I’ve always been interested in Outlaws, but didn’t need it Day 1. Right when I was about to pull the trigger on it they announced this massive update in late November so obviously I’m just going to wait until then.
Fuck it, combine the Watch Dogs and Assassins Creed franchises. There's already some in-game connections. WD's mechanics would really help boost the modern day assassin stuff.
By modern day AC I'm pretty sure that's really referring to gameplay in the vain of the historic animus sections. So basically take the best from AC & Watch Dogs for the gameplay. I know I'd be interested to see that.
Mike is 100% right about the modern day storyline of Assassin's Creed, that shit always killed my enjoyment of the games. The Isu were a neat idea to play around with in the lore but every time they dropped us into Desmond's story and especially afterwards it was just such a slog to get back into the actual game.
It was only poor sales because it was a game that was expensive as hell to make meaning breaking even requires unreal success, gotta sell gangbusters in this level of AAA or you catch an L. Like I think it sold a bit over 1m, which would be great for some, but likely Ubi wanted at least 3m.
@@starman69 Agree to disagree. I’m not telling you or anyone to like the game or not like the game. Like what you want to like, same for disliking. I’m not saying you said this so don’t misinterpret - but most will not even give certain games a chance due to a reviewer’s opinion instead of forming their own, so they automatically determine it’s a bad game. There ARE bad games, yes. But there are good games, in spite of their faults. I did state that I had no issues with it - to clarify, nothing major that would deter me from playing or enjoying it. Outlaws is that, for me. But I do enjoy the game.
I played it, got the completion and as a big Star Wars fan I really enjoyed it

I usually wait for sales when it comes to single player games, by then updates, patches and dlcs are out and well.

Actually a really good idea
Mike saying "WHO THE HELL IS JAMES!?" 😂😂😂😂

I’ll play outlaws in 6 months for £25
The game is incredible. If you don't get off the first planet -- you didn't play it.
Is outlaws on sale for like 40 bucks yet? Or on Gamepass? No and no? I’ll get back to you in a few months…
Well, I like Outlaws so, I have no issue with it.
Play more games.

I do NOT care about the modern stuff in AC, I just want to get back to the rest of the game!
There are just better games out now
