I just purchased a 2020 4Runner TRD Off Road!.. TBH i see people to major off roading in the non TRD models lol.. They are all beautiful.. I absolutely love the grill and bumper on this model you are showing
Toyota since 2014, hasn’t changed the 4runner design because is still one of the most sold vehicles in the world, and 4runner is one of the most capable vehicles suitable for a office man who likes off road adventures.
The Toyota 4Runner and Toyota Land Cruiser are absolute tanks and workhorses. And they are timeless--they don't change every 2 or 3 years like other German or other brands. They have unmatched reliability and unmatched resale values. They are both expensive SUV's, however, they are worth their price in performance and holding their value.
For sure it ages well. I mean I hated the big front grill look at first until some of the other automakers like chevy that came out with their obnoxious grills, I just said to myself it doesn’t look bad now😂
Does it have power lift gate down on the Limited. I have 2004. The rear door is very heavy to pull down by hand. No BSM for the price? It should be time for the 4 Runner to change the body style and the engine for better mpg
what is the point of a locking rear dif on the TRD off road if they all have A-TRAC? If slipping ever occurs, A-TRAC does momentarially what a locking dif would do, without needing a locking dif. I think I'd take the comfort of a 4x4 (AWD) limited with KDSS and better audio over the off road premium...seems like the only difference is trim, wheels, 4x4 system, audio, and a locking rear dif? Definitely need KDSS though
Let me start out by saying I really love the 4Runner, the room, the truck like feeling driving it, and just the ride itself is awesome. I have a 2020 TRD off road, and will purchase another 4Runner next time as well. Not being negative, but some things I would like to see happen with the 4Runner in the future that would, in my opinion really improve the vehicle. 1. The key fob should have remote start, and tailgate open, and that’s another thing, most All SUV's have remote tailgate lift/close. 2. Transmission should be an 8 speed like the Jeep Grand Cherokee is. 3. The protruding headlights are borderline embarrassing, and need the blend in with the vehicle. 4. Blind spot monitoring & Cross traffic. 5. Entune is kind of dated, has terrible reviews, and there is a reason for that, other operating systems are so much nicer. Hopefully, Toyota will see these suggestions, and at least consider them moving forward. Again, all considered, I still Love Toyota, and I look forward to awesome 4Runners in the future.
If any or most of the thing you just wanted included were included I wouldn't have bought my 4runner no gimmicks just results if you want a jeep or whatever get that
If I got rich out of nowhere and had $100M to my name this would be the first suv I’ll buy, and maybe a Tacoma or a ram not sure tbh but instead of shelling out for $200k cars this is my dream suv, coming from a family who uses crap Chevy the Tahoe is crappy.
Simple question. The Limited has Dual Zone Climate Control for separate driver and front passenger air temperature selection. It also has two center vents for the second row passengers. How is the temperature of the air controlled for the second row occupants?
Waiting for the dealership to call, my sister just bought a 4wd limited with everything and 3rd row in blue, they had to get it from another dealer in state.
For a old design, the interior still doesn’t feel outdated, they added all the safety features, a new head unit with the updated maps, and the car has venerated and heated seats, it still looks like a luxurious interior
@@Sirgromulus That's crazy. The only big noticeable difference on the exterior is the headlights. Can't believe how much Toyota charge for a vehicle this outdated in 2020, same with the Tundra.

I agree, the tacoma has LED's for the 2020. One reason why i chose the trailhawk over the 4 runner. Both 50k spec'd up, but I get ACC, lane sense and front and rear parking senses
Because at Toyota, the Corolla is King internationally. Therefore, it gets the better headlight setup. These 4Runners are super trucks but not the leader of the pack. Great observation though.
