores are always crowded and prices are exceptional. 👈😃👍

Here in Shallotte NC our Walmart is not too bad except when half of the self checkouts are out of action. I do go out of my way to shop at Publix every week as the customer service is very good.

I saw someone poop in the bread aisle at a Winn-Dixie years ago. It's no reflection on Winn-Dixie, but I needed to share it with someone, and going to a therapist over this one traumatic event seemed like a waste of time and money.

I used to shop at aldis, I'm convinced their workers get trained on how to be rude to customers, worse by far than walmart, having to have a quarter for a buggy was annoying and I usually just left the buggy since I felt like I paid for the right to not pick up after myself. I moved off to where there isn't an aldi and I don't miss it a bit. Groveryoutlet is way better than aldi.

Aldi is orginally a store in germany so they are trained to help people but in america it depends on the location.

@@polly09871 I've been aware about 10 years or so. Def has that nazi feel to it now that you remind me, hitler would have loved aldi. They don't really train them to clean up the floors after someone pukes on it, they wait till someone steps in it and has a fit and even then it takes a while before they do anything, a caution cone gets thrown up for a hour or two. Lines were always super long because they wouldn't open up more than 1 or 2 registers, if they are going to play in the murikan market they have to realize they aren't serving up germans. I'm glad to have moved away to a place without aldi as an option so they get nothing from my pocket anymore, I feed a family of 7 so when I stop shopping at a food joint then it means a decent amount of money went to a competitor. It's easy to say I won't go back, they are like 2-3 hours away from me, I did like their chocolate but I can import it myself, their kielbasa is the only thing I miss from there tbh.

@@polly09871 I have lived near and shopped 4 different Aldi's stores . My guess is a lot of stores in Patrick's aerea are rude. Aldi's are in 38 states were as Groveryoutlet stores are in 10 states. Also I don't always enjoy an Outlet store how ever I do visit me a many of them we had a store down in Minneapolis called Banks wowie zowie was often a destination for us people from up north visiting the Anthill ( Too Many People ) for us whom were coming from a town of 900

The only time I go to Albertson's is when I want 12-packs of Dr. Pepper when the sale is "Buy Two and get Three Free". There is no issue getting around in the store; hardly any patrons.

Love Aldi, my local has the lactose free milk I need, great prices on bread, lunchmeat and often eggs. Some deals on fruit, great prices on markdowns and sometimes great prices on grocery items. Use my rollator, not one of their carts, and don't miss the bags at all. Less trash to throw away. One of the great stuff items I bought was a trunk organizer in which I place the groceries in the while I drive them home. Miss the Albertson that used to be a couple blocks from my house. Neither the Krogers, Tom Thumb or other Albertsons can take it's place. And as for Walmart almost never buy any food there. I can save 25 to 50% shopping at the local hispanic markets for fresh fruits and vegetables.
Whenever I was given a little money as a child I was always told "don't spend it all in one place. Amazingly good advise. Of course I am fortunate to have every local chain within 5 miles of my home and drive my "route" every Wednesday.

So disagree with list. Aldi is the best. Love that carts are not scattered all over their parking lot. That quarter makes people put carts back, great prices super produce. If you want good prices you can not beat Aldi's.

I have shopped at Kroger for 11 years since moving down to Atlanta from Philly. I don't think this show or the reviewers gave it a fair shake. I like Krogers. Walmart is cheaper more often (so yes, I do buy some items there), but the quality of the Kroger generic brands and displays are much better than Walmart. I don't know about in store weekly ads, but I get the online weekly ad every week a day beofre the new sale week cycle plus digital coupons.

I have never, and will never, shop at an Aldi's! Forcing the customer to supply bags, and charging a deposit to use a shopping-cart, to me, has crossed the line. Such dystopian policies alone, are cause to have them rated lower than Walmart. I will not comply!
H-E-B never seemed to ask the question, "When is 'Big', too big" Who wants to shop where the aisle numbers literally climb into the triple digits? I don't feel like calling a cab, just to get from the meat section to produce! I'm looking at you, H-E-B in Midland. But, that seems to be the goal of these giant corporations----to make us regular people feel small and insignificant. I long for the old days of smaller specialty stores, where everyone knew the owner or manager, and they would stock certain items if you asked them to.

Dystopian, jesus christ, they just want you to return the cart like a decent human being. I get that not having a quarter with you can be irritating (though hot tip, you can ask the employees for one), but that's why you return the cart, so you'll have the quarter next time.
Also you can take the boxes with you if you didn't bring a bag.

Garbage video. Wegman's is consistently rated as #1 favorite grocery store, even though their prices are only surpassed by Publix. There are definitely worse stores out there, but I'm not saying any more. I don't want the AI coming after my favorite.

I wouldn't shop at Walmart if it was the last place on earth. 20 checkout lanes and 1 open, I don't work there so I don't do self checkout, it's not my job, and that includes any store with self checkout. And I don't see anything wrong with Aldi, good products at a fair price, so this review is nil and void. I'm the one who gave the down thumb on this video.
