Suggestion: Carry along a battery powered fan. It will help tremendously with the humidity.

Pick up a cotton sleeping bag liner and just use the liner when its hot and humid

Nothing like a solo camp trip to work the kinks out in your planning and gear strategy. The power supply you brought looks like it is more than up to the task, a great idea for keeping everything charged up. It is too bad drones are not allowed in the parks though, some awesome footage could be obtained. Thanks for this one John. Oh and a quick P.S. did you see the IM I sent you on The Facebook regarding an $80 vertical trailer storage solution? Take good care ;)

Morning John and Miriam. Well sir, you did it, you experimented with you found that with just yourself, you over booked, we'll use that term. You've got some fine tuning to do but I truly believe yall can do it. You might have to book a hotel a couple of times but so what it's the adventure of getting away from home for a while. Looking on down the road for July 4th seems as though it was just a couple weeks ago that we met. That's it for this Saturday. Yall have a terrific day and weekend. Later.

John, as a side note . . . I'd love to see you possibly do a more in-depth review of your Westinghouse portable power supply. You mentioned in the video that you had wished perhaps, you had done a bit more research. If you could elaborate on this, I think many would be interested. What you do and do not like about this unit? What features another brand may offer which would be valuable. Thanks as always John ;)

Really like your vids would love to just take off on a spyder and don't look back for a month or two. Ok back to reality that little stove would not be able to hold up my cast iron pots plus where would i store my 5 gallon propane tank and fixings for a jambalaya or gumbo not to mention my gumbo pot. Just kidding keep making them I'll keep watching and dreaming

I have to ask, do your legs stiffen up on you. I find when I ride the Spyder for 30 or so minutes, they tend to stiffen and hurt. I don't have boards, only the pegs so this makes it hard to stretch. Because of this, it would take me forever just going from Vancouver BC to Seattle.

    • @JohnMiriamsTravelVlog

I must say I like the boards, I can stand up when riding and stretch. Miriam will say at the end of a 4 hour ride "OK, hop off" so she can get off, after 4 hours, im not hopping anyplace!.

@@JohnMiriamsTravelVlog The problem is I don't think they have boards for a manual.

I've never purchased from them but they seem to have lots of peg / board options. Good luck and happy shopping.
