im not japanese, but my dad is a japanese, in some occasions my fam loves to make okonomiyaki with bacon as filling just like this. all the fam works together to make the prep and we all cook and eat in the dining room together. i miss those days 😭😭

They are very hard working and take pride in what they do. Very honest people and never brings attention to themselves. I love visiting Japan, my favourite country to visit of all time.

I came here from different channels, watching ojisan continuously cook and sell his okonomiyaki for 100 yen despite all these years (inflation) passing by. It's really admirable of him to keep the price that low. 😭

an okonomiyaki will cost me about 0.65$ if i make it myself and i live in the very expensive canada. if i was to have corporate benefits then it would cost me aroud 40 cents to make. that man is an honest person unlike food shop here that price gouge the customers with 200 or 300% profit.

Also found fascinating in the different type of food vending machines the Japanese have to offer. Sad part about this video? That men and women who do this for a living aren't doing it in America. Imagine them doing this out of their stall some where downtown.....the fast food places (McDonald's, etc.) would take a major financial hit.
I think if we could get the city of L.A. to not be run by a bunch of money grubbing taxing idiots, we could create a space where these types of vendors could afford to rent a space and create this food, but sadly at night...hoodlums would mess it all up. A different culture in Japan, more of respect I think. I agree with you, I'd love to have this experience!
I have been screaming about having Ramen stalls placed around the Tulsa, Ok area. But alas, we still don't have any. I have searched high and low for them because I love my Ramen as much if not more than Naruto himself. When I do eat fast food, it's always at some mom and pop place that isn't a major chain food place. I kinda grew out of that by the time I was 20. Food trucks and small individually owned food places are the best places. Cheaper too.

With this "plastic" stuff from places like McD's you know exactly what your getting - exactly the same as last time whichever one you go in - and the prices of their food - phew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
