Thanks for the tip with the plastic card to cut the adhesive and the heat gun temp. I watched a different video to replace a Pixel XL screen and it suggested a playing card, which was much too flimsy. The plastic card can bend too, but not nearly as easily. I think the 4a's adhesive is less strong too - removing it was a breeze. The size of the Torx driver is a T3, I believe. All told less than an hour to complete and a couple hours for the B7000 glue to dry.

I have an issue with my pixel 3xl. Mic not working properly when speaker is on during call or video call. Which mic is faulty it has two top mics. One with earpiece and the other in top right corner.

Yeah a hair dryer works just as well, be careful not to overheat the screen tho.
How can I get a new phone screen for the google pixel 4a so I can replace it?
This is for replacing the screen AND the LCD, right? Is there a video for replacing the screen without the LCD? The cost difference is substantial and my LCD isn't damaged at all.
You wont be able to seperate those components without specialized devices.

@@jeejjaaj8928 Incorrect! It's waterproof to a degree, but it has no IP rating. Meaning like older one plus phones and the 4a you can get them wet, but not for very long.

Be aware that removing a shattered screen will be tedious and you must be patient and careful to remove all of the bits from the glue channel between the screen and the phone body. Removing the old glue is a VERY tedious and time consuming process so be prepared to take considerably longer than the 30-60 minutes shown in the directions. Also be aware that having a magnifiying headset with lights should be a high priority purchase along with this kit. Re-attaching the screen-to-phone connector is also incredibly tedious and frustrating. It took more than 8 hours of work to get ours replaced. At first it all worked fine and 10 minutes later the screen failed. Be prepared to either be delighted that your efforts bring a phone back to life or that it will end in utter failure and frustration... it is NOT as easy as you think. The UA-cam videos are all missing this information and make it all look easy...... not so.

@@CGB7007 I literally used a hair drier and double sided tape and the screen came off like a cheat code activating. I got lucky though I had one of those tiny star screws, cuz that would be annoying to macgyver.
