How do you navigate a classroom that includes children of multiple ages, where such a mobile structure can be a falling hazard, if grasped by an older, non-walking child?

The safety of all children in the classroom is most important so I wouldn't have a mobile structure in a multi-age space. I have seen some classrooms designate a corner of the room for interactive mobiles, hanging them from an anchor in the ceiling but you'd need to ensure the long cords don't pose any strangulation hazards.
