i lost that metal connector bracket should i go with it and paste my display ?
looking to just replace my screen as you do in the video...however many have the OLED + Digitizer ...is it necessary to replace the digitizer ...looks like prices are in the $100 to $150 range for both but an OLED screen alone can be as low as $40 + shipping
What happens if the black film at the bottom of the screen has a tear? Will that affect the new screen?

Are those amoled display replacements or lcd
thanks for the focus on the glue, used that - wish I'd ordered the 15ml and not the larger size, overkill.
So I have a question so my pixel 4a dropped and cracked on the corner and now it won't turn on, only that there's a white light in the top corner what could it be and can I fix it? Or do I need to send it in?
It's possible that the the display will still work on another phone after water damage ?Thanks in advance
To my understanding, you used for this t7000. What are the pros and cons of t7000 vs other glues like the t6000 and t8000... and other glues that I cannot name? Thank you!
IMO sometimes it's best to master one product, rather than always thinking about what might be better. Provided the result meets your spec, you've won! If it doesn't, then look further. It seems to me he loves the result he gets with T7000.
Available in India ?
Celcious?
Is there a way to just replace the glass and not the LCD display at home? The parts are way cheaper.
you have the fix of onlt fix the glass and not the screen inself
isn't 120 degrees a problem? I use universal 80 for different types of phones.
I have a pixel 4a with a shattered glass but a working display, is it possible to just replace the glass or the display has to be replaced as well, please inform me of the cost of the same too
No it’s not possible.
@@TechMDUA-cam There are a number of videos on UA-cam that demonstrate that it IS definitely possible. The question is whether it is feasible for the average person to do it.
@@lesterarbusto3535 yeah.... for an amateur like myself, it's very likely that you'll mess up the screen digitizer. I just wanted to replace the battery but somehow I broke the digitizer. I suspect it was static from myself or when I was prying too near the bottom components that I messed something up. So it is not possible if you don't do this for a living.
may I know the price of the screen please !
Yes go to the link in the description they should have a part in stock
You can shutdown the phone, even with a broken display. I recently went through that myself fixing a pixel2. First connect the USB charger cable to charge the device, that's very important, this will NOT work when off charger. You press & hold both power and volume buttons for approximately 5 ~ 10 seconds. It might take a screen shot, but that's ok, It should shutdown when the buttons are held down and on the charger. But without being on charger it would reboot the Android OS, instead of shutting down. You can test if the phone is working a few different ways, but I like testing for anything that would cause the phone to vibrate, usually touch the fingerprint reader, no vibe no power. I think a bunch of other phones do the same trick. Also, sometimes the phone might be unlocked, do it's worth trying to use ADB over USB to a computer.
Is tht an oled display
Yes OEM always
Be aware that removing a shattered screen will be tedious and you must be patient and careful to remove all of the bits from the glue channel between the screen and the phone body. Removing the old glue is a VERY tedious and time consuming process so be prepared to take considerably longer than the 30-60 minutes shown in the directions. Also be aware that having a magnifiying headset with lights should be a high priority purchase along with this kit. Re-attaching the screen-to-phone connector is also incredibly tedious and frustrating. It took more than 8 hours of work to get ours replaced. At first it all worked fine and 10 minutes later the screen failed. Be prepared to either be delighted that your efforts bring a phone back to life or that it will end in utter failure and frustration... it is NOT as easy as you think. The UA-cam videos are all missing this information and make it all look easy...... not so.
