Great job as others have said. You two are very sophisticated with technology, super organized, tidy, and polite. Truly sets you apart from many other "Pros".
Felt like I was on the water with you. I like how you placed the landing net in the same spot after bringing the fish in the boat. Gotta have a routine, I say. Nice job. Keep them coming!
Caught a ~10lber and a ~12lber and six other smaller ones in the 15”-20” range all in that stained water you were referring to last Sunday before it blew up out of the NE. Marked hundreds of big fish in the dirtiest brown water and few outside of it. This Sunday looks perfect. Good luck!
@@jasonobrien9099 I run my set-ups pretty much the same as you (only with vertical trees). When I am running short leads (less than 50), I put the highest ones on the outside just like you did. However, when I am running any leads longer than 50, I reverse them, which pretty much eliminates the tangles and you don't have to let it drop back very far before reeling it in. Learned that from Captain Juls. There's no right or wrong way, but I figured if she does it that way, it's good enough for me. Cheers!
Awesome video! Not enough Lake Erie walleye videos on UA-cam in my opinion. From Dayton, Ohio, I take my family up there for vacation every summer and,, do a charter trip every year. Its nice to see your wife likes to fish as well. Will be showing this to my wife and daughters to hopefully get them to be more passionate about fishing as I am. Thanks
I really enjoyed your video. I wish that I could have some luck out there. I went 4 times last fall over in Breast Bay area of Michigan and was skunked every time.
I just bought a starcraft superfisherman 19ft. Im 59 and have more time to fish than I used to. It certainly has changed since the last time i fished in 2000! whole new learning experience. thanks for the info.
Awesome! My first trip was march 20th and it was a hackfest not a slamfest! Lol.still did alright considering the muddy water.Great Job!see you out there!
Where I get confused is once I let the line out, how much do you add for inside, center, outside once you attach the boards? You finally answered another question (on this video) about shallow to deeper. I’d also like to see you explain a bit more on once you reel in a fish, how do you reset, say the center line with a boad without tangling everything already out?
I try to keep at least 30' between boards unless if I plan on making a lot of turns then I will go to 40' spreads...again just to help prevent tangles. I will try to explain more in the next video...
Love the way you two have a system and are on the same page. Wife and I fish Bolles Harbor and Anchor Point out of 196 Starcraft and she and I are learning from you to not argue, just discuss...LOL We must get boards as we are new to trolling. ($$ SHORT) We actually sit and watch like being in a seminar and am saying THANKS for teaching us how to enjoy one anothers company. Ever get near Toledo, love to meet you. Thanks again.
Great content. Also loved the garage setup video too!! Totally jealous. I’ve never been a troller but hope to change that with my new boat coming this spring so any setup tips would be appreciated.
Great video. Love the planner board holders. How are they mounted? With the sport track? Thank you for any info. Also, what ruler you have down by live well door? Looks like a sticker. New Lund here and need to do something like that.
I use the following track mounts to mount the Tango BH6... www.extrememax.com/product-p/3004.3156.htm I found a 36" metal ruller with self adheasive on Amazon... www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K2C79NW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My buddy has the same boat and we were just talking about adding the track system like you have there. How do you remove your rod holders with the brackets through bolted? Not sure if you can send a closeup photo of it some how. Took as many screen shots as I could. Thanks and great video
Hi! A year later almost on this video, but its about the same time, and the lake hasn't thawed out up here by Buffalo yet. Hopefully soon! Question: Are walleye normally lazy to pull in? Oor is it because its still cold waters so they aren't as active yet? Great video and I am subscribed now!
What planner board holders are you using? Do you have any pics or a link to them? These look like they would be perfect and keep port/starboard separated.
I use Sunline Super Natural Mono 16# .013 diameter which is very close to Berkley XT 10# at .014 diameter to make sure Precision Trolling depths are accurate. I do use a 48" Seaguar AbrazX Fluorocarbon leader 25#.
Sorry I still don't understand it is it a area marked off ya can't go in .do they start at A and go to Z forming a boundary or something or shape. Or straight line.when I do get there I don't want to end up in the wrong place or side of a line .thanks
Brian, You told me me you use Sunline Super Natural #16. I have Precision trolling app. I have been using the deep dive Bandits 5/8 oz. How does the app correspond with your line ? I fish the Cleveland area 40' to 50' water. Fish are lying pretty low so do I have to go to a snap weight to get it down there. Thanks
Precision Trolling App uses Berkley XT 10# which has a diameter of .014" and the Sunline Supernatural 16# has diameter of .013" so it is virtually same if not thinner which might run a fraction deeper...use the 50/2 with 2oz snap weights on the app.
@@JOBFishing BTW, the Modis site is good, but the NASA Worldview site is much better. It allows you to go back and forth between days much easier, plus zoom in and out. However, the best feature BY-FAR is that as you move your mouse around, it shows you the GPS coordinates in the bottom right. I will put my mouse on a mud-line, snap a pic of the screen with my phone before I leave the house and am able to drive right to that spot. You can also take measurements in miles or KM. Check it out!
Yes fishing 411 is a very nice fishing show to watch

I love the pictures of your fish 🐟
Thank you! Cheers!
Good to see fish on the boat. A little gnarly the first day but the next day beautiful. Nailed it!
Somebody new could sure shorten the learning curve by watching your videos Jason. Great job as always. See you at Magees in 7 weeks!!!
Thanks 👍

Well rigged craft for Erie, well done you two.
Thanks for taking us with you, can’t wait to get back on the water. Beautiful rig.
Great informative video. Great job!

Your sound is great what kind of mic do you use.

You are correct. Big difference between reeling in a winter fish versus a mid-summer fish.
Curious what program you’re using for the satellite pictures.

What did you turn up around the 8min mark when you picked up your boat speed. Was it your ping speed?
