Interesting product, looks great but I think I would need some some definitive information on how it is superior to just regulator powder coating. I use scrap, mixed color polyester powder from a local coater I get for free, I give my bullets one good shake in a plastic bowl, pour them out into a wire basket and shake them off (hundreds at a time) and push them into an old toaster oven for 20 minutes at 350*. I resize them to my desired size, load and shoot. No solvents, measuring, no triple coating or special handling and if you think it's not a tough coating I also do a hammer test. I pound them flat without any loss of coating, I load my Lee 358-158-RF (.358") powder coated slugs into 357 magnum brass and push them to over 1800fps in my Henry Big Boy 20" rifle. No leading and cleanup is the same as you stated. I just started loading the same bullet resized to .357" in 350 Legend brass for plinkers in my Ruger American bolt gun and have pushed them to over 2100fps and still no leading and if you think I'm using a special alloy I'm not, just dead soft lead water quenched after casting so this special coating would have to be something really superior for me to consider it.
Who supplies this stuff in the US? I’d also be interested to see how forgiving it is in consideration to gun dimensions or bullet alloy. It’s why so many of us go with powder coating or epoxy as opposed to hi-tek.
Coating looks great! What bullet mold are you using for these ? Also you probably know but the new HiTek powders come with the catalyst built in. You just need to add acetone. The Bullet Corp coating website in your descriptions is not working anymore. Do they have a new webt site ? Thanks!
Hello, can you help me please? We used the color orange but leoder it doesn't look nice at all. What could be the reason? Gladly by mail discs or instagram
