Dawg has ranted on this already. You gotta catch up on that back catalog brah brah.
One of the best death metal solos is Dechristianize by Vital Remains. I completely agree on Immolation Nailed to Gold. So many great solos on Here in After. Christ's Cage is also killer. Immolation has some of the best solos in Death Metal.
solo on entwined by vengeance >
@@ian.swift.31614 That's a great one too. Every song on there has one of the best death metal solos ever made.
@@CorporalSteiner1945 yeah its a good one. when it was new we would play it at parties, good times
I dunno man. It's "free" but since you started doing these I've bought several things I wouldn't have from hellsheadbangers and I've been to several live shows of bands you've talked about on here that honestly I would have never checked out otherwise. So it's "free" and it's work but you're generating some business for hells and very importantly you're also speaking the word about some good bands. I appreciate what you're doing here.

The outro from that song is killer

Supernatural Addiction is fantastic!!!
It has great classic metal riffs and melodies, and I like how all the songs are about cool horror movies that the Dawg probably doesn't care to watch.
@@CorporalSteiner1945 I hear that. 🤣🤣🤣
@@dinkins335 Banger album! Like the 'Tish, you can tell Deceased has good taste in horror. The riffs are like Maiden doing death metal.

DBC (Dead Brain Cells) one of Canada's great bands from the 80's has evidently reformed and just released a couple of new singles.
On that note, I can't help but wonder if the notorious *Aegis* *Raven* has joined the ranks of DBC, I mean after all he plays in "5 bands" right?
I heard he failed the try out to be their roadie.
@@dinkins335 Damn, he wasn't even good enough to be a junior roadie!?

Absolutely true story:
My ex and I moved into a house her uncle owned alongside two of her cousins from yet more family. They weren't even related, they were cousins from opposite sides of her family who both grew up with my ex and were dating each other at the time. That's what kind of family it is. Probably related to the president.
Her cousin was a bitch and it went bad on day one. The cousin was sulking in her room and I put on Close To A World Below at full volume just to terrorize her. She called in cousin boyfriend and they packed up and left that day. I love that album so much.
Bruh, on that particular Tuesday you were trvly KVLT AF! \m/

Desecration are amazing, my second favorite death metal band from the uk. Before I heard Gore and Perversion, I thought they’d just be all shock no substance, but I was wrong.
The song Gallery of Suicide by Cannibal Corpse has an epic guitar solo.

Ozzy's catalog is neat.
Everything up to No More Tears. After that it's pretty bad.
Yo jdawg gaahl told me he wouldn’t duck an interview like glenny benny if it came with a happy ending

I know I'm in the minority but I think CLANDESTINE is better than LEFT HAND PATH don't get me wrong I love LHP but if LG did the vocals for CLANDESTINE everyones opinion would be much different.
I somewhat agree, the riffs and arrangements are superior. And I don't mind the vocals as much as others do
I heard Clandestine first, then when I heard LHP I did think the vocals were way better. Still love both though
You're not alone, I too rate Clandestine as the superior album, now Wolverine Blues on the other hand......... 🤢
It’s a killer album, jam it regularly. Track 2 man Holy Crow!!!
I agree clandestine is definitely better than Left hand path
Oy! 🤘 A Max interview would be great!
Close To A World Below is awesome!

@@pookiebearv2859 well that’s the beauty of freedom of f choice. it sounds old school, they didn’t change much to me it’s like would you rather hear schizophrenia on a nice vinyl set up sounding killer or hear it on a victrolla suitcase record player?
@@Unleashedraider1985 I honestly think they should have left that album alone same for Morbid Visions the production is good on that album already

Yea all that needs to happen asap 🤘🏽
Confession time, I liked Chaos AD but i got it when it came out. I could see people not liking it picking it up later in their career.. but i would say that album is responsible largely for the modern metal "breakdowns" you hear today. Every song basically has a breakdown. I really disliked the roots album but the first Soulfly I enjoyed just based on how bad roots was. Max has been air guitaring for years now though, unfortunately
I draw the line at Soulfly. I could jive and boogie to Roots, but Soulfly is a bit too Ross Robinson (Nu) Metal for me. I saw them live at ozzfest one year when I was in highschool. They closed with roots bloody roots. It sucked. They suck. I lost a lot of interest in Max's projects for years after that.
@@AMPHETASAURMax has redeemed himself with the last Sepultura remakes.
I don't think it's Sepultura's fault specifically. In the case of nu-trash, its musical influences were already doing breakdowns. And core, remember, is influenced by post hardcore, which tends to use a lot of breakdowns too.
If you mix the Chais AD breakdowns. With the Raining Blood or Ghost of War breakdowns. You have every breakdown of the late 90’s hardcore scene

Chaos AD and Beneath The Remains is Peak Sepultura
Chaos AD is yo yo flatbrim wigger sports jersey wearing Groove Metal garbagio. Beneath the remains is a generic Thrash record with Macho Man Randy Savage vocals.
@@Pagan_Fears You might be exaggerating the flatbrim-influence in Chaos AD just a little.
Evan Seinfeld of Biohazard co-wrote track 3, Slave New World, so yes there is some flatbrim in there, but not very much.
You're right on Beneath The Remains being painfully generic sounding, it seems to largely stem from it's bone-dry and lifeless production.

Trivium better than Edge Of Sanity
Whaaaaaaaaaat!?
@@Poser_Metal_Records The reason for this, firstly, because Trivium objectively produces superior audio engineering development processes.
Their compositions have the necessary harmonic structure and memorable moments. This group has a stable composition and, as a result, releases strong albums, as well as conducts active concert activities, which in turn increases their performing skills. Unlike Edge Of Sanity, who disbanded the band many years ago.
