As a fun little experiment, this video has 150 real dislikes and 404 via the extension.
its interesting to know that its not exactly a true amount, but at the same time, honestly, I think it should be accounted for regardless if the companies themselves won't provide the actual data. UA-cam hiding the dislike system imo is a promotion of positive toxicity, and it devalues criticism, I feel like this is something that should actually be addressed as a law or something similar, because seeing the like/dislike ratio is a way for people to understand the general view on a post. regardless of bots existing to, its really dumb that we cannot publicly view the dislikes on something.
503 dislikes
Any idea why this video shows in my notifications as posted 9 minutes ago even though it’s been out for 3 days?
Over 500,000 dislikes.
Those who are predisposed to watching Bad Batch are more likely to be positive about it, many others may be entirely unaware of its existence though.
UA-cam hiding dislikes was so stuiped
It was 100% fueled by politics and garbage like this show. Not saying this as a dig on eck, just saying that UA-cam picked a side on the “culture battle” that eck referred to in this video.
The dislikes were used to just down vote creator on mass and used by bigger creator's to send their fans to downvote. It was used as a form of Harrasment. That's why UA-cam got rid of it.
UA-cam said it was to protect small content creators, yet it is far more likely it was done to protect giant corporations from easily viewable criticism.
@@ZESAUCEBOSS no it was not. it was because of bots and brigading used to harass small creators

@stevenle9960 pattern recognition. Disney Star Wars' track record means I'm not giving them any more chances. I didn't even like Andor. Not that that show was bad, it was just too boring for me.
They never should have removed the dislike display.
They only did that at the behest of companies like Disney.
Eh, it just encouraged toxicity.
UA-cam is enough of a cesspit.
Also, for advertising it causes problems because people are intentionally interacting with videos they don’t like.
@@Justanotherconsumer "Eh, it just encouraged toxicity."
No. getting rid of it definitely did, though.
Now scams and unhelpful bullshit are more plentiful than EVER.
@@KaiserMattTygore927 does a visible dislike button actually change any of that?
The scams are up, I’m guessing, because UA-cam is losing advertisers to newer and more cost effective (for advertisers) social media platforms.
Toxicity was going way up even before the change, so hard to say what removing dislikes did to that trend.
Just add the plugin
I watched the trailer and was like: ehh whatever. Doesnt look bad, doesnt look suprisingly good. We will see when it comes out
It did look bad especially that opening act of the trailer
@@AntiTMG No. It didn't.
@@AntiTMG The opeining act... you mean the kids? What are they meant to add to that?
Ya, didn’t spark anything for me. We will see where it goes.
This is the correct take. I'm deeply critical of Star Wars Disney but there was nothing in that trailer to really indicate if it is going to be bad or good. Most it looked mid, with the movements by the Trinity actress at least looking slick.
The lack of negative criticism able to be directed at a YT video in the form of a public 'dislike' tally renders the public 'like' button virtually pointless to the viewer. It's only purpose is 1) to provide redundant analytical data to the uploader, and 2) to manipulate the viewer with positivity bias. It's YT's equivalent of the Ryugyong Hotel in North Korea.
I actually noticed that video 'engagement' (through upvotes) drastically dropped across every video & content creator I follow after it was removed, the idea that it makes ratings essentially meaningless seems to hold true for a majority of people.
Its cause these mega corporations were losing millions with the dislike brigades and twisted youtube's arm to stop it
I didn't hate the acolyte's trailer but it really didn't seem that interesting at all
But, just like marvel as proven, being loudly bad it's preferred over being mediocrely quiet. Both kill franchises, but at least you can go wild and insane with trash.

@@toobig7150 A movie or show being annoyingly bad I always thought was worse but at least with boring you could just sleep through.
Well, to be fair they’re not gonna give much away in the first trailer. For the most part trailers for SW or Marvel shows tend to only show clips from the first 3 episodes, maybe a clip or two from episodes beyond that. But, yeah, look at any trailer for a SW or Marvel show from the past 5 years and, yeah, most all clips are from the first 3 episodes.
It’s probably just general fatigue from the force or how it’s been mishandled and people are hungry more for the other side of starwars that Andor shows with the more common man and woman, much like what Rogue Squadron could’ve been and Mandalorian started off with.

I think the other aspect is that one of the gals running the show was Westeins former assistant
I think unless there's evidence she was involved in Weinstein's crimes, it's wrong to hold that against her. This guy is a sex offender that was awful towards countless women, and it's not unlikely that he was awful towards female assistants as well. Just the possibility of blaming a victim for crimes that may well have been directed at her, I just can't do that. If evidence comes forward that she was complicit, I'm with you 100%, but I can't without evidence.
@@garbotoxins840 She had publicly stated that she was never assaulted by Weinstein. I find it unlikely as a personal assistant that she would be completely unaware of what was going on with Weinstein but I guess still possible. My big problem is I get the feeling from her interviews that she doesn't really care about or understand Star Wars. Just another person hopping on the franchise to squeeze as much cash out of it as possible.
@@largosgaming Rogue one and Andor were written by some who otherwise has no interest in star wars though. I'm not saying that because of that acolyte will be good but. I think a fresh mind that isnt so filled with lore could be needed to bring something fresh to star wars. Obviously they need to know how shit works in the lore. But really only the basic essentials.
I think Andor and Rogue one were great because they were written in a way that takes the events seriously and with gravity.
And? That's like saying that someone working for a corporation is guilty of everything the CEO does. Most of an Assistant's job is just scheduling things, and she only worked for him for a very short time period.
The acolyte's dislike ratio is the least surprising news I've seen come out of Hollywood since the success of Endgame
The problem as I see it is Disney has just demonstrated a record of poor management over the star wars IP. With rushed projects, cancellations, poor writing and directing, etc... and just overall star wars just feels like a mess right now. So think back about when we first started getting announcements for new Star wars shows the reception was overall very positive but now after getting our hopes and expectations constantly broken it's hard for a lot of fans to maintain that same optimism. I'm sure everyone wants this show to be amazing but Disney is going to have to prove to us first that they can deliver on that before this pre-emptive backlash starts to subside
That's what happens when you're more focused on getting past CCP censorship, and placating the DEI mob than writing a good story in universe.
Don’t get your hopes up. The major reason why Kathleen Kennedy is so problematic is because deep down all she cares about is profit. She just uses the whole DEI thing is as a shield to justify her decisions. Unless she is removed from her position content will not get any better.
I think there’s truth to this, but I’m led to think that this is a minority opinion. Most people that hate this show already are anti-woke rwers who have been on the Disney hate train since Princess and the Frog
I expect only shitshows from Disney/Marvel.
Keep in mind people prob don’t dislike as much because it’s harder to see the like button or u just can’t
I presume it's related to Headland, bith her statements and history with Weinstein.
And the apparent genocide of white people
The extention figures may be a bit off but given UA-cam hid the dislikes to help corpos we have no choice but to go with them. People have been conditioned to dislike Disney products, years of failures and hating on fans will have that effect.
the Acolyte sits at 186k likes and 592k dislikes currently. firefox has addons that make the dislikes visible still.
@@FuImaDragon Literally watch the video, Eck explains how those addons work. No, they don't make the dislikes actually visible. It's an estimated ratio based on the people that have the extension installed.
In laymen's terms
"New thing looks the same as old thing that was also bad so it'll probably be bad"
If there was any indication that things were going in some new direction, people might have some level of CAUTIOUS optimism (but disney would still need to earn that trust and respect going forwards) - but this looks like more of the same sludge and people are DONE.

I disliked the trailer mainly because it feels like it's going to be a "Kenobi show" and not a "Andor show" if you catch my drift.
The creatives involved make me think it'll probably be somewhere between Mando and Andor tone wise.
No i dont, what does that even mean?

It's worth noting that Andor had a 250 million dollar budget. I don't think having shows at the caliber is sustainable for Disney+.

@@datguy3581 I would agree with you if they didn't spend $300mil to make The Dial of Destiny, or $25mil to make an episode of Hawkeye or WandaVision. They haven't cared about budgets for a while, and while those seem big, you have shows like Friends that were $10mil an episode just for them to sit in an apartment, lol.
Disney lost my trust after Book of Boba Fett… Then Obi-Wan… Then season 3 of Mando… too many misses to even bother at this point.
Boba Fett was disappointing but kenobi was heart breaking. I haven't even watched any star wars since and have just been checking in from time to time.

There was something in between Obi Wan and Mando S3. I’m trying to think… oh wait that was Andor which is the best piece of Star Wars media ever released and Better than the OT.
Disney really has little to do with the ups and downs of lucasfilm. Disney mostly just approves or disapproves of projects proposed to them and figures out release schedules. Blame Lucasfilm for the issues. Also I like BoBF a lot. It’s my second favorite of the live action shows behind Andor.

Okay, not a hot take, just my honest opinion, I'm not excited for the Acolyte but not for the reason you might think. I'm actually decently okay with the High Republic, I'm just not fully versed in it, and as far as the Sith involvement goes, Star Wars has done weirder and more lore-bending shit before. I'm not excited for it mostly because it's likely going to re-hash a point from the prequels: "The Jedi are so caught up in their own power and supremacy that they're not able to stop the rising threat of the Sith and their own apathy and complacency kills them". I just honestly feel like we already have a good representation of this in the prequels and I don't see the need to have it be rehashed. There's plenty of dark already in the world right now, both fictional and very real, and I find it hard to get excited for a show that will inevitably have to tread some very dark ground without resolving anything. We know that a couple hundred years from this, Palpatine will destroy the Jedi and the Sith's plans will either go undiscovered until it's too late, or the Jedi of the past find out about it and cover it up, dooming the order. I don't think the show will be bad by any means, it looks decent, it's just not what I'm looking to watch right now.
This is the most balanced comment 👍 thanks

I just can't be excited anymore for Disney era star wars. I can only be pleasantly surprised.
I don’t know why they don’t make shows like Rogue Squadron or the Old Republic
I just thought it was "meh."
Not bad or good, just something I didn't need to go and watch.
I use the extension as more of a ballpark. I think you can definitely say this trailer was not universally well received, and probably has a substantially larger number of dislikes than your average trailer. I don't get hung up on the exact number or even whether it has more dislikes than likes.

I searched for the acolyte trailer and What I saw recommended more was like 3 channels do videos about how it was the Kathleen Kennedy South Park episode. “Put a chick in it and make her gay”.
Which at this point after Andor, Kenobi and mando being about male characters I’m just convinced those people will be upset anytime a woman is cast in general.
All of those videos were also about the dislikes and were saying that it proves their whole thing. One of the thumbnails said “they just finally killed Star Wars.” With Kathleen Kennedy and the South Park characters 😅
Disney's writing for their female cast always felt awful. It's genuinely funny
Yeah, If I had a nickel for every time a Star Wars fan said “they killed Star Wars” especially when Star Wars add diversity to their cast, casts a woman, or has an anti-capitalist anti oppression story - I would have a lot of nickels.
Kenobi was upstaged by Reva, Mando Season 3 was upstaged by Bo Katan, and BoBF was upstaged by Fennec Shand.

Since the announcement of the acolyte series I've been the most hopeful about it of any new star wars series. I generally love those dark sider oriented stories because there's so few of them. After the trailer though I'm really not excited about it anymore. It looks very bland and safe to me. I don't want a story about bad guys to be safe and I don't want an "actually they're the good guys" narrative either. I want a dark side story to be, well, dark, and I don't think Disney has the balls to do it right.
I just want them to execute good ideas properly. Disney's handling of female cast has very few good one.

What does “volume” mean in this case of colour?
Star Wars was destroyed the moment Jake skywalker casually threw dad’s lightsaber over his shoulder in TLJ.

That’s a lot of Jedi in a show about the sith
Yup!
Even if you aren’t as excited Eck, I do thank you for keeping an open mind regarding the acolyte.
Hope you feel better brother.
I'm very intrigued by The Acolyte. I hope that it is good and does good so that we'll get new Star Wars content not so centered around the same few decades of the galaxy that is really beginning to get bloated.
@@Blodhelm and? having any content that isnt the main block that is usual star wars seems fine.

Filoni has been aping Legends at every turn for decades. How could anyone think otherwise? Of course he's going to "steer" towards legends, whatever that means, by stealing the ideas he likes, watering them down, cutting out all incredibly important and nuanced context, and splashing on the most bland, Sequel-esque paint on them.
He's been doing exactly that for decades.
Disney just lost the plot. We all want them to be greater but we just don’t think it’s possible at this point.
My biggest gripe with the trailer is that there is little to no hint as to the premise of the story, it’s basically: “ooo there’s someone with a red lightsaber, red bad, Jedi good”
It’s like all Disney knows how to write with Star Wars are a bunch of evil and edgy jerks and they refuse to make any stories about the Sith or the Empire and just try to make a bunch of unlikeable “good guys.” Just watch Pirates of the Caribbean and you’ll get what I mean.

Fandom for Star Wars is over the top toxic but this is what you get when you combine social media and the selling out of a well loved franchise to a clueless media conglomerate like disney.
Personally the movie series ended with Return of the Jedi and the outlier that is Rogue One.

The high republic novels are excellent. IDK why it would be controversial. The only negativity i've heard about The Acolyte is that it will be woke.
f disney sw is dead
Honestly I just feel like the reason so many people are skeptical of the acolyte is because the past few Disney+ Star Wars shows haven’t been all that great so people think that trend will continue with the acolyte.
Here’s my take, it’s kinda similar to this: Let’s say you have a favorite sports team and the new season is about to start, however you have very little faith in said team, why? Because in the last 5 seasons they have had losing seasons and missed the playoffs, so while the new season could be different, it could also be similar to the other 5 seasons in counting a trend of being a bad team that has a losing season and misses the playoffs.
Now back to the acolyte, while it’s new and while it could be good, the last few shows Disney has done with Star Wars hasn’t been good so I do not have faith this show will be good even though it could be good, I still don’t have too much faith that it will be good.
That’s just my take though.
what do you mean "last few shows"? Mandalorian, Andor, Bad Batch, Ahsoka, Tales of the Jedi, Visions. Were all great. I liked the others too but I know they are less popular so I left them out. But those 6? Majority liked no?

@@unincognito3689 Agreed. There's been some mediocre stuff for sure, but I've enjoyed the majority of what's been made.
I don't think this is actually true though. Despite what certain circles online would say Ahsoka was well liked and well received. Andor was good, and Mando is 2 for 3. season 3 wasnt even atrocious it just wasn't great.
BOBF and Kenobi had their issues, but i feel like the disappointment for what they could have been overshadows their good elements.
I don't think that's quite fair. There was nothing in the trailer that was a major red flag. The Acolyte is getting undeserved hate when what people are really mad about is Kenobi, BOBF, and Mando season 3.

Hey Eck,
Just a fun question amidst the turmoil, but if you were a pilot in the SWU, what Ugly would you create to make the perfect personal starfighter?
of course people are negatively charged towards it. Any good faith old fans had was depleted gradually through the years. And the trailer like you said wasn't anything special, it told us close to nothing and if it used some of the best scenes in the show (like trailers usually did in the past) then it's gonna be another mudslide at best and another Kenobi at worst.
I feel like old fans need to accept that Star Wars isn't what they want it to be. It's been years.
@@datguy3581 well they want star wars to be good or at least on a similar quality level to the prequels.
And there can be good star wars made. Andor is the most recent example of good star wars. Sadly since Andor we've been getting horseshit quality shows, again.
@@datguy3581Of course it's not what we want it to be and that's why we dislike it lol.

I don’t have any hate towards the high republic but it’s lucas films/disneys own fault that no one really cares about it, all they’ve done is release mid books (which most casual fans don’t read) and have a couple mentions of it in other media, no reason to get hyped about the high republic or anything surrounding it since most casual fans aren’t interested in it
Yeah I don't have hard feelings one way or the other on any 'era' of the SW timeline, I just know what regardless of time period it is statistically likely that modern writers are going to be incapable of doing it justice.
Hot Take: Even if George Lucas directed all of the shows/movies, it wouldn't be enough to save star wars (maybe unless he focuses on an entirely new era like Old Republic or make a new one). The franchise has been milked to a point where all the related media is bland. We've seen the empire too many times
If that trailer was supposed to get me to watch even one minute of the show, it failed. What I saw was boring and nothing new.
Especially the 'someone is killing Jedi' part. A good trailer would have shown us at least one Jedi getting killed. Maybe even a Jedi getting killed while he tries to warn the others.
As for the red lightsaber? I feel they just put that in to start the very discussion about broken lore it did, because they have nothing else left to spark any interest in the show. In my case however, I don't care any more, because I know they don't care about logic as shown in the first episode of Ahsoka and they don't care about entertaining us.
Disney does have issues with “telling not showing”. I am not sure what Disney has in mind here with The Acolyte. In any case I hope that it’s a home run. The half-baked shows that have incomplete visuals and incomprehensibly bad stories are fun to watch to a degree, but Disney can only have so many strikes and foul balls before they lose the game.
In lore and canon the red lightsaber isn’t unique to the Sith, so there is no reason to believe this is the Sith necessarily.
@@jeffreycarman2185 No, it doesn't have to mean Sith, but anyone with half a brain would know that this would spark the discussion anyway.
Especially with that Sith having been thought extinct for a thousand years or so.
And it did generate more talk about 'The Acolyte', didn't it?
I am just not really interested in it. I don't see anything star warsy about it beyond the light sticks. It's just not for me
Maybe we wouldn’t have to analyze the context behind UA-cam dislikes if the dislikes weren’t hidden from us to begin with
This really looks like a show
It’s a trend now to literally shit on something before it comes out. But then again Disney has been shocking star wars out since the last Jedi. The only acception is andor.
Pattern recognition.
Modern "writers" love to talk about "subverting expectations" but if they actually wanted to subvert our expectations how about they try WRITING SOMETHING GOOD because that would be the most surprising thing they could possibly do at this point.
I hope someone retcons the entire Disney verse at some point because I'm 100% checked out on anything new they put out now its over, done, finished, dead IP to me. I'll still watch the old movies because they are legitimately great and play the games I like (Empire at war mostly) but thats it, I don't even plan to watch season 2 of Andor despite liking season 1 because I'm done. For some context as a kid I don't even know how young I was when I watched Star wars its so young that its one of my eariest memories its like just part of me and its sad to say that the love has died. I just don't want anymore (of this) Star Wars ever again
@eck After my last comment it occured to me that there is no point in being subbed to your channel anymore as I'm out of Star Wars but I have enjoyed your content and just wanted to say thank you for your work and that I wish you luck in the future. Its not you its Disney.
I will be holding my judgement until I watch the whole series. I think it has potential, but obviously we can't know from just a single trailer.
In the words of someone i forgot the name of, I'm cautiosly optimistic
love the vids man, truly, i know everyone just says this but i truly mean it, best sw channel out there.
We're at the point where even as a lifelong die hard Star wars fan, I now get more entertainment from watching the bad reviews and the hilarious "shill react" videos. This is not a truth I chose or want, but it's a reflection of what Disney have intentionally done to our beloved franchise. They simply aren't interesting making good stories any longer, they have other agendas which we're clearly all sick of.
The good news is that Andor (and Rogue one, see the theme?) Have demonstrated that if they just let somebody with talent make a good show, the fans will still accept it. So there is still hope for Star Wars in future, I don't believe Disney have killed it fully. But I also have absolutely no faith in them to be the ones to turn it around. I also expect the Acolyte will be just as bad as The book of Boba and Kenobi etc. That's the normal expectation now, and that's not our fault. If something like Andor comes along and isn't shite..... Well that's awesome!
I swear the dislikes used to just be hidden but easily accessible. So now it seems UA-cam went even further and made it impossible to find the dislikes.
'The truth fears no investigation'
I feel like acolyte gathered less dislikes then the graph shows us
Kinda seemed bland from the trailer, not really interested in high republic but if there was a republic show old republic wouldn’t have this dislike issue. If you could have acolyte or a KOTR/old republic show I mean come on a darth revan story arc it’s a no brainer man, also get a director who puts Star Wars and a solid plot first
I don't think anything in the trailer is exceptional but it does seem strange that this show got the level of hate it does. There's nothing in here that makes it seem worse then the other Disney+ star wars shows (minus Andor of course).
@@Blodhelm Do you have any evidence that Headland was involved in Weinstein's criminal activity?
@@datguy3581 Honestly, i think people are just fed up with Disney. They just have been pushing so many products out these last 4 years i think people are just burned out with seeing so much Star Wars and Marvel. I know i have stopped watching hero movies because i just get bored now. even with ones that used to interest me and i have on dvd.
I see no point in acolyte. The theme is already explained in the Prequels and some shows. Jedi became complacent, yadda yadda it destroyed them. If anything, i want the show to be an even older version of the republic. Where war is an actual war, like during tcw
@@gilangthehuman7713 I think this show might end up being more dark side focused then the trailer lets on.
when you made this vid, the dislikes were at 600k, whats your explanation?
what u mean, maybe when he posted but he could have made it earlier
Its a conspiracy. He wanted to lie and protect Disney Star wars
Yeah I agree with the point on power usage for interdictors, considering you’re basically bending physics it would probably use so much power it would compromise the ships ability to perform other functions in a fleet
Im still excited to watch it, i was cautious on Andor, but it turned out great.
I’m very interested in the high republic era. The trailer looks fine to me.
A note about the dislikes, I for one would have made it a point to dislike it if dislikes were still a thing on UA-cam. As they are not, I didn’t even bother watching the trailer. I watch your videos because I enjoy your content.
I comment on videos like this to let the world know how much I hate modern Star Wars and Disney. Still hoping Disney will get forced to sell star wars to avoid bankruptcy. That or lucasfilm leadership changing so much it may as well have been sold are the only things that will make me consider giving new Star Wars content a chance.
#AskEck do you think that the new canon will follow up on any of the Unknown Regions concepts being developed by Timothy Zahn in the Thrawn Ascendancy and imperial Thrawn books (like the Grisk threat or the protégé officers like Vanto, Faro, or Pelleon). It almost seems like they are setting up new canon versions of Empire of the Hand and unknown region threats but ignoring it in more official media in favor of High Republic connections instead
I am interested in seeing The Acolyte but I'm very worried about the lore implications with the Sith and what not. I just hope they don't ruin this like so many other shows. And I don't think it's gonna be all that great. I want it to be. But currently if it's not Andor or a Dave Filoni show. I'm not having high hopes about it
I'm gonna wait for more stuff, but the trailer did not really entice me to look forward to it.
This is a good take. People watch a trailer and then imagine what the whole show is and get mad about what they imagined.
Thank you for this clarification. It seemed really surprising to me that there were so many dislikes, so the extension use context was helpful. I am personally really excited for the Acolyte and I don't understand why people have to have on things before they even are released.
Because it looks trash, Disney shills are not star wars fans
Because it hurts less to have low expectations met than it does to get your hopes up time after time and get burned, then get called a bigot for being disappointed.
It would be like if your favorite restaurant got a new chef and completely changed the menu, but whenever you voice your discontent, the staff and half the customers shout at you and tell you to get out, and that you were never a true fan of the restaurant.

"I have a bad feeling" that they will rip off Revan origin story and put it's storyline in Acolyte, because according to Disney you can sell shit if it's smell of flowers.
I find it understandable that a lot of people prejudge this show as it comes following many star wars propositions that were lacklustre and disappointing. Added to this, the marketing put forward so far features mostly how this is socially groundbreaking rather than how intriguing or interesting the story will be.
I just expect more of what we've mostly seen so far from Disney's star wars. I don't expect to be surprised or uplifted. I don't expect to be the targeted audience. Hence, I am not looking forward to watching this.
I have not marked the trailer as liked nor disliked, but nothing it was showing made me reconsider my expectations about what is to come.
'socially groundbreaking' as if this isn't the same show Disney has been making every single show for what a decade now? Are these idiots still living in the 1950s in their mind?
I pray we finally get a much and far great Star Wars series or project that has good writing and people actually die from lightsabers.
Watch Andor
Good luck getting that out of woke commie disney
good writing...no way😊
I just don’t care about Star Wars anymore.
I'm in the same boat dude. Not that I've "grown out of it" or anything but this new content just isn't thrilling. Ahsoka was boring, Mando S2 and S3 were boring, and Book of Boba was boring. And the new Outlands game coming out looks extremely unentertaining. Andor was stellar but I don't think I'm alone in saying that. I'd may as well watch any other piece of junk coming out of Hollywood...
Then stop watching and commenting.

The reason the First two seasons of Mando looked so good on the volume was Greig Fraser. He knew how to shoot using it. He also was the cinematographer for the Batman, which also used the volume. He left after season 2 of Mando, so ever since then every show using the volume looks...... like it does. So yes the volume isn't to blame, just the people who don't know how to use it. Need to have a "how to shoot on the volume class" led by Greig Fraser. lol
Everything is painful all the time. Is it bad, is it politics, is it bad but people will say its politics etc etc etc just to exhaust us
The fandom menace is back in full force lmao
This could make sense but the trailer is now at over 500,000 dislikes so theirs no question whether this is very unpopular to most star wars fans
No, the trailer isn't at 500,000 dislikes. You have literally no data to say how many dislikes the trailer has at all. All you have is a biased dataset based ONLY on the people that have the extension installed, and the venn diagram of people that will fall for a fake extension and the people that hate on Disney Star Wars not for quality but because "dIdNeE bAaAaD1!" is a perfect circle.
@@chrisallen9638 This is pure cope.

@chrisallen9638 Cope harder man, even if I believed you and the algorithms were biased and we cut that number in half to take that into account, that still 250,000 dislikes which is more than any main line star wars trailer has ever gotten. It's unpopular
Let's hope they're saving the best announcement for Star Wars Day, aka May the Fourth Be With You.
If not, I have Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks to look forward to.
One just needs to take a look at Leslye Headland to know this ain't worth it.
She's made me more hopeful for the series? Russian Doll was a great series and everything she's said about the show so far has been exciting. I don't know about you, but a Rashomon-esque story in a Star Wars setting sounds great.
