I met Sinbad in 2018 before health challenges. We were staying at the same hotel. He was taking musical instruments out of his truck. I offered to help offload. Couldn't hide my excitement and thanked him for his career as an actor and comedian. We talked for 30 minutes about music. People with me thought we knew each other for years. Great guy! He's had his health challenges and I have mine. Meeting him was one of the best moments of my life.
My mom has lupus and it is a very challenging thing to deal with for me and my family. I feel so terrible for not recognizing how bad things would get. God bless you and anyone that has to live with that.

A lot of kids these days think that 90s culture is just Disney movies and Nickelodeon. But there were so many weird, obscure movies that we watched constantly on VHS. Jingle All the Way, First Kid (also with Sinbad), Homeward Bound, Fly Away Home. Such a great time for children's media.
