Really enjoying your videos, I'd watch you talk about paint drying! Not sure if you can get all of them over in Sweden, but you could do a video on the 3 main Irish stouts; Guinness (obvs), Beamish and Murphys!
Thanks for sharing your favorite Swedish beers. In the Los Angeles/US area Swedish beer is hard to find. But now I know what to order on my next trip to Malmo.
Good videos!! I love learn about the culture of other countries, and the beer is a part of this culture of course!! I’ve only visited Malmö and Lund in Sweden and I tried “the tail of a whale” and some crafts beers in a place called Malmo brewing co & taproom (I’ve had to see the names in the album of my trip haha) Greetings from Murcia (Spain). TACK!
For some reason that beer is on every single bar or restaurants, im not sure why, cause itäs not that good. But it made it into everywhere somehow haha "Tail of a whale" I mean.
Sadly, I can only subscribe once. I not only learned about Swedish beer, but also Swedish geography, rivalries, and culture. is there a Swedish producer of Hefeweizen? Thank you from Western Canada.
I prefer Helsingborgs 😊 but in germany Andechs Export Dunkel. Interesting was a very expensive Waldhaus beer that cost me 1,50€ for 33cl. It had 8 different Hops and was 2x cold hopped.
I have only tried Jämtlands and West Coast IPA out of these. Norn I thought I had tried, but appearantly not. I buy more obscure beers most of the time I guess. Oppigårds is great overall tho. They made it into the mainstream, but great brewery. I agree with West Coast IPA, one of my absolute favorite tropical IPA:s, a great beer. Jämtlands not so much. Have to retry it, was like 5 years ago I tried one. Anwyay. I think it's sad that our macro beer is so bad, compared to like Germany for example. Even the massproduced pilsner there is great (like Jever and Radeberger, som of my favorites).
I think that maybe Swedish beer has a reputation something like "American" beer. Unless you're aware of the local craft scene, you're missing what's actually being brewed. In America there's the huge breweries that brew "beer" without taste that give the country a bad reputation that people drink at football games, and then there are local breweries in cities coast-to-coast that brew real beer. And I've always thought Swedish beers were what you'd drink duty free on ferries to Fredrikshavn, Mariehamn or Helsinki. Ha!! But now I know better ... from a new subscriber!!
I think we are one of the countries with the most breweries per capita in Europe. I think USA also has a lot of great beers. But the macro stuff in Sweden, is terrible. It's the alcoholic stuff. Things like 5.2:an and so on. There are some of the macro brews that are okay.. but compared to good ber bad, like Sofiero and Stockholms beer. Really cheap beer. Bought them as a teenager to get drunk before I even liked beer.
I don’t know how I came across this channel but I’m glad I did. Great combination of humor, good reviews and lovely beers. Subscription +1
Thank you, UA-cam Algorithm. 😁
Welcome aboard!

I will soon have a lesson about stouts and porters (by a friend), so maybe in the future when I know more about the style(s)!

Yeah, I can imagine. These are some solid choices that most (beer loving) people will enjoy. 😊
In my opinion Helsingborgs beer if you are in Scania

Är man knäpp om man älskar Mariestad på flaska?

There are surprisingly a lot of Swedish Hefeweizens but I haven't tried a single one. 😅 That's a video idea!
Kung kanal!
West Coast vs. East Coast - not only a rivalry in Rap music...😂😂😂
I often find myself reaching for any Stigbergets whenever I see it here in Denmark.
It's a good brewery, just make sure the beer is fresh or it can be spoiled. That has happend to me one time.
Gött mos
A litte bit more micro, but my fav Swedish beer is Örebro Bitter from Närke kulturbryggeriet!
Nice, I'll put it on my list!

Love how you close the videos hahaha. DRiNk ReSPo-
There are now more than 500 breweries in Sweden.
Nils Oscar God Lager is my favourite 👍🏻
A modern classic!

Yeah, the most sold and consumed beers are the cheap macro / "international styled" lagers, so there are definitely similarities!

Harda bud i Mellerud is called 7:1 in Brasil. After they lost against Germany in WM semifinal 2014, this became a saying for a mishap...😂😂😂
Fasen va kul. Svenska öl. Jag tror jag måsste subba kanalen. I have started to enjoy beers again after a long time of wine drinking.
the cap isn't that bad
Maybe I'll try it on some more!
