Today we are talking about How Mudras work - those gestures or mystical positions of your hands - actually work. The benefits of yoga mudras in your hands are immense when it comes to your body, mind, emotions, energy and spirit, but how do they actually work? How does bending, crossing, extending, and touching your fingers with other fingers to form mudras engage and influence your body, mind, emotions, energy and spirit? In this video I will answer those questions about how mudras work and also share with you some cool demonstrations about how the shape of your hands affects your breathing.

My brain is activated! Once I was feeling nauseous and just before I went to sleep, I did a hand mudra for nausea for 20 minutes and after I was done, I felt a big difference! This really really works guys.... also there's mudras for wealth too believe it or not!!

Hi Melissa,
I know this is an old video but i've only started feeling the effects of Mudras this year, what you have explained i have experienced, brain synchronicity, breathing effect, calming feeling, energy flowing and a lot more . Which is why i had to come here and learn more. My palms are tingly and feel like great energy is flowing through them. It can be hard to type sometimes. It feels like i really feel anything that i touch now, and it's energy. I think my hand chakras got active in the process, I can't explain what the feeling is like exactly but it's electromagnetic like and also orgasmic like. I just need guidance as i have been undergoing a lot of spiritual growth but now there is energy flowing through me and i don't know what to do with it.

Thank you for this.... I'm not a person who typically repeats words people want me to say but I have a copy of mudras: Yoga in Your hands and am planning to explore and incorporate the mudras I can physically do that adress menopause and weight issues. I had a stroke and cannot use my left hand without putting the hand into position or supporting it with my right hand. Any tips to modify mudras would be greatly appreciated.
