Nice to see the old cards again, love the artwork from this set.
The artwork in this set is no joke. As much as I was one of its critics (including banning betrayers in my house for chaos events) it was always enjoyable to look at.

I was not playing during OG Kamigawa so it’s always fun to see these openings. It’s tough because you know you’re going to get killed on value but sometimes just the trip down memory lane can be quite cool.
This is also a test in how much do people really want to watch vintage openings. So far, not a whole lot.
@@PackOpeningAddict vintage stuff is so tough. I’ve wrestled with this topic too. I even bought a few small things with the mindset of cracking on channel. My fear then becomes breaking open an investment and having the video get zero traction. You’ve obviously worked to obtain a wider reach than I have but I know it’s all relative to what your normal viewership is like in contrast to the experimental product. I’d be interested to pick your brain on this in a couple of weeks as a post-mortem. 😃

I had a chance to get my hands on a singed hana kami playmat by Rebbeca guay during her kickstarter but I chose to order a different one instead (path to exile extended)... but it didnt turn out that great... so I wish I got that Hana kami one instead, the puking flower art is just too iconic... and i never even was around during that time, its just so awesome of an image that its iconic even to me!

Super cool opening! I've actually never seen any of the old Kami stuff opened. And there is always a reason to opened old product. To free them from their prison, let the cards breath!
Been under the weather a few days, but did catch you last few vids. That HoD box was pretty wild, and had some banging mythics. Not sure when I'm gonna get any of the K:ND, but with your videos I'm getting more and more interested in it for sure. Good stuff!

Doesn't matter if the cards aren't worth opening. The artwork alone is enough to make me open them. This was around when foils actually meant something to! 😃

It probably would be a lot easier to just leave the cards in the order they come in, put down the pile face-down and flip them over one by one. That way, the commons/uncommons/rares are in the right order.
Are these the same packs that came in the Fat Packs? I wish they still had these too- randomized card selection, possibility for a decent start on a Standard deck. Seems good. Of course if they did have them, they would probably cost too much for what they are, like stupidass worthless "theme" boosters.
Fat packs came with one of these. You could buy tournament packs individually or by the box of 12.
They were great for sealed tournaments. Never understood why they got rid of them. (I think Lorwyn was the last set that had them)
