I don't like US 'soda', any I've tried have just been nasty. What topped it was my 5th trip, went sky diving and got a fanta from the vending machine. My thinking, its fanta, can't be that bad. It's all chemicals. It was just the nastiest drink ever. Since that trip, I've always taken a Robinsons mini. Even take it to breakfast, will always be the most refreshing drink on the trip.
Fanta especially the orange one is like a radioactive collection of chemicals. Vile. Have noticed most sodas out of a bottle or can have a distinct taste (probably additives and preservatives) but I don't taste that when I have a 'soda' from a bar. Odd
