Personally, the mojave is better for the gladiator, rubicon for the wrangler. If your gona be a heavy rock crawler you really dont want the gladiators break over angles, and if your gona be going high speed offroad you dont want the wranglers short wheelbase which makes it more unstable.

Biggest issue with the Mojave is the the tow capacity and payload. I’m not sure if it’s because of suspension since it technically has a heftier frame

Love that y'all did a side by side on these. I went back and forth for nearly 4 months before deciding on a 2022 Mojave with a manual transmission. No regrets whatsoever on it. Traded in my 2018 JLU sahara for it and couldn't be happier. Not only is the suspension awesome, but it is nice knowing it has the reinforced frame and cast knuckles. Excellent video.

It was a no brainer for me rubicon is superior if you do anything remotely off road having those lockers front and rear are game changers. The whole thing about the Mojave is those shocks. If you modify the vehicle at all they would be one of the first things swapped out. If you don’t modify things you want a nice comfy stock vehicle go Mojave if you lift your vehicles or modify in anyway go rubi.

Reinforced pretty much everything is better.. A front locker can be installed later if you feel like you need one as well as a sway bar disconnect or run the rockjock sway bar system. Beefier is better your only dog in the fight is a locker?

Very true! And if you do wanna go a little bit in the sand now & then, & rock climb, then go with rubi! Just simply cause of the apparent ability to modify it without complications & be able to do any & all off roading you want!! Rubi is your sweet spot!!! But it is definitely first & foremost mountain trail & rock climber monster than anything!!! But it can do a little desert runs too!! When I can somehow, I wanna get the gladiator rubicon, for sure!!!

Both are great trucks and it comes down to what you really want to use truck for. I went with Rubi, it fits my needs better since I wanted the fullest off -road capability. Orange is my favorite color so I really wanted to go Majove but both models fully loaded with all options are the same price. Yes, the Mojave has amazing Fox suspension but I wasn't about to jump my truck, the re-enforced frame is cool especially for towing, but I don't tow. SO it came down to dollar for dollar at the same price the Rubicon I felt offered more. Lockers front and rear, automatic sway bar disconnect and a crawler transfer case.

Yeah, I got my Mojave 2.5 lifted (rubicon lift kit), with shock and bumpstop extensions, didn't toss any of the cool suspension parts away... and 37" tires. Other than the fact that some undesirable folks (exwife) have trouble getting in and out of the rig, she drives like a Cadillac. After I regear I figure she'll do some rock crawling too.

I actually test drove one of these the other day. The idea of this vehicle is cool. All the things of a jeep with a truck bed in the back. I have to say the seats in the car are really stiff. Wondering if it was because i had cloth seats and not leather? I daily drive a 2003 mercury marquis with the sofa comfy seats lol. i was really excited for possibly owning one too. I guess i am just not cut out for a jeep i guess. Still cool ride though

I'm guessing the Mojave has no diesel option, purely due to the fact that it is heavier, which would make them have to do even more reinforcements to the suspension to account for us wanting to be goons, and jump the thing over dirt hills, and fly over pot holes. For me, I am much more likely to roll out on the beach, than through the woods, so either one is fine really, since you get in BIG trouble round these parts, if you do more than crawl on the beach.

I've purchase the 2023 Gladiator Mojave yesterday on May 19, 2023 for $51,000 out the door (10,000 down) ( 5,000 bonus savings) 5.75% interest for $775.00 per-month); with this bad economy all interest rates are higher compared to three years ago at 2.75%, It's now cheaper to purchase new vehicles, the rates are lower along with incentives and rebates . So far the good about the 2023 Mojave Gladiator is the smell of the new interior, looks, performance, draws a lot of attention. The bad is the fuel economy ; I left the dealership with a full tank tank of gas, 20 min later it was a half of a tank, also the steering isn't stable, it's like playing Gran Turismo trying to stay on the road. Overall, its was a great purchase along with the yellow ducks and peace signs from other drivers all day.
