    This wasn't an honest review.I Correct me if i'm wrong but check 7:37 and 7:41 she clearly fixed the top with a straightener or something. Your roots had creases and then suddenly they don't?

    Thanks for the opportunity. My hair is at a weird length right now (growing it out from a bob) & my irons are just not cooperating. The only rollers I've ever tried were those late 80's-early 90's jellyfish looking ones you pop open/close..these would be a huge step up lol.

    Try the Caruso Steam Rollers, they use steam to heat the rollers, and an ion technology to help soften and condition your hair. You can use the rollers everyday and they won't cause any breakage or heat damage to your hair.

    What is the trick to making curls stay in your hair all day with hot rollers? I have used hot rollers in the past with my hair and they don't last all day even with hair spray. Plus I end up having to leave the hot rollers in my hair for an hour before taking them out, otherwise, my hair doesn't curl.

    quick question: I have naturally curly and pretty frizzy hair. would the rollers still work on me? or would I have to do it right out of the shower. I just like the look of these curls over mine because it's more put together and smooth rather than mine crazy frizzy kind of curl.

    • @ashInTheWoods
      @ashInTheWoods 7 років тому +2

      Never use hot rollers on wet hair. The heat causes moisture in your hair to bubble up which leads to damage. You can compare it to over-inflating a balloon; it pops. The bubble expands until your hair shaft bursts and the damage is permanent. In general, hot rollers are not damage-free to begin with. Heat in any form still damages your hair. Hot rollers are safer if you keep the temp down, but they're still hot.
      That doesn't really answer your question though. If you have moderately curly hair that is fine, you can brush it out and this method will work, for the most part. If you have coarser or curlier hair, it probably won't provide great results. Some of your curl pattern will be retained and mildly flattened.

    Do they hurt when they are hanging off of your head? I'm not trying to be rude. I ask because I have some t3 hot rollers that I bought a few years ago and I find when they are curling my hair.. The weight of them hurts my head. And I let them hang just like you did here. I find that when I use them closer to my head they are too hot for my scalp. I also don't have thin hair either. Did you have this problem? You did a great job by the way

    • @Ellebangs
      @Ellebangs  7 років тому +1

      +Susana Barrientos no i didn't experience that. In terms of the heat touching your scalp you have move them around until they feel comfortable and then clip them.. but definitely nothing I couldn't put up with. 😀 thanks for watching'

I'm not sure if i should get a boar bristle or a metal/ceramic brush. I've heard that metal will heat up and damage the hair. I have quite dry hair and it's shoulder length. Which would you recommend getting?

    Very beautiful. You are very lucky you have thick hair. I had very thick hair for most of my life. Now that I'm in my 60s, it has thinned out considerably and I also have thyroid disease and take Synthroid, which I think thins it out even more. Now to my point. I just bought the T3 rollers on QVC for a great price. They offered 2 sizes. One Inch or 1-1/4". I purchased the 1.-1/4 (as advised for shoulder-length hair) however these rollers are not holding a curl. I sprayed Vavoom Hair Spray yesterday on hair and went outside to my car, and by the time I got to my destination, my hair was flat. It is so hot & humid here in Tn. So disappointed with these rollers. But the first thing I did last night was get on numerous websites/blogs regarding the T3 rollers. Every stylist or person who had these rollers, suggested the same thing. Set rollers VERTICALLY instead of horizontally. Additionally, everyone (and I do mean everyone) suggested a texturizing spray such as Kenra Professional Platinum Dry Texture Spray No. 6. Why? Because it increases texture and fullness up to 278%! This ultra-lightweight, non-drying formulation leaves the hair with a matte finish and provides flexible hold up to 48 hours. So I guess I will go find it at Ulta or order it online. I don't wanna have to give up these rollers so quick, so I'll try any and all suggestions! And yes, you do look like Penny from Big Bang and Shakira! Thank you for your great vids!
