Two words. Simply Awesome!
I'd be interested to see a troc r vs the cupras..
That’s an incredible way of testing cars which is almost 100% accurate.
I like to see the Golf GTi vs Polo GTi or maybe 110 Golf vs 110 Audi A3
interesting how the jag falls off after around 60 but reels the gv80 back in after 110, could it be the tall gearing?
Yep, that could be the case. Having more power and torque would help too.
Doesn't Australia get the E-Supercharger 3.5L V6 GV80 Coupe?
Not for RHD production, unfortunately.

A great video, and race.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
Interesting (and pretty clever) idea of drag racing two cars when you can't actually get them head to head. Requires a bit of logistics, setting up and a free stretch of road, but a good idea nonetheless.
As for the tesults themselves, i would say they are close to disappointing, especially for the Jag. Mid 14s @ barely above 160 (100mph) for a car with 200 hp / ton? Lol
Thanks. Yep, both fell well short of their claimed 0-100 times. The Jag in particular should have been much quicker; 294kW and 200kg lighter.
absolutely love this format - i'd like to see a Suzuki Swift up against a RAM 1500
