Just a couple things that you can do to really help your hair is, 1. Start brushing from the bottom up. Brush through the ends and then work your way up to the scalp. I can hear all the ripping you're doing when you just start at the top and rip your way through. 2. Stop putting your hair in a bun while it's wet. Hair is very weak when it's wet and will break and damage so easy. Wide tooth comb and no hair ties when wet.
Many of my hair stylist friends and family members that are hairstylists have told me with split ends like that, literally the only way to fully get rid of them is just cutting them off, the hair will also get worse and split ends will basically keep creeping up damaging more. I literally only get like 2 cm off when i get mine cut so I keep most of the length but cuts the dead shit off.
Omg Rachel this is amazing. No one dedicated this much time to products and we need this. Like seriously. Amazing. I believe you’ll start to get new subs with this wen the word gets out. Amazing sweety.
Oh my god I am so freaking excited for your new format!!!!! All of the things you are testing are things I really want to know about!!! Thank you!!!!!!
So excited for this new style of video!! And so excited to see you trying something new!! I've always wanted to see you do long term results like testing out skincare and stuff, so excited for this new journey!!❤
This video couldn’t have come at a better time! I’ve been struggling with my hair as well. I’m so in to this new format too. It makes me so excited to see the end results. Also, thanks for always being considerate about the price and accessibility of the products 🫶🏼 You’re fabulous ✨
I know you get botox, but if you ever want to stop for a bit and try frownies, I’d love to see your results! I’ve been so tempted to try them for my forehead and eyebrow wrinkles!
Excited for your hair removal review. I’ve had it for a month and have no armpit hair regrown for 10 days now 🙌🏻 I’ve never experienced anything actually doing what it promises before 😂
Wow Rachel! Thanks for the dedication to testing products longer for us! I’ve always been curious about the longevity of the Caraway pots/pans or other similar ceramic cookware if you’d ever consider testing something like that. Lume deodorant is another product I’ve been tempted to buy but not sure about 🤔
Not too bad! I can tell this is a new format for you, but that means there’s room to grow and get comfy in it! It was a good video. I can’t wait to see more
I think, visually the mask has definitely helped the overall look & texture of your hair.. with that being said, I really do think you should consider cutting that last 3-5 inches of overall length and get some decent layers cut into it… like a collarbone length ‘wolf’, ‘butterfly’, or ‘cub’ cut… ((they’re all the same thing really it’s called a ‘shag’ 😂 or has been called that by hair stylist for longer than I’ve been alive (42 years)). But it’s a length and style that is pretty flattering and versatile
i started trying to heal my hair a few months ago and this hair mask has been a game changer!! it smells amazing and it's honestly helped me be excited about showering (there's no worse waste of time than showering it's so freaking boring lol). and i DEFINITELY have noticed a difference by using leave-in conditioner and doing this mask every week! so exciting to see a true before and after of it!
PLEASE BRING BACK LEARNING SUNDAYS!!! i learned a lot with my parents passed and my sisters always out of the house i need to learn and understand things that school just doesn’t help with your so open and honest helps me feel comfortable and like im not stupid for not knowing these things ( taxes, how to pay bills, is there a correct way to store food, how do i cook chicken, and so many other things)
couple things that want to get there hair healthier. routine trimming, wash with soap once a week (washing every day takes that natural oil out that the hair needs), claw clips do NOT pull up as much with hair ties... no heat... silk pillow cases, use hair oil to keep moisturized just like your skin :)
Your hair is not damaged girl. You just have split ends that need trimmed, totally normal. Also it's normal to lose a small amount of hair daily everyone does
You better cut the dead hair instead of trying to make it better with a hair mask :x That's what I did, no regrets ! :) BUT still excited for the other products :)!!!
This is another hair product so I don’t know if you would want to try it but I’ve always wondered if Ola Plex is actually that good as they say it is because it’s really expensive and I’ve never bought it because of that! So maybe you can try it out ❤❤
I'm not sure if you'd be interested because it is pricey but perhaps testing different PEMF mats? I have an iMRS 2000 & love it, but not sure how other brands would be.
Do a big cut!!! Get rid of the damaged hair on the bottom. It will change your hair. Also try not striaghting your hair or find heatless alternatives if possible! ❤❤❤ love your vida
I don’t do great with random long videos, but I enjoyed this one. I think your style would be perfect with this form if you maybe put two products into one video like this.
i see these at stores, lip plumping lip gloss, i dont believe any really work, some tingle as well, theres a bunch of different brands, can u try those
If you want your hair shorter, cut it. If you want your hair longer, nourish the ends to prolong its life, staying longerrrrr…so simple! I noticed your hair in a recent vlog and I was like…what is she doing to her hair, looks so healthy! Now i know! ☺️ i just started a hair mask journey last week, coincidentally.
Hi Rachel. First if all, love your videos and vlogs. Secondly, have you ever considered cutting your hair super short? I had long hair and did not like it at all. Now I have super short hair and love it. My hair dresser and mom don’t like my super short hair, but I do. All I do is wash it every other day, and my hair is never a mess when I wake up in the mornings. I don’t even need to brush it. It is so easy.
My mom is a hairstylist for over 40 years and one bit of advice to you during your weekly treatment especially if you’re trying to reverse damaged hair: Keep the mask on for longer! 5 minutes isn’t enough and I actually prefer to keep a hair mask on for an hour or even overnight, then rinse my hair. Just wrap it in a tshirt or a head wrap towel while you let it sit on your hair to keep the moisture in.
I do think you should trim your split ends and stop breaking off the ends with your fingers. lol as someone with even curlier hair than your sister I’m excited to try this product. I need the moisture.
I do like the longer format / longer testing phase but I will say based on your length of hair I don't think you're using enough of that hair mask at any one time. The point is to saturate your hair... Try using twice the amount that you showed yourself using in this video and see how it feels after that 👍
I could really tell even before you did the end pictures that your hair in general looked more healthy. Edit it would be interesting to have seen about how much you used out of the big tub..
Hey girl!😊 I would love if you tested the vitana goods unrefined 100% Batana oil for your hair. My hair is weak falling out & breaking off all the time.... Please let us women know if it works I've had a ton of adds shown for it but at $59 (on sale price) it would be awesome to know if it actually makes a difference!❤🎉❤
your hair is beautiful what r u talking about lol🫶🏻just split ends which i’m seeing in the comments so i’m sure i’m not the first one but those are super normal 😌 just occasional trims and yes hopefully mask helps!
This is a good review. However, it’s difficult to undamage damaged ends. I think if you cut off a couple of inches and continue to use this product, you would see a great result.
Here for the hair stylists in your comments but didnt really see any. #1 get a trim to cut off those split ends, they will just continue to split more. #2 dont use regular towels on your hair, use a true microfiber towel or hair wrap (like Norwex) & just scrunch it. If you cant do microfiber, use a tshirt or tshirt material to soak up the wetness. #3 do not put your hair up while wet, let it stay down while air drying. Also make sure you are using a hear protectant before using your straightener. Finally, i am not a hair stylist but did go to cosmetology school back in the 80s & have done research on do's & don'ts for hair (mine is curly)
I know you don’t have any…but I’ve been trying to find a good facial dark spot remover/lightener. Do you think Mama Gwen, IF she has any either, or someone else would be willing to participate?
Honestly I think this way is much better because like you said at the time when you're doing gather videos you say yeah this thing works sometimes the odd time you'll go to use it again in another video and you'll say Hey member I got this and we still use it I'll just let you know that at that time that you know that product is good and you are actually continuing to use it instead of returning it or why not so at least this way we can actually see a Before & After and know that you're actually using the product Doctor you know not just liking it on the spot you know and then afterwards Finding out After maybe it's not so great and then forgetting to tell us there's something I don't I like it. ❤
I have very unhealthy hair, compared to yours, so I always think yours looks good, minus the top. Those slow-mo parts of the video though were hilarious. Music felt nostalgic to like 90s/00s. XD
Just cut the ends your hair looks pretty good to me it just you need to get a trim. I don’t think you need to go over these links to keep testing products on your hair.
I want to see you earthquake proof your house. Show everyone not in California what is recommended - and standard, like strapping the water heater (because no one else in the country understands that one). (What others also don't realize is they too could have an earthquake, like the "small" one a few years ago on the east coast. And, the worst recorded earthquake in the US was not in California and it REVERSED the flow of the Mississippi!)
VERY much here for this long form testing! Can not WAIT for the rest of them!! 🙏 🙏 🙏
Just a couple things that you can do to really help your hair is, 1. Start brushing from the bottom up. Brush through the ends and then work your way up to the scalp. Hair is very weak when it's wet and will break and damage so easy. Wide tooth comb and no hair ties when wet.
I desperately need to follow this advise 😭😭
My mom used to tell me that all the time, always brush your hair from the ends then to the scalp. And it really works with less hair coming out!
Yes, and that brush is a dry brush, not wet. Wide toothed only when wet but ideally you don’t brush it when wet.
Excited for this format! And looking forward to your review of the hair removal thing.
This is real dedication. Awesome UA-cam video Rachel. ❤
I appreciate the effort you put into this. Lend credibility to your conclusion ❤.
Omg Rachel this is amazing. No one dedicated this much time to products and we need this. Like seriously. Amazing. I believe you’ll start to get new subs with this wen the word gets out. Amazing sweety.
Ooooookay, this is it! This is what we need. Virtual high five to you for this new format. Off to buy the thing!
YES KEEP THESE LONGFORM TESTS!! I like to see a fully tested product review
Oh my god I am so freaking excited for your new format!!!!! All of the things you are testing are things I really want to know about!!!
Thank you!!!!!!
I give you a ton of credit for really doing this test!! Exp. Getting the comb or throwing it to the wind!! This was a great video! Thanks
This is fun seeing a longer type of test. I deffff noticed how much shinier ur hair looked
Love this new format! It's cool to see if products work long term. Can't wait to see how that mask is.
LOVE the new format! First impressions can only go so far, so this is much appreciated! 😊
Exactly the type of content I've been looking for! Thank you! Can't wait for more!
I will totally trust these reviews thank you for the commitment!!
Only thing I can suggest is getting the dead and split ends choppednoff. A regular trim keeps your hair looking healthy.
So excited for this new style of video!! And so excited to see you trying something new!! I've always wanted to see you do long term results like testing out skincare and stuff, so excited for this new journey!!❤

Love it thanks for dedicating yourself to show us long term tests. Can not wait to see the next item. 🎉❤🎉❤😊
I know you get botox, but if you ever want to stop for a bit and try frownies, I’d love to see your results! I’ve been so tempted to try them for my forehead and eyebrow wrinkles!
Yess!!
Watching again. Rachel's hair is gorgeous.
Excited for your hair removal review. I’ve had it for a month and have no armpit hair regrown for 10 days now 🙌🏻 I’ve never experienced anything actually doing what it promises before 😂
I am excited for the long term tests!!! I feel the info will be way more useful for when we think of buying things
Wow Rachel! Thanks for the dedication to testing products longer for us! I’ve always been curious about the longevity of the Caraway pots/pans or other similar ceramic cookware if you’d ever consider testing something like that. Lume deodorant is another product I’ve been tempted to buy but not sure about 🤔
I love the long term videos. I would love to see your hair in a couple of months for an update.
Not too bad! I can tell this is a new format for you, but that means there’s room to grow and get comfy in it! It was a good video. I can’t wait to see more
I love this new format! 🥰
I love this new format
I ran to this video and am screaming 3mins in…..this is everything my little brain has ever needed 😮
Loved it! I’ll try to think of some ideas
Yesss! The review format we all need! Love it!
Love this! Thank you for doing this. These are popular and I would love honest reviews.
Yes I’m so here for this ❤🎉
i started trying to heal my hair a few months ago and this hair mask has been a game changer!! it smells amazing and it's honestly helped me be excited about showering (there's no worse waste of time than showering it's so freaking boring lol). and i DEFINITELY have noticed a difference by using leave-in conditioner and doing this mask every week! so exciting to see a true before and after of it!
To go along with this video, you should try a split end trimmer.
i love this it reminds me of old style youtube with a more mellow, longer video
You should get a hair towel, or microfibre towel for your hair. You can also use a soft tshirt. Also get a wet brush, I use the conair Knot dr brush.
Love this new version! Keep it up. Those ends look like bleach damage just chop them off your hair will get such a lift and look instantly thicker
Hi Rachel and Abbie happy new year ❤
ummmm SOLD!!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR THIS REVIEW!!
Split ends have to be cut. There is no going back, but the rest of it is treated.
Im just here for the ride, you can do no wrong by me :)
It's very windy today, high winds Rachel, good afternoon to the both of you.
couple things that want to get there hair healthier. routine trimming, wash with soap once a week (washing every day takes that natural oil out that the hair needs), claw clips do NOT pull up as much with hair ties... no heat... silk pillow cases, use hair oil to keep moisturized just like your skin :)
Your hair is not damaged girl. You just have split ends that need trimmed, totally normal. Also it's normal to lose a small amount of hair daily everyone does
Also there’s no such thing as alive/dead hair at certain lengths 😂
Love you Rachel
You better cut the dead hair instead of trying to make it better with a hair mask :x That's what I did, no regrets ! :) BUT still excited for the other products :)!!!
This is another hair product so I don’t know if you would want to try it but I’ve always wondered if Ola Plex is actually that good as they say it is because it’s really expensive and I’ve never bought it because of that! So maybe you can try it out ❤❤
all hair masks say 5 to 10 mins, my hairdresser says it should be at least 30 mins
Now I can’t stop staring at your eyebrows to see if they’ve grown
Praying for everyone. 💞🙏💞
I'm not sure if you'd be interested because it is pricey but perhaps testing different PEMF mats? I have an iMRS 2000 & love it, but not sure how other brands would be.

Sorry, looking back this video wasn’t that long 😅 I wouldn’t mind if you tacked on a few to include another product 🤷🏼♂️
I think you would look cute in short hair too
I've also been using this hair mask for a few months now and is it ever worth the money! Such a good product!
I only learned recently that as long as you use heat protection products blow drying your hair is much healthier for your hair than air drying.
The way you brush your hair is the reason for the damage.
i see these at stores, lip plumping lip gloss, i dont believe any really work, some tingle as well, theres a bunch of different brands, can u try those
You should make another section where every day you test things
useful stuff👌👌
If you want your hair shorter, cut it. If you want your hair longer, nourish the ends to prolong its life, staying longerrrrr…so simple! Your hair looks a lot healthier and lighter

From air dried before treatment to air dryed after 4th HUGE difference. Wow
Why not cut the ends?
Pleaseeee do the nuorganic lash serum I keep seeing on tiktok!!!
I could really tell even before you did the end pictures that your hair in general looked more healthy. Edit it would be interesting to have seen about how much you used out of the big tub..

Well now I wanna know why it got re-uploaded
probably because the image of the product had an error on the original upload

Braid it with the mask on and while sleeping!!

You just need a good trim to get rid of those dry ends. There is no product that will fix that. 😉
Joy (Rachel friend) has a UA-cam channel
I think you just need a good hair cut and you wearing your hair up will cause damage as well.
Yaaas
Love you Rachel… but as a licensed hairstylist the ONLY thing that fixes split ends is a haircut ❤
I have very unhealthy hair, compared to yours, so I always think yours looks good, minus the top. Those slow-mo parts of the video though were hilarious. Music felt nostalgic to like 90s/00s. XD
Lawn care products. I hate my patchy lawn.

Girl, all you need to do is maintain a periodic hair trim. Simple.
