I get this comment everytime I show you guys my natural texture. I appreciate your feedback and I do have videos on how to enhance your natural hair texture.
It's so refreshing to see other people having the same hair texture as me and achieving such great results with it :) My hair also looks fine while drying and onces it's completely dry (air dried) it turns into a mess
same problem, i lately forgot how i used to style my hair bc it has grown even bigger. Now im over here watching tutorials on how to bring volume up and not turn it into a half straight half curly mess.
I watched this video last night and tried it today and I had to comment to let you know that I appreciate this so much my hair hasn’t looked this good in years!!
I think your hair is beautiful. I think the natural curl/waves gives your hair body but I also would love for more women who already have alot of hair to embrace it and style it without extensions. You should do a tutorial on styling your hair without extentions. Because alot of women don't wear extentions. Beautiful Sylvia.❤😊
Oh my gosh, your wave would’ve been so perfect for the 80’s. We had to perm to get the natural look you have. Timeless. Gorgeous. (I’m 46, loved some of the 80’s styles). Thank you for sharing your professional talents and knowledge. 💕💕
This is so helpful how you showed how you added volume. I have thick hair with fine strands and even though I have a lot of hair it can often fall flat. Can't wait to try this!
Love you and watch all your vids! Just pro tip for other busy viewers, you can adjust the playback speed on UA-cam videos. I always watch this channel on double speed. Love the content and love that I can get it in a bit quicker ;)
You make it look easy. And your results are great. I use a rotating hot-air brush with a blow-dryer. It does the rotating for me. The hair is polished with incredible shine. The results are amazing. If you ever get tired of doing all the brush work, give one a try.
Gave myself my first blowout yesterday and while it was tricky at first, one I got to the top I kind of got the hang of it and its not as hard as I thought! Thanks for the extra tip and tricks, came in very handy!
Wow this was so helpful to me! The way you taught about taking the mohawk piece and blow drying it forward is the part in my blow drying that I was missing! 😂 I’m so glad I found your channel!
Agreed!!!! She had an upload about four years ago called extreme volume blow out - and I rewatch it about once a year to remind myself what I should be doing. Her explanations are so perfect and detailed :-)
Amazing.. never thought to completely air dry my hair. What a difference Thank you. I have super fine hair and crown is always flat. Gets thinner by the year.
I’ll be praying for you to find a new place!💛God will pick one for you that is way greater than the one you could have imagined. I love your hair and you always look so beautiful. I love this video!💛
Sometimes the look that’s most uniquely you, like waves, looks the prettiest! Although I think your curled hair is perfect- the natural hair on you really brings out your beauty and makes you stand out!
Great job Elle! your hair looks so beautiful. Do you ever use a blowout brush on your hair? I find the results to be so amazing and it's much easier then using a round brush and blowdryer.
@@Ellebangs I will say a prayer for you to get the perfect home, it can be very stressful and upsetting , I may or may not shed a few tears during the process myself but with prayers and faith the perfect home came to us even after others fell through, the final home was better and a better location than the others and was definitely meant to be even though my husband was ready to give up and throw in the towel lol it will all work out hang in there don’t give up xx

Love it. I always know why my blowouts don’t come out as sleek as I want and thats because I’m really afraid of putting too much heat on my hair so I don’t hold the blow dryer as close as I should to the brush and my hair comes out poofy and frizzy
Wow that was brilliant I have learned so much I absolutely dread doing my hair but definitely going to try this thank you soooo much for you videos and generosity with your time you are amazing xxx
It looks so simple done by you! Also it helped me understand probably a big brush might be better than a smaller one, I will definitely try, even if I don't know if I need to try too much with volume over the whole head since I don't have any layers and my hair is very long, so the weight will take it down anyway, but I feel this video will help me a lot with the 2 shorter layers near the face! It's exactly what I needed!
One of these days I am going to plan a trip around just getting my hair done by you! Thank you for always putting out great content that we can use at home! I could literally watch you all day (but since I can't I wait until my kids and husband are all asleep and then watch 🤣) Have heard alot of great things from a few ppl about the Dyson brand and am already saving my coins for the dryer! Also we have the same kind of hair type, mine is super wavy if I let air dry- do you use/recommend a good leave-in other than the pink tube you used here?
Totally appreciate your video. It's always great to get drying tips from a professional. I personally do not like the dyson hair dryer. Makes my hair super frizzy and lifeless if that makes sense? lol My go to hair dryer is the Solano Ion.. Worth every penny
Thank you for your video. I’m going to try this later for date night. Also, thank you so much for your post during the pandemic on roots. I was able to keep my hair looking nice during that time, thanks to all your professional insight and tips.
Thank you for this. My hair is only chin length or just a little past my chin. It’s cut into a bob, no layers. You seemed to explain this in a way no one else has. Especially the Mohawk part. I don’t know if this blowout will work for my hairstyle but I’m definitely going to try to do this. If it doesn’t work I can always reset my hair and try again. Wish me luck!
Just ordered the Dyson straightener for beach waves as well.... can't wait. Saved my points from Ulta (best way to get it for 1/2 off!) You explained perfectly the front fringe volume trick! I struggle there. See you tomorrow night. Looking forward to my consult!!
I just got a Dyson hairdryer for my 40th Birthday and I'm going to give this a go tomorrow for my party. I have naturally curly hair that I wear curly most of the time. I'm concerned by straightening my hair with the hairdryer I'll undo all of the good work I have done to make my hair a better condition??? Xxx
Wishing you all the best with finding a new home. On the bright side you have the most gorgeous hair on the planet. It must be so cool to be your own Super Stylist! :)
I just got the t3 dryer a few months ago and I love it! Can't keep up with you lady 😂😂. I'm so grateful for your blow dry videos and even though I know how to do it, I'll still put one of them on because there's always a tip you forget. I have a curtain fringe, how do I blow dry the front section without it sticking up or looking disconnected while still getting volume on the top? Thanks lovely 💕 💕
Hi there love your videos thank you for sharing. I do have a question regarding the extensions you used on this video, where did you get them and what color are the two? My hair color is similar to yours and I have never really done extensions and liked the way you so quickly out those in and the look and color so thought to try these if I wanted to kind of play around with extensions for the first time 😊 thank you!!!
I want your hair color soooo badly! I have dark brown hair, some grey and my highlights always look yellow or orange. My stylist says she can’t lift me without my hair breaking :( Your hair is GORRRRGEOUS!
This is going to a controversial opinion.... But the Dyson Blow dryer.... OVERRATED! Bought 6 for my salon, and sold them within a month! I'd give them a 6/10 at best, just my opinion. Best Blow Dryer Brand on the planet.. Parlux.
I have used the Parlux, babyliss, gama, T3, Harry Josh, Lange and the Dyson blowdryer is still my fav! As I mentioned this isnt a sponsered post, I truly love the blowdryer. To each their own, thanks for your feedback.
Not a professional (although I do feel I’ve made a “career” out of taming my wild-ass curly hair) but the Dyson blow dryer has been a total game changer for me. Wish I’d made the investment years ago!
Great step by step tutorial! & I like your natural hair a lot! It’s crazy that I say that, bc I also have wavy/frizzy textured hair that’s very similar to your natural hair. However; I get annoyed with mine & end up pulling it up or I’ll blow dry it straight also. So; I definitely understand how u feel about not liking your own natural hair with this wavy/frizzy texture 🙃 It’s funny how we will see our own natural wavy hair as annoying, but others will see it as pretty & wish they had it!
Gorgeous! I think I needed a reminder to let my hair dry more before I start blowdrying to save my arms! How do you keep a blowout for days? Are you wrapping your hair at night ?
I have thicker, longer hair and I find that if I start with wet hair that my hair blows out much smoother. If I wait until my hair is pretty dry naturally I find that my blow outs come out pretty frizzy and never as straight or smooth.
What T3 base are you using Syl? Is it the 1.5 “voluminous curls”, the 1.5 “loose waves” ? Definitely wanting to buy exactly what you’re using 😂❣️ thank you so much my queen
I know this is old but do you have any tips for a blowout for someone with difficult hair that is super long? my arms arent long enough to do some of these techniques
This was so helpful! Can you show us how to style hair without a part? I like to flip my hair to either side and it can look weird. Like what should we do differently at the Mohawk section?
I actually really like your natural beachy waves in the beginning of the video; but you always look awesome anyway. Thanks for the videos - ESPECIALLY the blow out ones! I finally got your one from 4 years ago down to a tee....then I lost my round brush 😭 turns out it was from another country & discontinued. I can't do it with the other 27 brushes I tried since then; so, I've been back to half bun life since. Teach me all over again 😭 FML 😭 my hair is SO FLAT & FRiZZY!
Can you please do a video on the dyson air wrap, I am struggling to get the curls to last and I’m using the smallest size attachment too, I have fine hair and I’m really having a hard time the curls don’t even last an hr
Beautiful! The problem I have with this style with my hair is that I have very fine, straight hair but a lot of it. So, the waves/curls last 6 hours at the most. Do you have any recommendations for products that might help hold my style?
Hi there I feel your pain I also have fine straight hair and I can get curls to last for 30 mins using a curling iron r the dyson air wrap it’s so annoying as my hair doesn’t suit me super straight and flat. I would be happy with 6 hrs of curls or good wave at this point 🤦♀️
If on a budget I have found that the Healthy Heat Pro-Power Dryer from EVA•NYC (got mine at Sally Beauty Supply for $60) works amazing at giving a blow out. It's no dupe for the Dyson by any means but it has worked wonders on my thick, long hair.
@@Ellebangs maybe dyson would gift you the set, I got it for Mother’s Day and love it, just struggling to keep curl in however my hair doesn’t hold curling iron curls either and really stinks I feel like I can’t do much to my hair as it breaks easy, I have such tiny pieces of breakage roots to mid shaft which is not typical normally the damage is more towards the ends, My hair was in good condition because I air dried it the majority of the time during the past year, until I got the revlon styler and my hair broke so much, I was using biolage products until recently I just invested in the color wow line and got a ton of products what is your take on that line? I also sleep on a satin pillow case, I’m really upset my hair has so many tiny broken pieces. Please help
I have a weird question. Hope it makes sense. It’s about toning hair. I went to a salon sometime last year. The lady that did my hair highlights and added toner. She lower my base coat with toner left it in for about 20 mins. I thought it was wired at first but it came out looking really nice! Loved how she got the base color. Recently I went to another salon and I love the highlights more from this salon I mentioned to her the last salon I went to lowered my base color with toner and this new lady told me you can’t lower base color with toner. So I guess the question is can you or can you not? What do you think the lady that did it used on my hair? I never heard or a toner you can leave in for 20 mins.

Can’t ***
I agree with other posts your messy curl/texture is very nice!!
What products did you use? Just primer at the start?
If on a budget I have found that the Healthy Heat Pro-Power Dryer from EVA•NYC (got mine at Sally Beauty Supply for $60) works amazing at giving a blow out. It's no dupe for the Dyson by any means but it has worked wonders on my thick, long hair.
Could you do a tutorial on a blowout with the dyson air wrap? I’d love to see it!
I need to get the air wrap!
Please help
Also the only chemical that I use on my hair is Paul Mitchel PM shines Demi color and love it however it has just been discontinued such a bummer
I never heard or a toner you can leave in for 20 mins.
you have natural curly hair!!! I would love to see you with curly hair!! :)
I’m getting JLo at the Super Bowl halftime vibes from this! 🤍
