Usually when I’m catching a lot of smaller ones, I go out deeper. That’s where the bigger ones are on Lake Erie. I really like your boat. I’ve got a nice one too but I like yours. Good luck guys and gals.
At 45 years old, I decided to take up fishing. I've been using your channel for research purposes, before I buy any gear. The endless options has been beyond overwhelming, but your videos have been a great help. I'll continue watching and gaining knowledge, getting prepared for gear buying in the spring. Thank you for all of your hard work.
This video was amazing. So much instruction and information, I am going to watch it again to make sure I have it all correct. You are taking the lead on You Tube walleye fishing. What delivery, what picture quality. It really is well done. I cant wait until the next video. I am rebuilding and restocking my boat with everything you use. Thank you. Bruce
Hello! I was just wondering if you sale any of your used equipment. I am just starting to get into walleye fishing. I watch your shows and learn so much good fishing. Thanks again, tight lines!
Just getting into the open water for walleye game. I'm interested in knowing what power and action of rods you use for the boards with harnesses and the dipsy's
Another incredible video! The quality is unbelievable and your continual instruction is like attending an on the water seminar! Thank you so much for sharing so much! I am wondering if you have ever used the double serrated blade setup on inland lakes? I fish mostly inland lakes in Northwestern Michigan. I like the idea of being able to troll a little faster than normal.
Wow, thank you! The double willow blade harnesses would definitely work on inland lakes. I would just move from size 5 to 3.5...www.warriorlures.com/FishingHarness.aspx
Sorry if i missed it in the other comments, but where did you get those board holders? I would like to see how they are mounted and get some ordering information.
the knowledge of these videos you produce is ridiculous...I don't know who taught you how to do all this, but I can see how professional you are and the results are amazing...You the man bro...You are awesome...Very professional...very structured...scientific bro...I haven't watched a video in a while, and just happened to see you put one out today....love it...wish you put out more...way better than the rest...Only thing teaching me more right now is the H2H fishing...I fish with a guy who has a tower behind his boat...I honestly like fishing that system better. It's opposite the side gunnel way, but I like it better...I have to admit and it's super hard to transition back and forth...You the man bro...You and my boy Gaines are the trolling kings...
Hey man I have enjoyed your content for the past couple years now, never been to Erie but would love to one day. We fish alot of walleyes back home I know Erie you guys keep them bigger fish but I am curious as to why that donkey 29 incher went back when she had some bad barotroma? Maybe I missed something myself I am just trying to learn from the best. Any response would be much appreciated, keep up the great videos.
Good video man. Good lord, how many poles can u use? Whats a monster eye in Erie. We got some nice walleye here too. To me a monster is over 15lb not pregnant. I'm a super basic eye guy, jig a few things or trolling my homeade crawler harness. sets. I should expand my game a bit but it's super easy,Super quick, and super effective. Never used a board.
@@JOBFishing the Columbia river got some spots that are so great on big eyes. Really like your videos. Good stuff. Your opinion, whats the best bigger walleye jigging pole. Gonna being catching fish up to 50lb once in a while. Stergon bite my shit walleye fishing. Burnt a nice reel Last yr on 50lb 5 foot stergon jigging walleye. But walleye fishing average over 25 yrs is 5 lbs. Big Is big. High teeners. I need bigger, stronger pole!!!!!! I run a 7 ft. Med American Rodsmith to jig with 20lb powerpro. Its great but need bigger stronger pole!!
Great video. I’m thinking of getting some dipsys but am not sure what size to get. What size are you using? I fish the reefs to Avon mostly and think I want to start with 4 #1s.
I just made a switch to the Dreamweavers Size #4 which is the same as A Dipsy Diver Size #1 with the ring. I like the Dreamwaevers because they don't have the removeable rings. www.dreamweaverlures.com/product-category/divers/deeper-diver/107/
Jason, Sorry for my ignorance but I am confused ....at around 5:46 of the video you say on the outside board you have to go to 45 ' to get your 20 foot depth with 2Oz weight ...... then you say 30' back will give me my 15. Are you saying the distance the board is from the boat changes your Depth ? Or are you saying because of the length of the lead the worm harness raises in the water column.
I was refering to lead lead lengths which is from the 2oz in-line weight to the planer board. This length will determine depths (Precision Trolling App). The distance off the boat is set so I can try to prevent tangles. Typically, I will allow a minimum of 40 feet in between boards to help prevent tangles if I'm running multiple boards. Does this help?
You guys are fun to watch. You do a great job at teaching.
Glad you enjoy it!
Everytime I see how your boat and tackle are set up I drool. Like the content and explanations. Thank you.
I appreciate that!

Any thing over 28" is considered a Fish Ohio and I would consider anything over 10lbs on Lake Erie to be a "monster"...
