Sadly, Metal has slowly become infiltrated with this PC, "woke", florescent hair and skinny jeans culture. In the early days of Metal , the "community" was about EXCLUSIVE as you could be, and shows were actually violent and dangerous. Those days are long gone.
I've lived in NYC for my whole life. I started going to arena shows in 1986 and club shows in 1988. I was at Sepultura's first US show ever, opening for King Diamond on Halloween 89 at the Ritz. I was at the Day of Death in Buffalo NY in 1990. I was at the Thrash of the Titans in SF in 2001. Sure the 80s had its punks vs skins vs metalheads drama in the early days, but the 1 unifying act of violence that brought us ALL together was beating the fuck out of Nazis at shows. If you aren’t rooted in anti-authoritarian and anti-bigot Leftism, then you're just a Rock & Roll band. It’s the world view that separates true Punk Rock (and it’s many sub genres) from people just playing blues progressions through modern gear and distortion pedals. Sure, Metal was "excusive," exclusive to the outcasts and those who lived life on the fringes of society, not bootlicking flag humpers
People like the commenter in question would NEEEVVVVVEEER have been able to handle going to shows (or anywhere for that matter) pre 2005. This current era where people will clutch pearls and feign complete offense when someone they never met says any word deemed socially unacceptable by corporate HR departments, standing in firm support of pharmaceutical giants and politicians (as long as they are the *good* kind), could not handle the 80's and 90's bantz.
Change of plans for me, I won't be buying as many vinyls this month cause my dad bought me a ticket to a very local Dark Funeral show and I kinda wanna get some merch god dammit, a t shirt in case you happen to give a fuck. So it's not that I'm not buying any vinyls it's more so that I've reserved my purchase for over a month now for the Dismember reissues cause god dammit do I look forward to that one.

If it was a troll post then it worked lol.
No handouts, no shortcuts!!! Grind to the top.
When i was younger i read a review on RockHard magazine for dismember's "like an everflowing stream" album and the reviewer (a man) was offended by the title and lyrics of "skin her alive"........ I was like "dude you listening to extreme metal ya dum dum, it's not like you haven't been warned, you know what to expect". Since then i couldn't take these sissys from RockHard seriously i even grew hate for them ffs.
J Dogg with the 3rd degree burns.
90 percent of the old heads jump off when Death and Carcass and Morbed Angel came out
What about wombath 90s shit man? I just now found out about those dudes . I'm only half canoe man . No twink core no hair bands but I love grunge sludge and doom and was raised on Sabbath like doom.

This kinda bullshit is why I'm pro gatekeeping.
Speaking of gatekeeping what the hell is that pic you got there brah brah?
@@humanbrisket7718 It's just one of the TN Vols logos.
Metal music is all about freedom of expression and being yourself. No room for political correctness. No room for censorship.

Yo dawg i made a order yesterday and today throw in a malice divine id appreciate it ...thnx -cam
Max is a false, do not entry. xD
No gatekeeping and you end up with bands like Gloryhammer.
To me, there are bigger issues in metal than corny power metal bands.
@@Poser_Metal_RecordsLet's hear it.
Or that straight up poooooooooser band Dawn Rayd
@@crushingalldeceiversI cracked open a beer in celebration when I found out they broke up!
@@crushingalldeceiversbands like that just straight up don’t belong in black metal, right next to neckbeard deathcamp, der strumer and intolitarian

People like the commenter in question would NEEEVVVVVEEER have been able to handle going to shows (or anywhere for that matter) pre 2005. This current era where people will clutch pearls and feign complete offense when someone they never met says any word deemed socially unacceptable by corporate HR departments, standing in firm support of pharmaceutical giants and politicians (as long as they are the *good* kind), could not handle the 80's and 90's bantz.
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh dude got roasted 🤣😂
🤣😂
Change of plans for me, I won't be buying as many vinyls this month cause my dad bought me a ticket to a very local Dark Funeral show and I kinda wanna get some merch god dammit, a t shirt in case you happen to give a fuck. But it's not just cause of that it's also cause I make about 260~ translated to USD and 93 of those are going straight toward the last 3 Dismember reissue vinyls, so I gotta budget with the rest haha. So it's not that I'm not buying any vinyls it's more so that I've reserved my purchase for over a month now for the Dismember reissues cause god dammit do I look forward to that one.
Get your money up 😂
@icankillbugs Month* I'm in Sweden and I'm only 22.
I live with my dad and I've gotten fucked over countless times by the government, and you can only really apply online for jobs here and sit with dick in hand waiting for something to happen.
Thanks for update
