It’s pretty amazing that Sally was able to seamlessly step into Jemma’s channel and keep it going so effortlessly as if she had been running it the whole time. Love them both!!💕

I used to dream of getting a fancy degree and a well paid job but since i came across Cupcake Jemma's YT channel and saw them baking sweets all day long at Crumbs and doilies, all i think of having a bakery of my own and baking all day! I live very far far away from C&D and trying their recipes(thanks to their generosity) has assured me that we're missing something special here. Thank you for inspiring me and being so generous! One day I'd have a bakery just like C&D in my city🥰 Thank you Jemma, Sally, Dane and all the team!!!
@@yoong21 Mine was pretty moist, but it depends on how you like it. The longer you bake the brownie, the more dry/cakey it's gonna be. (I baked it for 20mims)
I’ve made this twice now for my 5 kids, and they love it! The first time I added white choc chips as well as dark to the cookie dough, and the second time I added white chocolate chips on top of the ganache as well! Delicious . . . Thank you Sally xxx
I swear I've been begging my parents to go to soho but we've just not yet had the chance, I've got around a month and a bit till my summer holiday and the FIRST thing I want to do is pop up to Crumbs and Doilies, have the best treats and me you guys, it'll literally be a dream come true!
I made this, with a few very minor tweaks, like extra sea salt and toasting the flour in a pan for the cookie dough. I was concerned it would be too sweet and rich, and it was but I couldn't stop eating it! Soo good especially for someone who prefers lighter, fruitier flavours and that's saying something! Thank you team C&D
Made these this weekend and they were a big hit! Only change I made was I used walnuts in the cookie dough instead of chocolate chips. Will be making again! Thanks!
Followed the recipe exactly, delicious and very rich. Only changes I would make the next time based off personal preference (lower sugar content overall 10%-15% cause its a little sweet) and (lower heavy cream in ganache 20% so it setup a little firmer) (add a small tea spoon of instant coffee to ganche to increase bitterness for contrast).
I made these using Dutch process cocoa and brown sugar, and following the rest of the ingredients. Brownies baked 20 minutes 335 F gas oven. I would say, the brownies have to be all the way cool, and I would refrigerate after the step of putting the cookie dough on, the ganache tends to melt the butter in the cookie dough if it’s too warm. The ganache definitely isn’t set after 30 minutes, mine set after about two hours. Delicious and was a hit for Father’s Day :)
The cookie dough brownie was one of the first treats I ever bought when visiting the Soho shop! Can’t wait for my kit to arrive to make it and of course visiting the shop!
I've made these and they are amazing! I have also tried many other Cupcake Jemma recipes and they never disappoint! I'm so happy I found you guys because I never knew how much I would enjoy baking, which I started thanks to you. When I come to London (currently in Wolverhampton), I have to stop by Crumbs & Doilies at Soho. I can't wait to try your delicious treats😊. Keep up the good work Sally and the amazing team supporting you❤
Just tried out the brownie part from this recipe and OMG! I honestly have tried recipe to recipes for the perfect brownie, but have never successfully got that perfect looking and tasty fudgy brownie... but this recipe omg its easy, quick and the perfect brownie! Was so happy with the results! I was a proud baker today :))) Thank you Jemma, your recipes never fail me😊
Been to Soho many times in the past and it’s amazing. So happy to see it open for good this time fingers crossed🤞🏼 Sally, you are just wonderful in every way possible🌸
I was very lucky to have the chance to go to the crumbs and doilies bakery last year and I loved it !!!!! I bought some mini cupcakes and they were delicious ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Thankyou for this beautiful recipe. I can’t believe there are 52 miserable sods who gave this a thumbs down. What’s not to love? Beautiful, smiling, generous people sharing a free recipe for your pleasure. I don’t even eat sugary sweets but I can still appreciate the generous spirit that has gone into this vlog.
May I ask what the temperature must be when cooking the flour? Also I may add that you guys never fail to outdo yourselves with sharing these delicious recipes with us! Thank you!
Just made this, it's in the fridge!! My cookie dough was darker than yours, but I'm sure it will still taste good. Sure my family will give me their verdict tonight. 😉 thanks 4 all your recipes. I'm learning so much. X
Hi Sally! Great recipes. I have some small questions: How big should the eggs be? And should I use an oven with fan or top/bottom heat? Thank you for your help. Kind greetings, Olia😊
Yay! Thank you for the recipe- can't wait to make this for my brother's birthday :) Can I ask what temperature you put the flour in at (5:20 of the video)?
Is demerara sugar the same as turbinado sugar? I was eating a banana and chocolate scone while watching you Sally. Yum, so good!! Know it may sound crazy but I've never tried cookie dough anything but I have to admit. That looks just as yummy as my scone. Thanks for the recipe... 👍🏻
Microwave method Place your flour in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave it on high in 30 second intervals, stirring in between. Be sure to stir well since microwaves have hot spots and you don’t want any of the flour to burn. It should take about 60-90 seconds total, and I like to use an instant-read thermometer to make sure it has reached 165°F throughout. If you get a lower reading in part of the flour, simply stir it again and heat for an additional 30 seconds. Oven method Preheat your oven to 300°F. Spread your flour onto a rimmed baking sheet and bake in a process similar to the microwave. Every 2 minutes, take the flour out and give it a stir to prevent burning. It should take about 5-8 minutes for the flour to reach 165°F. For both of these methods, let the flour cool completely before using. You want your flour to be soft and fluffy, so if it has clumps be sure to give it a whisk or sift the flour to remove any lumps.
Hi Sally, I’ve made this before and everyone loved it. What I want to know if and at what stages could you freeze so you don’t have it all to do nearer Christmas. Thanks Carolyn
Thank you for the recipe, but how long does this cookie dough last can you tell us its shelf life or if it's covered in chocolate to give as a gift can it stay fresh and healthy for some time?
Love you and every recipe you show here. I will try this recipe for sure. but need to know, should the brownie must be be cool before adding the cookie dough??
